Open Waters

Part 2

Swain looked around at all and shouted, “QUIET!!!” He noticed that all voices stopped yelling and
although their mouths moved no sound was coming out.

Jennifer noticed that her voice was taken from her and the others. She turned toward Swain and glared
at him.

Swain looked to the ground guiltily. He said, "return but softer." The voices returned but at a softer
sound. He said, "You voices will return to normal when you talk and do not yell. is that understood?"

Jennifer and the others nodded their heads.

Swain said, "Now what is this fight about? Do at least say it in a calm tone."

Buffer said, "They just found out the main rule for magic here. They started yelling at Jennifer as if
it was all her fault."

Swain said, "That order was is place for over a hundred years. Jennifer and myself have to watch who we
show our magic to because show the wrong person and you can be killed. People with magical abilities here
in Australia have been hunted just for being different." He turned to Jennifer and said, "Jenn, do you
think that you can get the older ones jobs at NavCom?"

Jennifer replied, "I can. There is always a need for Interns at NavCom." Jennifer noticed that Severus
was waking up. She continued, "Harry and Draconis will have to be put in muggle school but be taught
magic by all of us here. If we want the children to have full magical education then we would have to
homeschool them. That idea is unlikely as I work 10 hours a day and Pete along with Chris are gone for
20 days at a time."

The others nodded.

An owl arrived at the house and landed on the perch. It was carrying a message for Swain and knew
that no access to the Blake house means he is at the sweet lady's house. All Postal owls loved Jennifer
because she talked to them knowing that each owl has its own feelings. She call him Screech because
when she never paid attention to him he would Screech at her. He noticed that Jennifer was engaged and
not paying him any mind. He screeched at her.

Jennifer smiled as everyone covered their ears. She walked over to the owl and said kindly, "Hello
Screech. Sorry about the noise but as you see the household is more full. Thank you for delivering
the post. Here is your snack." She handed the owl a treat and said, "If you notice that there is
posts for Remus Lupin-Black, Sirius Black, Harry Black-Snape, Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, or
Draconis Malfoy please deliver the post here to me." The owl hooted in understanding and she
concluded, "Thank you again Screech. Be sure to tell the others my command. Go have fun." The owl
flew away.

Lucius said, "Jenn what was that about? You getting our posts."

Jennifer handed the note to Swain. She said, "Lucius it is for your own safety. It being delivered here
I can deem if it is safe for you to read or not. I will not risk the lives of my nephew and godson again."

Swain said, "Jenn, I must report back to the ministry Webb was attacked by a muggle. I will be back
later if I can." He walked to the floo and left.

Jennifer said to Buffer, "Pete can you go find out from NavCom HQ what you can about the attack?"

Buffer nodded and walked out of the house a little mad that Spider was hurt. He cared for Spider as a
little brother. He slammed the door a little too hard forgetting that their houseguests are fear driven.

Draco and Harry latched on to their fathers. Draco latched onto Lucius as Harry tightened his hold on
Remus.

Jennifer said, "Everyone sit down. I am sure the International floo network is still playing havoc on
your systems." She noticed that Draco and Harry were showing massive panic. She walked over to Lucius
and said to Draco, "Here now Draconis what is all of this about?"

Draco said softly, "that man who left is mad at me."

Jennifer smiled softly and said, "Oh Draconis no. Pete is mad that someone hurt a shipmate Pete sees
as a brother."

Draco mouths, 'Oh.'

Harry feeling a little more brave said, "Excuse me but I am a little hungry."

Jennifer looked at the clock as an idea formed in her head about how to calm Harry and Draco. She
gasped in horror as she noticed the time. She said, "Oh my Lord. I am such a terrible hostess. Here
it is near my bedtime and I have not fed my family. Oh my Lord. My nephew is starving. You all should
just tell me to shut up and go make some food when I start to babble too much. That way my nephew and
my godson does not have to starve."

Lucius was trying hard to keep a straight face and noticed that Remus was doing the same. They knew
this tactic very well as both had fell prey to it many times on visits to Jennifer. She always did
this to make them laugh and they knew she would not stop until the boys were laughing hard.

