Chapter 21
Union of Three
Chapter 21
“C’mon, Draco. We’ve gotta go,” said Harry, tapping his foot impatiently. He was packed and eager to leave, but now he was waiting for Draco to quit primping in front of the mirror. “You look fine- perfect in fact. Can we please go now? I wanna meet my grandmother sometime today, if you don’t mind.”
“Keep your pants on. Better yet, take them off,” said Draco teasingly, leering at Harry as he strolled out of the bathroom and grabbed his bag. “Okay. Now I’m ready.”
“It’s about time,” muttered Harry. “You spend more time in front of the mirror than any girl I’ve met. You probably got up three hours before breakfast just to get ready.” He saw the guilty blush flare on Draco’s cheeks and snickered. “Oh my god, you did.”
“Shut up,” said Draco petulantly. “Just because you always looked like you rolled out of bed and came to class, it doesn’t mean everyone should. Some people actually have reputations to protect and a name to uphold.”
“Poor Draco,” cooed Harry sympathetically, batting his eyelashes innocently. “All that time spent protecting the Malfoy name and you end up in a relationship with the very antithesis of everything you represent. Although I am proud of the Potter name, I don’t adhere to an ancient family code like you do. I bet you ask yourself how you put up with me on a daily basis, don’t you?” Harry smiled sadly as he asked that question. Sometimes his life just felt a little surreal. Like one day he’ll wake up and his life with Lucius and Draco will have been just a dream. It made him wonder if they ever felt the same.
“No, Harry, I don’t,” said Draco softly. “I feel blessed each day I wake up and you are in my life. Don’t ever think differently, kitten. You changed my life for the better.”
“Now that’s more like it,” said Harry, kissing Draco on the cheek and dragging the blonde downstairs to meet Lucius.
“It’s about time you got here,” said Lucius impatiently, pulling Harry close for a quick kiss before opening the portal. Draco simply lifted his nose in the air and stepped into the portal. Lucius smiled down at Harry and asked loudly, “Draco primping in front of the mirror again?” His grin widened when Harry snickered quietly when they heard Draco yell, “I heard that!” from the other side of the portal. Lucius just shook his head, wrapped his arm around Harry’s waist, and stepped through the portal.

The Weasley’s were sitting at the kitchen table, waiting impatiently for Ron to start explaining a few things. After Bill had brought the tree home yesterday, Ron had adamantly refused to say anything until the entire Weasley clan had arrived to hear him. Of course, now that everyone was here, Ron was hesitant to start and few people were getting impatient- okay, everyone was getting impatient.
“Now, Ron, tell us what it is you’ve been hiding,” said Molly sternly. “I want an explanation, and I want it now.”
“Yeah, like ‘Who is Taryn?’ and ‘What the hell was with that tree?’ Those are just a few questions I want answered,” said Bill heatedly, glaring at his youngest brother. He was still angry about the fact that Ron had refused to speak until the rest of the family had gathered.
“I just want to know one thing, Ron,” said Ginny quietly, looking at her brother apprehensively. “Is Harry all right? We haven’t heard from him all summer.”
“He’s fine,” said Ron quickly. “He’s actually really happy for once.”
“Start from the beginning, Ronald,” said Molly firmly.
“Well, here goes,” said Ron nervously. “It all started on July 31st. Harry found out that he was You-Know-Who’s biological son.”
“What?!” everyone screeched, causing Ron to flinch and cover his ears.
“I can’t believe that our sweet, young Harry was related to that bastard,” said Fred incredulously.
“What else happened?” asked George. “I can tell there’s more to the story.”
“Right. Harry came into an elven and vampire inheritance,” said Ron calmly, ignoring Charlie’s “How the hell did that happen? Vampires and Elves are traditional enemies.” “Right after that, Snape and Lucius and Draco Malfoy showed up on Harry’s doorstep.”
“I hope they’re in Azkaban now,” snarled Arthur angrily, shaking his fist.
“Uh, not exactly,” mumbled Ron. “It turns out that Lucius and Draco are fae and are Harry’s mates, and Snape and Remus are together as well. Anyway, shortly after his bonding, Harry was kidnapped by his clan leader. Come to find out, Harry’s clan leader, Dougal, is Lucius’ brother-in-law, so he joined our side.”
