Author’s Note: As I’ve said before I’m not
sure if I’m going to make Hermione pregnant, I’ve just left that
option open to myself, you know? I try not to think ahead too much
because then I get tangled in how to get to that point. Anyways thank
you to all the reviewers and Anon and beyond_evil you both are good
people in my books and thank you to all the people who do give
constructive criticism it is appreciated (although a little hard to
swallow sometimes) and I make sure to try and improve on my writing. So
if it’s still not up to snuff then I’ll have to figure something out
okay? Sounds fair to all? And to the person who was going to give me the
Snape plushie but drooled on it, use a hairdryer, I want my Snape! LOL,
and the story is going to be longer than just HG turning into the
werewolf, I promise I’m aiming to make it at least 40 chapters so
don’t worry it’s not going anywhere.

Minerva glanced at the clock and nodded to herself, class was
almost over and she had to speak with Hermione. “Miss Granger may I
have a word with you in private?” Minerva asked Hermione as she stood
beside the student in questions’ desk.

Hermione looked up and nodded; she’d been expecting this so why
should she be surprised at McGonagall’s request? Hermione ignored the
looks that she was getting from the other students and followed
McGonagall outside into the hallway.

“I don’t know what you have done but the Headmaster had
informed me that you are no longer allowed to wander the halls. I would
like to know why but the Headmaster said to just leave it at that. Is
there anything you wanted to tell me Miss Granger?”

     &nbsbsp;bsp;
Hermione looked at the closed door to her classroom and then
looked back towards McGonagall. “No I’m afraid there isn’t
anything to tell.” Hermione said and inwardly winced when she saw that
McGonagall was clearly upset over being out of the loop. “I’m very
sorry Professor but for right now I think it was best if you most of all
knew nothing more than what you have been told.” Hermione hesitated,
she wanted to elaborate but she couldn’t.

Minerva wanted to scream with frustration. No one in this castle
was giving her any answers and she was sick of it. Her eyes narrowed as
she took in her students’ pale skin. “Miss Granger I trust if there
is anything that I CAN do you will come to me?”

Hermione nodded her head slowly and smothered the groan that came
to her lips as the hallway rolled and then righted itself. She pasted a
smile on her face and walked back into the classroom. She smiled at
Harry and Ron and sat back down and gathered up her supplies and books
just as the bell rang.

Severus snorted as he saw a hot and flushed Remus walking back
into the school. Where had that man been that he was all covered in
dust? Snape shuddered, who knew what else. He pasted a sneer on his face
and walked over to intercept Remus. “Lupin.” Short and to the point.

Remus was in no mood to chitchat and he wanted to convey this fact to
Snape in one word.

Snape glared at the man in front of him. He pulled out the two
beakers and shoved them into Remus’ hands “This is for you and a
certain student, make sure she gets it.” Snape said and made sure that
Remus understood him before whirling away leaving a bewildered Remus
standing there.

Draco Malfoy enjoyed causing mischief, in fact it was his
favourite past time other then picking on the other houses. He smiled as
Crabbe and Goyle both entered the Slytherin common room with smiles on
their faces. Mission accomplished, well at least the first stage. Draco
was going to make sure that the mudblood wouldn’t cross wands with him
again. Oh no he wasn’t the heir of the Malfoy clan to be undermined by
a…a girl! A evil smile graced his lips as he thought of the surprise
that Granger was going to find in her room. He got up out of the chair
and brushed his slacks of imaginary dust. “Lunch seems like a good
idea.” Draco said and walked out, leaving Crabbe and Goyle to follow
him.

Hermione sank down on the bench and sighed. Thank gosh that
everything was going okay. Well except for a silent Severus and a
curious McGonagall that was. Hermione felt her stomach roll and calmly
reached for a glass of water, hoping that her shaking hands wouldn’t
be noticed.

Remus watched as Hermione sat down, her face pale and her smile
not quite the same. He was about to turn his gaze onto another student
but stopped when he saw that Hermiones’ hands were shaking. “What is
that girl up to now?” He muttered under his breath. He ignored his
meal and sipped from his glass, his eyes never leaving Hermiones’
figure.

Snape walked into the Great Hall his mind whirling as to what
Malfoy could be up to. He had seen the look in the boys’ eye and had
wondered but now upon looking at Malfoys’ face he could see a almost
gleeful look on it. Severus sighed mentally and smacked himself on the
forehead. He rubbed the spot and was about to ask Lupin to keep an eye
on Hermione when he noticed a plate of untouched food in front of Lupin.
He almost said something but stopped when he saw that Lupin wasn’t
even paying any attention to him. Severus followed his gaze to where
none other but Hermione was sitting. Severus swallowed the groan. He had
meant surveillance but not this type of one.

“Lupin I think that maybe we should discuss how to go about
surveying someone without letting them know that you are there.”

Remus shook himself mentally and turned. “I hadn’t planned on
staring at her through all for all of lunch but then I noticed that
something wasn’t quite right. Her hands were shaking, a slight tremor
but still…then there’s something wrong with her eyes. They have no
life in them Severus .”

Severus felt his gut clench. They had gone too far. They had
succeeded in killing the will of one of the best witches to ever come
through Hogwarts’. Severus buried his face in his hands.

Hermione swallowed the tasteless food and smiled at Ron and Harry
appropriately.

“Hermione may I ask you why you study so much?”

Hermione turned to look at Neville. She thought they knew why she
studied so much. If they hadn’t well she wasn’t going to tell them.
“Knowledge is power, power corrupts. Study hard, be evil.” Hermione
said calmly and turned back to her dinner ignoring all the looks of
disbelief.

Suddenly laughter overtook all those Gryffindor’s who had been
near enough to hear her comment.

“Hermione that should be the Slytherin motto not yours.” Ron
snorted out through laughter.

Hermione gave a small laugh but stopped when she felt her stomach
roll. “Well I’m off to the library to get some books before the bell
goes. I’ll see you all at Hagrids’ in about 20 minutes?” Hermione
got up slowly and smiled and waved.

Unbeknownst to her six pairs of eyes followed her out. Draco
Malfoy nodded to Crabbe and Goyle and slowly all three got out of their
chairs and left the hall shortly after.

Sorry its so short a few things have come up and I
have a few commissions to get done so updates probably won’t be as
often nor as long. Sorry.
