Two Red Heads
Fantasy or Reality
Severus Snape walked into the library, he had to return a book from the Restricted Section before the end of the year. He handed 'Ancient Magical Tortures' back to Madam Pince. Severus wondered if he could find a copy in Knockturn Alley this summer.
"So you had it this whole time," Sera said from behind him. Severus turned around and looked at her strangely. "I've been waiting since Christmas to take that book out."
"Oh, I had no idea someone else would find it that interesting," Severus said. "I also could have sworn I returned it back then, but I found it in my trunk earlier." Sera looked at Madam Pince.
"Sorry," Madam Pince said. "Students leave school in two days. No more books can be taken out this year."
Severus watched as Sera walked off to look at other books, Madam Pince was already bringing it back to the Restricted Section. Severus found himself following Sera off into the stacks. She sat in a window seat and pulled a book from the shelf on her left. That is when she noticed him and looked right at him.
"Snape?" Sera asked.
"I could tell you about the book," Severus found himself saying.
"I've already read it," Sera said. "I just want to look at it again."
Severus blinked and just stared at her, he may have talked to Turnus about this stuff; but he was the only Slytherin he knew who actually read these books. So it was strange to find another who did, let alone girl.
Sera opened the book and tucked her long red hair behind her ear. Severus found himself staring, maybe Turnus was right, maybe he did just have a thing for red hair. His brain kept telling him that he had things in common with her and she was pretty. He had never really thought of any other girl as pretty, other than Lily, before this. Then he noticed what she was reading, it was a book called 'Magical Moral Perspective'.
"Is that book any good?" Severus asked.
"It's alright," Sera said. "Not my first choice though."
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Severus asked before he could stop himself. Sera looked very confused.
"No," Sera said. Severus sat down next to her. She looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.
Next thing Severus knew, he leaned in and kissed her. Sera was very caught off guard at first. She stared wide at him when stopped, but she never stopped him or complained. So Severus went in and kissed her again and this time she kissed back. At some point during all the kissing, the book dropped to the floor, and she had climbed into his lap. The two made out in the library window seat, and Severus felt his pants get tighter.
