Ginny woke the next morning feeling drowsy, and incredibly anxious. She lay awoke most of the night, the events of the night pouring over and over in her head. Finding Harry snogging with someone else, then to the gay dogs in the forest. It was already 9:30, she missed breakfast.
Hermione came walking in and sat on her bed, looking a little sad.
“Ginny, I’m really sorry about you and Harry, Ron and I really gave it to him at breakfast, when he ditched us to sit at the Slytherin table with Pansy.” Said Hermione.
“You should’ve seen him though, talking up a storm with Draco like they were best friends.” Hermione said.” Really teed Ron off, he walked up and said to Harry don’t know why you went from a step up, to a step down.’ Then harry said soing ing I didn’t catch, and Ron hit him right in the face.” She said.” Then all hell broke loose.”

“ Ron all right?” asked Ginny. “ He’s fine just a bump on his head, he’s in the hospital wing right now.” Replied Hermione. “ You know its funny, after all Harry has been through you’d think he would know how to throw a punch.” Chuckled Hermione.
Ginny let out a small smile.
“So are you going to get up? And come with me to Hogsmead?” Hermione asked.
Ginny gave a look of disinterest. ” Don’rry rry Harry wont be there. He’s suspended from visitations for weeks.” She said.” But unfortunately, so is Ron.”
Ginny nodded and Hermione left, and she got dressed.

They went to Hogsmead; Ginny could tell Hermione was trying to cheer her up. So Ginny pretended to have a good time. They went into the Three Broomsticks, but didn’t sit at the usual table, where the two couples always sat. Ginny couldn’t help but feel sorry for Hermione, because Ron was not here, and she felt like it was her fault.
Dusk finally set and they made there way back to the castle, where the feast was waiting for them. They walked in to the Great Hall, and Ginny looked around for Harry but she couldn’t find him, she looked over at the Slytherin table and he was not there either. Ginny let out a sigh. Knowing that if she saw him over there that souldould surly cry. They sat down, and in no time she was surrounded with Gryffindors asking her how she is holding out. Hermione quickly shooed them away.
Ron just walked in, his face as red as his hair. He came over and sat down by Ginny and Hermione. “ What’s wrong?” Hermione asked. “Nothing” he said quickly looking at Ginny, then back to his girlfriend. “How you doing Gin?” Ron asked
“I wish people would stop asking me that.” Ginny scoffed.” I don’t really fell like eating right now.” Glancing up at the head table then did a double take.
Two of the seats were empty, then she remembered why. One of the seats belonged to Remus Lupin, and it was the second day of the full moon, which meant Professor Lupin was roaming the forest as a werewolf. And the second belonged to Professor Black. Sirius was now clear of all charges, thanks to the downfall of Voldemort the summer before the new term. And Dumbledore being the man he is gave both men jobs as professors. Lupin was the DADA again, and Black the new astronomy teacher (which he is very good at)
‘Black must be with Remus’ thought Ginny;” So do you want to go?” Asked Hermione. “ Huh,.wha? Oh, oh yeah lets go.” Replied Ginny.
They made their way up to the dormitories. Hermione went to her room, and Ginny went to hers. She changed, and crawled in bed. Knowing she would not get any sleep again, she started thinking about Harry. She hated him, but loved him more. She felt like she was in a nightmare and that it would be over soon.
Just then something in her mind clicked, she thought about last night and the two dogs she had seen in the forest. “ Oh my gods! No, no it can’t be, it just can’t have been Sirius and Remus.” Ginny said aloud. Likely for her she was alone. “ But it makes sense. No, no it wasn’t.” Ginny immediately put it out of her mind, just as she heard the other girls come in the room.

The sun rose, Ginny waseadyeady awake and ready. Her stomach growling for food. She went down for breakfast very early, then went to the library to do her homework She stayed in a corner hoping no one would see her.
It was nearing supper when Hermione walked in. “ Ginny, I have been looking every where for you. Have you been in here the whole time?” Asked Hermione. Ginny nodded. “ Why didn’t you come to lunch?” Hermione asked.
“ I wasn’t hungry.” Replied Ginny
“ Ginny you are going to have to face him sometime.”
“ Listen Hermione! Maybe I’m not ready. Maybe I never will be, all I know is I’m sick of people feeling sorry for me, telling me he will get over it, and eventually come back to me. But the funny thing is I don’t think he will. You don’t know what it is like, Ron would never do anything like that to you.” Yelled Ginny, whiched cause a lot of stares and shushes.
Hermione looked at her blankly. “ Look, I’m sorry. I’m just really uptight about things I h I have a lot on my mind.” ”I’ll see you later.” Ginny stood up and walked out the door.
Ginny made her way up to the Gryffindor common room, staring at her feet. She was feeling like she felt really bad at blowing up at Hermione, but she just wish everybody would leave her alone about it. Just then she ran into something hard. She fell backwards and heard the familiar voice.
“ Watch where your going.” The voice said. She looked up into those green eyes.
“Harry, she’s not worth your time.” Came the voice of Pansy. “ Besides I want to get an early start on our’homework’.”
“What was she doing in there? She’s not a Gryffindor. She’s not allowed! Ginny protested.
“ Not that its any of your business, but she was helping me get some of my stuff, you see I will be staying in the Slytherin common room for awhile.” Said Harry. Pansy had a smirk on her face said. “ Seems that he found where he really belongs, and who he belongs to.” She grabbed his face and kissed him, he kissed her back.
They walked away with Ginny standing there tears streaming down her face. She was sure no he would never come back to her, and that she wanted to kill Pansy. She hated both of them now, and wanted to hurt Harry. She wanted revenge, she wanted to make him come back to her, and she was going to use any means necessary.