Jennifer rose to her feet and said, "Next time just say Aunt Jenn make some food. That way I don't
fall and end up hurt. Now I have to rush. I cannot have my nephew and godson starving." She ran and
pretended to trip into the kitchen.

Harry and Draco started laughing when Jennifer tripped into the kitchen.

Draco was laughing so hard that some of the pain returned from their attack.

Severus was looking in one of his trunks for a pain potion for Draco. He frowned when he realised that he
would have to brew more of it.

A potion appeared in the hand of a house elf.

Harry noticed that this elf was different from other he had seen.

In the kitchen Jennifer was finishing the soup for Harry and Draco. Knowing full well that with the potions
they are taking that is all the food their stomachs will allow. She walked out of the kitchen to set the
dining table for those who were in the house and those who would be arriving soon. She noticed the elf
and smiled.

There was a knock at the door. Jennifer walked away from the table and said, "Thank you Grady. That will
help the children. Now muggles are here return to your rooms."

Grady bowed low and vanished.

Jennifer walked to the door and opened it. She said to the people outside, "Welcome to my home Commader
Marshall and Captain Flynn. Please come in."

The two men walked in and closed the door. Mike Flynn said, "Is Buffer here?"

Jennifer shook her head and said, "He went to HQ after Spider was attacked. Do you know who attacked him?"

Mike nodded his head, "2Dads."

Jennifer groaned, "Oh great. What happens now? You both are welcome to stay and have dinner. I am sure Pete will
be back soon. Oh. Introductions first. Commander Marshall and Captain Flynn these are my family and friends from
England. My cousin Remus," Remus nodded, "his life partner Sirius Black," Sirius did the same, "Remus' son
Harry," Harry waved shyly at them, "Harry's life partner Severus," Severus nodded his head. Jennifer point to
the other couch and continued, "My Long time friend Lucius Malfoy," Lucius angled his head in greeting, "and
his son my godson Draconis Malfoy." Draco leaned into his father more. Jennifer said, "Guys this is Head of
NavCom Commander Marshall and Captain of the Hammersley Captain Mike Flynn."

A car door slammed shut outside and Jennifer ran outside knowing that Buffer knows what happened to Spider. She
also knew that Buffer angry like that would scare and undo what she done to calm Harry and Draco down.

Buffer slammed the taxi's door shut after paying for it. He was mad that 2Dads would do that to Spider just for
being different. He noticed Jennifer looking mad at him. He walked up to the door only to be stopped by Jennifer.

Jennifer saw Buffer's eyes and she stopped him from entering the house. She said in a low tone to Buffer, "Pete
stay out here until you are calm enough to not scare Harry and Draco again." She turned and walked back into the
house.

Buffer noticed that he might of in his worry about Spider scared his nephew. That thought made him feel bad and
he tried to calm his thoughts. When he felt he was calm enough, he entered the house.

Draco at seeing the door open again whimpered and held tighter onto Lucius.

Buffer seeing Draco and Harry being scared of him realised how they must of thought the worst. He walked over to
the couch where Draco and Lucius were. He said softly to Draco only, "I am sorry that you thought I was mad at
you. Listen how about a do over?"

Draco nodded and smiled.

Buffer walked over to Harry and said the same to him. He was relieved when Harry hugged him.

Jennifer walked out of the kitchen and smiled at the sight. She cleared her throat and said, "Dinner is served.
Come and eat." The others rose and all but Draco made it to the table.

Draco stood but his feet refused to budge. He groaned not knowing what happened.

Jennifer looked at Draco worried and she said, "Are you alright Draconis?"

Draco tried to nod his head but the room started spinning. He passed out.

Mike seeing the boy go down grabbed him before he hit the floor.

Lucius got worried when he saw his son go down but was relieved that someone was there to save Draco from more
injuries.