“Where does Taryn come in?” asked Bill impatiently.
“Well, Harry was hit by a curse when You-Know-Who took Grimmauld Place and nearly died because of it. Snape managed to save him, but Harry was in a coma for three days. We went ahead with the purification ritual.”
“Wait! Why did you need a purification ritual?” asked Ginny in confusion.
“Because Harry was a horcrux and we needed to expel You-Know-Who’s soul from Harry’s body. Well, when Harry woke up, he said that he’d seen his mother and Sirius and had to fight the soul to protect his daughter. Taryn is Harry’s unborn daughter,” said Ron calmly.
“And Taryn turned Voldemort into a Sakura tree?” asked Bill incredulously “How did that happen? Unborn children are not supposed to be able to use magic.”
“Taryn is Harry’s child,” said Ron reasonably. “That should be explanation enough.”
“He’s got a point there,” said George.
“Yeah, Harry always manages to do the impossible,” said Fred.
“So Harry’s unborn daughter turned You-Know-Who into a tree and we used him as firewood?” asked Molly frantically. “How did all this happen without the Order knowing about it?”
“Because Harry had fae and elven allies to help. It was easier than trying to organize an attack with people questioning his every move, and you know very well that’s exactly what would have happened if Harry had involved the Order,” said Ron judiciously. “Besides, we won and that’s really all that matters.”
“I think that Harry and I need to have a little talk,” said Molly determinedly, getting to her feet and stalking to the fireplace. The rest of the Weasley’s looked at each other and scrambled to follow. They flooed to Godric’s Hollow and stepped into the silent living room. Ignoring everyone else, Molly went from room to room in her search for Harry.
Molly slammed the door open and stared in shock. At the surprised squeak behind her, Molly whirled around and snapped, “Ginny, cover your eyes.” Bill immediately covered Ginny’s eyes while Charlie covered her ears. Fred and George just snickered.
“What the bloody hell are you doing in my bedroom?” snapped Severus as Remus pulled out of him and covered them with the duvet. “You could have at least knocked first. We were celebrating our engagement.”
“We need to speak to Harry,” said Molly quietly, wringing her hands nervously.
“He’s not here,” said Remus calmly. “Lucius and Draco took him to visit his grandparents, and we don’t expect them back for two weeks.”
“Why didn’t he tell me?” whispered Molly sadly. “I thought he was family.”
“That’s why he didn’t tell you,” said Severus evenly. “You know how the brat is. He’ll go to any lengths to protect his family, and that’s all of you. See, we didn’t exactly give him a choice. Lucius and Draco would die before they allowed anything to hurt Harry, and I think Dougal’s pretty much the same way.”
“Oh please, Severus. Like you’re not just as protective of him,” scoffed Remus.
“What can I say? He just grows on you- like a parasite or something,” said Severus, crossing his arms huffily. “Once he’s claimed possession, you just can’t get rid of him.”
“And don’t want to, right?” asked Molly with a smile. “Will you just tell him to firecall me when he gets back? I want to hear all about his grandparents and how his visit went.”
“We will,” said Remus quickly.
“Congratulations on your engagement,” said Molly, pushing the rest of the redheads back into the corridor. “We’ll just be going now.” She shut the door and ushered her family back to the living room fireplace, flooing back home in a hurry.
“The Fates hate us, don’t they?” asked Severus petulantly. “All I wanted to do was to enjoy the day you asked me to marry you, but oh no, that isn’t possible because everyone seems to think this is the best time to interrupt.”
“It’s not so bad,” said Remus comfortingly. “You just got the silent seal of approval from Molly Weasley.”
“Who cares? Just shut up and finish what you started,” said Severus, pulling Remus down for another kiss.

Harry gazed at his surroundings in wonder. While the castle wasn’t nearly as big as Hogwarts, it was just as impressive. It didn’t have moving portraits and staircases, but it did have talking trees and humming flowers. Harry was just fascinated by all the plant life decorating the corridors. Lucius finally stopped in front of a pair of double doors, extending from floor to ceiling.
“Come in, Lucius,” called a voice from inside the room.
Lucius pushed open the doors and led Harry and Draco inside. Aracely and Urian were the only ones inside. Harry peered curiously around Lucius’ shoulder and grinned when he saw Urian. “Uri, how are you?” he asked, skirting around Lucius and throwing himself in his grandfather’s arms. “You’re looking a lot better than the last time I saw you.”
