Bonus Epilogue (of sorts)

‘You absolute dickhead.’

Hermione and Draco both turned around to see a tall redhead barging towards them and Hermione gulped at the sight of her ex-boyfriend.

‘Sorry?’ Draco asked. Thankfully, the only other people present at the moment were Harry and George.

Ron squared up to Draco. ‘I tell you that she dumped me and then you come back here and jump on top of her the first chance you get?’

‘Ronald!’ Hermione admonished.

But Draco seemed unfazed. ‘Yeah, that sounds about right, Weasley,’ he said calmly while taking a sip of his drink.

Ron’s eyes widened and then he turned to Hermione. ‘You actually want to marry this git?’

Hermione cleared her throat nervously. ‘Well, it is our engagement party.’

Ron looked back at Draco. ‘I just thought there was some code, you know, after that night we shared?’

Harry spluttered out his own drink. ‘Excuse me, what?’

‘Don’t,’ Draco said, his voice going eerily soft and menacing.

‘Oh, you didn’t tell her?’ Ron asked with a grin. ‘What happened between us when we ran into each other in Australia?’

Hermione turned to Draco with her eyes wide. ‘Draco, what is he talking about? You told me you had a few drinks with him at the pub?’

Ron gave a dark smile. ‘But he didn’t tell you what happened after that, did he?’

Draco grabbed the front of Ron’s robes and pulled him closer to himself. ‘I told you never to tell anyone.’

But Ron smirked a smirk to rival one of Draco’s best. ‘I think she deserves to know, before you tie her down to marriage. How you partook in an activity with me so debauched that you can barely stand the thought of it now.’

Hermione was now reeling, trying to figure out what Ron was talking about, and Harry and George looked just as confused. Draco looked murderous. ‘Ron, tell me now!’ she said.

Draco shook his head but Ron grinned. ‘You’ll never think of him in the same way again,’ he warned.

‘I was drunk and you said it would stay between us,’ Draco said through clenched teeth.

‘Ronald!’ Hermione threatened.

‘Alright, alright,’ Ron conceded, bending closer in and the others all did the same. Then he said in a conspiratorial whisper while Draco groaned loudly in embarrassment. ‘We…sang karaoke together.’
