Chapter 20

Chapter 20 The Headmaster

“Mr. Potter it’s all a matter of attitude. One must appear to know what he is doing, even if he doesn’t. If you keep looking at your notes the students will think you don’t know what you are doing and will inevitably take control of the class. In other classes that would merely be annoying but in potions it could be deadly. Now straighten you shoulders and appear to be knowledgeable,” Snape was even intimidating from his sick bed.

“Not everyone can be an arsehole like you,” Harry mumbled as he threw his shoulders back and lifted his chin.

“Better. A sneer would be quite effective.” Severus eyed his former student critically. His face remained impassive as he admired Harry’s strong physique. He was relieved that a certain part of his body was refusing to respond to the sight of a stunning, muscular, young man. Then he wondered ‘why’ he wasn’t responding to a stunning, muscular, young man. His face flushed and he could hear his heart pound in his ears.

“Snape, you alright?” Severus wasn’t even aware of the fact that Harry had carded his fingers through his hair as he offered his ex-Professor a glass of cool water. Snape was about finished with the drink when he realized Harry’s slender fingers were entwined in his locks. Taking a deep breath he relaxed his head into Potter’s palm. Closing his eyes, he savored the feel of Harry’s touch.

“Believe it or not, you use to love to touch my hair.” He kept his eyes closed in fear of Harry’s reaction.

“I still do. If I didn’t have to look at you I would love to thread my fingers all day long through your hair.”

“Must you…” Snape shook his head free from Harry’s hand.

“What?” A part of Harry grieved that he no longer was able to stroke Snape’s silken hair.

“Must you always ruin a pleasant moment with one of your snide comments?”

“Me? Me?” Harry was dumbfounded. “Look who’s talking. The most sarcastic bastard that ever was put on the earth,” Harry harrumphed, “and he calls me snide.”

“I’m weary. Let us not bicker anymore today. You have my notes, why don’t you go home and take some time to study them. We’ll resume tomorrow.”

While looking at Snape, Harry flashed to a memory of them fiercely arguing. Faces were red with anger. Spittle had flown as vile words were thrown at one another. Harry thought the two were about to come to blows when Snape threw himself into a younger Harry’s arms and snogged him senseless. With strength that belied his size, Harry took charge of the kiss and pushed Snape against the wall. Harry remembered how he loved the look of desire that had shown on Snape’s face, eyes closed, and his mouth opened, moaning his desire. He saw, in his vision, him take the Potions Professor’s engorged cock in hand and stroke him to completion while he rubbed his own hardened cock against his lover’s thigh until he shuddered and came in his pants.

Harry menacingly leaned over Snape and said, “You liked it when I took control, didn’t you?”

The shock that flashed across Snape’s face quickly changed into a sneer. “What? Don’t be absurd. I would never give up my control… especially to the likes of James Potter’s son.”

“No, you didn’t give it up. I took it and you loved it. Was that what you liked about our relationship? That I was ‘manly’ enough to control the tyrant of Hogwarts?” Harry found his pants tightened as his prick enlarged. He took a step back when he became aware that he was getting turned on by Snape. Letting out a long, slow breath he realized that controlling Snape was an aphrodisiac, that he wanted nothing more than to shag the man.

“You were a pushy little shit, even back then. Did I want you? Merlin, yes. Do I want to know how your cock feels buried deep in me? Yes. I want you to pound my arse so hard that I pass out from the pleasure. Does that answer your fucking question?” Snape spit the words out.

Harry stood thunderstruck by the admission. Part of him wanted to turn Snape over and fuck him, the rational part of his brain wanted to run as far away as possible. The rational part won.

“I have to go,” Harry was stepping back towards the door. “I have an appointment at St. Mungo’s tomorrow. I doubt if I’ll show up,” he stammered as he left. Backing up one step too many, he bumped into Healer Montgomery who was walking in as Harry was exiting. “Sorry!” Harry said as he ran from the room.

Alvin eyed Snape suspiciously. “What happened?” he asked as he pulled his wand out to do an examination.

“Nothing that concerns you.” Severus ran his fingers through his hair and for an instant thought he could feel Harry’s fingers.

Even though Alvin saw how frustrated his patient was he thought it would be better to drop the subject. “Do you feel anything in your legs; any aches or tingling?” Alvin asked as he checked Severus’ vitals.

“No nothing. When Harry massages my legs I can feel the sensation of him touching me but not the touch itself. I was wondering…” Severus paused as he tried to find the right words to ask his question.

“I’m your doctor, you can ask me anything and not be embarrassed about it,” Alvin said trying not to giggle at Snape’s awkwardness.

“You have implied that I should regain the use of my legs. Will I also regain use of other parts of me?” Severus tried hard not to blush.

Alvin was not quite paying attention, being engrossed at studying the results of his tests. “Huh? I’m sorry what were you saying?”

“On my person there are certain parts that seem to not to be functioning properly.”

“Severus I’m not a mind reader, would you please just tell me what’s wrong?” Suddenly Alvin was aware of what Snape was getting at. “Oh… and how long have you had this problem?”

“That is hard to say. I hadn’t had the inclination in some time but when Harry and I were ‘seeing’ one another years ago, I perpetually had a raging hard on. Today, as I was noticing how nice he had turned out, I realized that I have not had an erection in quite some time. The boy could do amazing things to my libido. I was wondering why he is no longer affecting me.”