“Thanks to you, Harry,” said Urian, ruffling his grandson’s hair affectionately. “I guess you want to meet your grandmother now?”
“Well, yeah. You don’t think I would have made this trip for any other reason, do you?” Harry asked teasingly.
“You know you missed me, brat,” said Urian. He pulled Harry over to Aracely. “Harry, meet my mate, Aracely, your grandmother.”
“I’ve been waiting for you, Harry,” said Aracely, smiling softly at her grandson. “It is a pleasure to finally meet you.”
“Yeah,” said Harry nervously. “Me, too. I mean, it’s a pleasure to meet you, too.”
“No need to be so nervous, Harry,” said Aracely soothingly. “Welcome to my home, Castle Willow.”
“Castle Willow? Why is it called that, if you don’t mind me asking?” asked Harry curiously, his curiosity overcoming his nervousness.
“Because this castle is the heart of the oldest willow tree in our realm. Our magic has kept this tree alive for over two thousand years, and it in return has sheltered us in this beautiful castle,” she explained.
“But how can a simple Willow tree create such a huge castle?” asked Harry. “And doesn’t it hurt the tree to create these rooms? And what about the furnishings? Are they brought in or were they created like the rooms were?”
“So curious about magic,” said Aracely, amused by Harry’s enthusiasm. “Alright, I’ll answer your questions. You are in a different realm. The elves and the fae moved to this realm after the great battle. The trees here are massive and magical in their own right. The castle isn’t really built into the tree. Instead, the tree has the ability to shift its mass, creating separate rooms and even the furnishings.”
“That is absolutely amazing,” said Harry, completely awed by the prospect of standing inside a tree that can change the room at will. He turned to Lucius excitedly and asked, “Do the fae have castles like this?”
“No, they don’t,” said Lucius. “The elves have a greater affinity with the trees than the fae do. Besides, the fae are more war oriented and stone doesn’t burn as well as wood.”
“It’s getting rather late, so allow me to show you your room,” said Aracely quietly. She led them out of the room and down two corridors. She stopped in front of a door with a sun, moon, and star in the shape of a triangle . “All the preparations have been made, and Gabriel will start the proceedings in the morning. Get some rest. You have a long day ahead of you tomorrow.” She saw the question forming on Harry’s lips and quickly shut the door, leaving Lucius and Draco to answer the questions her grandson had.
“What does she mean about having a long day ahead of us?” asked Harry, turning to towards Lucius. He saw the indecision on Lucius’ face and the clueless look on Draco’s. “Tell me, Luc. You know something so spill it.”
Coming to a quick decision, Lucius pulled Harry into his arms. “You know how I told you that your grandparents had something special planned for you?” Harry simply nodded. “Well, I came to ask permission to hold an Elven wedding for the three of us.”
“You came to see if we could have a wedding here before you bothered to ask anyone to marry you? I can’t decide whether I should feel insulted about you deciding my future for me, or incredibly loved that you would go through all this trouble for me,” said Harry, pulling away from Lucius and staring at him incredulously.
“I personally choose the incredibly loved option,” muttered Lucius with a pout. Only ducking his head and scuffing his foot could make him look any more childish. “After all, that is why I did all this.”
“He didn’t bother to tell me his plans, either,” said Draco, glaring at Lucius for upsetting his kitten. He took Harry’s hand and brought it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to the brunette’s knuckles. “I can’t really blame him for wanting to do something special for the love of his life, though. We both love you very much. Will you do us the honour of becoming our husband?”
“Well, since you asked so nicely,” said Harry teasingly. “I’d love to. It would be a shame to let all that effort go to waste.”
“Thank you, love,” said Lucius quietly. He pressed a quick kiss on Harry’s cheek and walked towards his bags.
“Aren’t you forgetting something?” asked Harry mischievously.
Lucius stopped and looked at Harry in confusion. Draco, who had clearly seen the mischievous smile, simply smirked and waited for it. “What did I forget?” asked Lucius uncertainly.
“You just asked me to marry you and I agreed, right?” asked Harry. Lucius slowly nodded. “You’re forgetting the celebratory sex. Take off those clothes and get your arse on the bed. That includes you, Draco, so hop to it.”
