Chapter 20
Chapter 20
Epilogue
Three years later:
The kitchen of the burrow looked the same as it always did, the table was covered with serving dishes and the smell of Molly Weasley’s cooking permeated the whole house. Charlie walked into the kitchen dragging an extra large trunk behind him. “Mum!” he shouted.
Molly Weasley walked into the kitchen to greet him, “Charlie, you’re early.”
He laughed, “Well, I had to be here to catch Harry and Arthur when they come through the floo. He still doesn’t have the hang of using floo powder.” Charlie stepped over to the fireplace and waited. A few minutes later, the flames flared green and out fell Harry and little Arthur James Potter-Weasley.
“Arthur, next time we floo, you go with your Papa,” Harry told the small red haired child.
Charlie laughed, “What happened?”
Harry started brushing the small boy off, “When we stepped in, he shouted Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes,” Harry explained. “We ended up in the twin’s office and Arthur ran out into the store. It took me ten minutes to get him away from the canary creams.”
Molly laughed and helped Harry to brush the soot off of his robes. “How is my favorite son-in-law?” she asked.
Harry straightened up and ran his hand over his swollen abdomen, “I’m fine mum, but I think your granddaughter is going to be a beater,” he laughed.
“Are you sure that it’s a girl?” she questioned.
Charlie put his arm around his husband, “No, but Harry is convinced that the baby is a girl.”
“I could do the charm to see,” she told him. “That way you could have a name picked out for her.”
Harry kissed her cheek, “Can we wait till after dinner, I’m starving.”
Molly chuckled and gently led him over to the table. “You go ahead and start eating, I’ll call everyone else to the table.”
She left the kitchen to call the rest of the family to dinner, and a few seconds later they started filing in.
Ron walked into the room, “Oy, Harry, you’re getting huge!”
Harry laughed and quickly swallowed the mouthful of food. “I’m sure that Hermione is about the same size, we are due within days of each other.”
Hermione chose that moment to walk into the room, “Harry, you’re huge!” she said.
Harry looked over at her, taking in the size of her pregnant stomach. “How come you’re not as big as I am?” he asked. “You’re due a few days before me.”
Hermione laughed, “Well, the healer said that I’m quite large for just one baby. I’ve had all of the charms done, we’re having a boy.”
Harry smiled at his friend, “We haven’t had any of the charms done. Mum is going to do them after dinner,” he told her. He smiled at Molly as she walked into the kitchen.
She walked over to the table and kissed her grandson on the head, “How was your week, my sweet boy?”
He looked up at his grandmother and smiled, “We were at school, and Unca Sev let me help him with his potions, he said that I would be good at them if he had anything to do with it. And Unca Albus gave me candy, and aunt Minnie turned into a cat and played with me. Daddy and Papa took me to town with the students and I bought candy and jokes. But the jokes are not as good as Unca Fred and Unca Gorge’s jokes,” he explained to her. “And Unca Albus let me put on the sorting hat, and it told me that I would make a good Gryffingdor.”
Molly chuckled and put a small cup of pumpkin juice in front of the boy. “Well, I’m sure that Uncle Fred and Uncle George will be very happy that you think that their jokes are the best,” she said. She kissed him on the cheek, “And I am positive that you will make a wonderful Gryffindor.” Molly sat down at the table and began filling her plate.

After dinner, the group went into the living room and sat down in front of the fire. “Okay Harry, are you ready for me to cast the charms?” Molly asked him.
“Go ahead mum,” he told her.
Molly waved her wand and almost silently spoke the incantation. A cloud rose from Harry’s stomach and started forming a picture. Harry and Charlie watched as the form separated and became two distinct baby shapes.
“Oh my,” Molly said. “It seems that you’re having twins.”
Charlie looked over at Harry, who was staring at the cloud that showed their babies. “Twins,” he sighed. “Charlie, we’re having twins.”
Molly canceled the spell and spoke a second one, the group watched as one half of Harry’s stomach turned pink and the other blue. “Well, it seems that Harry was half right,” she said. “A boy and a girl.”
Harry threw himself at his husband, “We’re going to have twins, a boy and a girl,” he said with tears in his eyes.
Charlie hugged him, “Maybe one of them will look like you,” he answered.
“I’m glad that we decided not to teach come September, there is nowhere that I would rather raise my children than here at the burrow,” Harry sobbed.
Molly sat down on Harry’s other side, “There is nowhere else we would want you to be,” she stated. “We told you when you got married, you are a part of this family and we wouldn’t want you to be anywhere else.”
Two weeks later, Harry gave birth to Elizabeth Molly Potter-Weasley and Sirius Cedric Potter-Weasley. Both with dark hair, Elizabeth with green eyes and Sirius with warm brown.
The proud grandfather and minister of magic expanded the house to fit the large number of Weasleys that would be born in the future and the ones that were already close to his heart.