“Before you find yourself fretting over, more than likely, an imaginary problem, let us get you well. There could be numerous reasons why you are not functioning properly at this time. If you would like we could admit you to St. Mungo’s and run some tests.” Alvin frowned as he studied the results of his wand. He wasn’t pleased by the reading. Severus’ testosterone levels were almost non-existence. This was not the same curse that Severus endured in the legs but something far more sinister. He would keep his worries to himself until he did some research.

Maybe he’d ask the wife of the redhead, she seemed the kind that would like to do some investigating… what was her name? Oh yes, Hermione. Healer Montgomery decided that he would fire call her, as soon as he was done with his examination.

“No. I prefer not to be probe or poked any more times that is necessary. I will take your advice and try not to fret about my… manhood.”

“Amazing,” Alvin said in a serious tone.

“What? What did you find?” Severus voice roared in concern.

“That someone was going to take my advice,” the Healer teased.

“I find it hard to see what Ms. McGonagall sees in you,” Severus said as he took a relaxing breath.

“Did she say something about me?” Alvin stopped what he was doing.

“Say? No, she said nothing. She didn’t have to. She is quite smitten with you,” he informed the Healer.

“How do you know she is ‘smitten’ with me if she hadn’t said anything to you about me?”

“She has always been one to wear her feelings on her sleeves. She, in recent days, has been incessantly giggling and only one thing can put such a silly grin on her face and that is a man.”

“And why would you think that ‘man’ would be me?”

“I am not an idiot, so please do not treat me as one,” he rolled his eyes in annoyance before he continued. “You and that Montoya person are the only new men that have come into her life of late. Since Montoya is too analytical for her liking that counts him out. She is also drawn to men who are compassionate and intense in their desire, ergo… you.”

“Men? Just how many men are we talking about?” Alvin looked at Severus questionably.

“She has been married three, no four times. No, that is incorrect. She has been married three times, the fourth was annulled; a childhood romance as it were.”

“Would you like to expound and tell me what happened to all of her spouses?”

“Oh, they were all tragic deaths, every one of them.” Severus grinned.

“My poor Minerva, how she must have suffered. I’ll have to see what I can do, to make her forget her tragic losses,” Alvin sarcastically told his patient.

“It would probably be wise that you don’t mention this conversation to her. She is a very private lady and would hate to think that ‘you’ were inquiring about her past. She might even wish no longer to see you. So mum’s the word,” he placed his long bony finger across his lips.

“Of course, this conversation never happened,” he too made the silence sign.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Severus was having a pleasant evening. Draco had carried him to a chair near the hearth and gave him a choice of books to read. On the end table, just within his reach, were a neat pile of his chocolates and a half of carafe of red wine. The chocolates were consumed by him at a dangerous rate. The fine wine was relished and sipped delicately between pages of a most interesting muggle book. He found he liked the way this Rudyard Kipling wrote and would ask Draco if he had any more of the author’s books.

“Severus Snape, if you weren’t so tall I would paddle your bottom.” Minerva stormed into his bedroom.

Slowly, Severus placed his wine down on a coaster and closed the book over his finger, so as not to lose his place. “Minerva, what a pleasant surprise. You seem distraught. Would you join me with a glass of Madeira, my dear?”

“No, I would not. What I would like is to throttle you. Would you care to explain to me why you told Alvin that I was married three times?” she questioned.

“It’s the truth isn’t it?”

“Yes, but it was my place to tell him, not yours,” she fumed.

“Did you two break up?” There was a snigger behind his words.

“We haven’t even had an official date of yet.” Her eyes narrowed. “Why would you ask if we broke up. What’s going on?”

Severus opened his book and started to read ignoring her question. She knelt next to his chair and placed a withered hand onto of his forearm. She tilted her head until she was able to catch her friend’s black eyes.

“Severus, are you jealous?” she asked gently.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Why would I be jealous of him?” He slammed his book shut. Frustrated, he growled that he couldn’t get up and pace about the room.

“Severus, you’re still my boy,” She patted his cheek.

“I don’t know…”

“Hush. I will always be here to take care of you. I do care for Alvin.”

Severus sneered. Minerva smiled as she continued. “But that doesn’t mean I will care for you any less.”

“You won’t have time for me,” Severus turned his head away in embarrassment.

Minerva was taken back how vulnerable and young Severus sounded. “You have been my boy since I gave you a birthday party in your first year. No one can change the fact that you hold a special place in my heart, but young man, I get lonely too and I find Alvin attractive and entertaining. Can’t I have you both?” she inquired.

Like a petulant child he answered, “No. I want you all to myself.”

“Severus!” she scolded.

“Fine. Date him. See if I care.”

“Are you pouting?”

“Minerva,” his eyes were filled with tears, “I had no one in my life until you. I’m sorry if I find it difficult to share. All I ask is that you don’t forget about me.”

“Oh my poor boy.” She stood and kissed the top of his head. “I will always be a part of your life. Do you know why?” she asked. He shook his head no. “It’s simple, because you will always be a part of my life. They go hand in hand, don’t you see?”

“I will ‘try’ to accept the fact that you may be dating, but I don’t have to like it.”

“I’m not asking you to like it, only to permit to it.”

“You don’t need my permission to date,” he huffed, “but thank you for asking. Minerva, I’ve known you a long time now and in all those years I don’t believe I have ever told you how much you mean to me. I love you like the mother I should have had,” he said with his head held high.

“And I love you Severus like the son I never had.” She leaned over and kissed his tear stained cheek.

Thank you for all of your reviews if there was a way for me answer everyone of them I would...thank you so very much. The slightest little praise incourages me to continue writing.