All three of them were naked and on the bed within minutes. Soon, Draco was thrusting slowly into Harry’s tight arse while Harry sucked and stroked Lucius’ rigid cock. Draco suddenly shouted his release, slamming into Harry’s passage and ramming the brunette’s sweet spot forcefully. Harry screamed around Lucius’ dick, triggering the blonde’s release. As he pulled Harry comfortably between them, Lucius softly whispered to Harry, “You’re right, kitten. We definitely shouldn’t forget the celebratory sex. I love you, Harry.” He fell asleep to Harry’s muttered, “Love you too, Luc.”
*****
Harry jerked awake at the sound of someone banging on the door. Crawling over Lucius and climbing off the bed, Harry pulled on a robe and stumbled to the door. He yanked the door opened and blinked blearily at the rude person who had interrupted his sleep.
“It’s time to get up, little one,” said Gabriel, grinning at the adorable brunette. “We have things to do before your wedding.”
“What time is it?” asked Harry sleepily, rubbing his eyes and yawning.
“7:00, little one,” said Gabriel.
Harry nodded and shut the door in Gabriel’s face. He stumbled back to bed and crawled on Lucius’ chest, falling asleep almost instantly. Of course, that annoying elf in the corridor started banging on the door again, this time waking Draco. Draco obediently woke Lucius and Harry, eager to have everything perfect for his kitten’s wedding.
“Why are we bathing here again?” asked Harry curiously. After breakfast, Gabriel had taken them into the forest to pick some flowers to be used for the wedding. After three hours of searching and gathering, they managed to acquire laurel for Harry, ivy for Lucius, and veronica for Draco. Now it was after lunch and they were bathing in a rock pool just outside the castle.
“It’s the cleansing pool. The water in this pool has natural healing and cleansing properties,” said Gabriel. “Are you done yet? I still have to get you ready for the ceremony.”
“Well, let’s go then,” said Draco, climbing out of the pool.
Gabriel took them back to their room and they saw three white robes lying on the bed. On top of each robe was a wreath of the flowers they had picked that morning. It was just getting dark by the time they were dressed and ready to proceed. Gabriel led them to a room they hadn’t seen before, and Harry smiled when he saw Aracely, Urian, and Dougal already in attendance. Several other people were there but Harry didn’t recognise any of them.
When they reached the altar, Aracely smiled comfortingly at them. “We have come to witness the joining of Harry Potter, Lucius Malfoy, and Draco Malfoy. Let the Elven blessing commence,” said Aracely, nodding to King Athelly to start.
King Athelly simply chanted a short spell that Harry didn’t understand. As the chant died, the king stroked his finger across Harry’s left wrist and a tattoo of ivy winding around his wrist appeared. He then did the same to Lucius and Draco.
“Queen Lisselle, you may begin,” said Aracely, nodding to the fae queen.
Like King Athelly, Queen Lisselle chanted a short spell and stroked a finger across their right wrist. This time, a tattoo of entwined feathers encircling the wrist appeared.
“Clan Leader Korbin, you may begin,” said Aracely, stepping back quickly to avoid Dougal’s enthusiastic rush to get started.
“Spirit to spirit, heart to heart, may you have eternity,” said Dougal, stroking a finger over their heart. Unseen by everyone, a tattoo of a sword surrounded by an infinity sign appeared on the flesh over their heart.
“So they have been blessed, so they are joined. Welcome them to our family,” said Aracely, ending the ceremony as those in attendance shouted their welcome.
“Does this mean I have to go by Harry James Potter-Malfoy, or just Harry Malfoy?” asked Harry, smiling at his new husbands.
“It means you are finally legally ours and no one can ever take you away from us,” said Draco, hugging Harry to his side possessively.
“I prefer Harry Malfoy since you’ve already named our little one Taryn Odette Malfoy,” said Lucius, patting the ‘little one’ in question.
“Harry Malfoy it is,” said Harry cheekily. He grabbed their hands and started towards the door. “We just got married. It’s time for more celebratory sex. Hurry up.”
“Oh definitely,” drawled Draco with a smirk. “Celebratory sex is a must for this occasion.”
Only Lucius saw the mysterious smile on Aracely’s face as they left. He couldn’t help but think that she knew something they didn’t. If only he knew the reason for that smile.