Jennifer ran to Mike and took Draco from him. She rose and said, "You all eat. Draconis and myself will return
in a minute." She carried Draco into a bedroom and placed him on the bed. She sat down and said, "Now tell me
the truth Draconis when was the last time you ate anything?"

Draco whimpered and said, "three days."

She shook her head and rose. She walked out of the room and went into the dining room. She grabbed Harry's arm
and picked him up with ease. She turned to the adults and said, "Trust me I know what I am doing. Remus it is
for his own good." After saying that Jennifer walked out of the room with Harry.

She opened the door to the room where Draco was. She carried Harry in and sat him down in a chair. She
said, "Harry tell me the truth when was the last time you ate anything?"

Harry looked down and said, "one week ago."

Jennifer sighed and shook her head. She said, "Why?"

Draco and Harry said together, "Albus used truth serum in our food."

Jennifer said, "How is that possible?"

Harry said, "Draco made the Nutrient potions for us."

Jennifer said, "Harry that potion is only used to supplement your diet. No wonder you both are so weak at the
moment. Your bodies are eating themselves. The others need to know." She walked out of the room leaving Harry
and Draco in the room.

Jennifer reentered the dining room and said, "Lucius and Remus follow me please." She left and noticed that they
were not following her. She shouted, "NOW!"

Remus and Lucius walked into the hallway and stood before Jennifer.

Lucius said, "What is wrong with my son?"

Remus said, "Jennifer why take Harry away from the food?"

Jennifer held up her hand to stop their questions. She said, "Harry and Draconis has starved themselves to near death.
Draconis confided in me that he has not ate anything from the school for three days. Harry however was a longer time
without food."

Lucius and Remus looked stunned that their children were starving themselves. Remus said, "How long was it for Harry?
Why?"

Jennifer sighed and said, "It has been about a week. They both confided in me that Albus was slipping truth serum
in their food."

Lucius said, "How could we not know?"

Jennifer said not noticing Severus joined them, "Draconis has been supplying them both with Nutrient potions."

Severus said, "Do they not know that is only for assisstance to a food plan not to take place of food?"

Jennifer jumped and said, "They do now. They also know that their bodies are eating the organs for food. We
have to reintroduce food slowly and small bites." She grabbed the door handle and said, "Be mad at Albus not
them."

Lucius said, "My son is too important to me."

Remus and Severus were nodding their heads.

Jennifer opened the door. They all walked in and Jennifer said, "Lucius, take Draconis to the table and give
him a third of the bowl of soup. Remus you and Severus do the same to Harry." She walked back to the dining
room only to be stopped by Commander Marshall and Mike Flynn.

Mike says, "We will take our leave."

Jennifer nodded and said, "I have something to talk to you about Commander Marshall." The man nodded his head.

Jennifer walked out with Mike Flynn and NavCom Commander Marshall.

Back in the dining room, Sirius said, "What is going on?"

Harry said softly, "Draco and I have not been eating at Hogwarts."

After Draco ate five spoonfuls of soup he said, "Father I am full."

Harry ate only three spoons of soup and said, "Severus I can not eat anymore."

Sirius said, "Harry you will eat," He did not see Jennifer enter and continued, "every bit of that soup or
you will not leave the table until it is all....." Sirius flew into the wall.

Jennifer waved her arm at Sirius and growled, "Calm yourself or I will force you to calm down. Harry is
full then he does not have to eat anymore." She smiled and said, "Severus in that room was Harry's there
is a bathroom in it. Lucius across the hall is the guest room you and Draconis can use that for the night.
Next to the guest room is your room Remus. I am going to eat and then relax a bit. Harry and Draconis will
be getting tired real fast."

Harry yawned and shook his head. Severus walked Harry to their room for a nice hot bath.

Draco did not argue when Lucius walked him to the guest bedroom.

Remus carried Sirius to their room.

Jennifer collapsed on the couch when the bedroom doors were closed. She covered her eyes.

Buffer seeing the worry lines appear on his wife's beautiful face became angry. He walked over to the
couch and lifted her head. He sat down and placed her head on his leg.

She relaxed as she felt her husband rub her temples.
