At Rainbows End

The next morning when Hermione woke up she dressed in her school uniform and headed to the great hall for breakfast but was stopped when she entered the common room. She could see Malfoy sitting by the fire reading a book from the shelves. She wanted to stop and thank him for what he had done the night before but wasn't sure of how to go about doing it. Instead she just whispered a “Good morning Malfoy.” and left.

Breakfast went by uneventful and boring as she sat at the table and pushed her food around her plate with the fork not wanting to eat. Most of the day went by the same until she got to her last class which was DADA with Lucius. She took a seat at the back of the room hoping that she wouldn't be noticed to much and that he would just leave her alone throughout the class. Alas, she had no such luck.

As Lucius was teaching the class Hermione was becoming more inraged by the second. When he would 'demonstart' a spell he would always choose a student that wasn't in Slytherin because they were usually spells that hurt. He seemed to love turturing Neville which really made her mad. By the near of end of class he decided that it was her turn and as he smirked and called her name she knew it was going to be horrible.

“Miss. Granger, I am now going to demonstrate the Impuris on you. It shouoldn't be to bad, seeing as we are in school.” He smirked and raised his wand.

“Wait! You can't do that, it's an unforgivable and you aren't allowed to teach it.” She replied walking backwards away from him knocking into his desk.

“Oh but things have changed and it is now possible for me to do these spells with you. I am now in charge of what spells I use and teach, wihtout conseguence.” He then raised his wand again but before he could cast the spell she yelled a curse at him and sent him flying to the wall as the class ended and she ran for the door.

As she reached the door it flew shut and locked trapping her inside without any way out. She was starting to worry as he walked slowly towards her with a very pissed off lock on his face. She went to use her wand again when it flew out of her grip and into his while he smirked and laughed at the scared look on her face.

“You will pay for you did, mudblood. You have detention with me tonight at eight. Also tomorrow in class you let me do this spell on you or you will be ihn detention with me for the rest of the year.” His smirk grew wider as he approched her and she was agaisnt the wall.

As Lucius got to her he put his arms upby her shoulders so she couoldn't get away and leaned down smelling her hair. He then let out a soft growl before licking down her neck. She knew there was no way out and let silent tears start to fall from her eyes and let a small scream out as she felt him bite into her flesh and then felt him laugh against her. She then closed her eyes waiting for him to continue but instead heard something crash to the floor.

When she opened her eyes she could see him lying on the floor unconscince but when she looked around there was no else in the room and the door was still shut and locked. Not wanted to wait around until he woke up she hurridly grabbed her wand and ran from the room going right for the heads rooms and completely skipping dinner.

When she entered the heads dorm she didn't stop until she was in her room with her doors shut and locked with different charms and spells. She hadn't even noticed that Malfoy and few others where in the dorm doing some homework that they had. She staied in her room until it was almost time for her to go back to the dungens for her detention.

When she was heading out to go down to leave she heard voices coming from Malfoys room and she couldn't help but stop and listen. She soon found out that Draco was talking to Snape about soemthing that seemed important.

“Listen Draco, you mustn't let him get to her. She is important to the downfall of the Dark Lord.” Snape was saying and she wondered who he was talking about.

“How am I supposed to do that? We don't even like eachother. We haven't said anything to eachother, not even after I saved her from him last night. I don't understan, why can't you keep him at bay?” Draco asked not looking in the eyes of his godfather.

“I can't, the Dark Lord has told him that he could do whatever he pleases with her and I am to just stand by and let it happen. I cannot defy him again or he'll kill me.”

“I just don't know how I'm going to do this.”

“Figure it out.”

And that was the end of the converstation and she could hear feet coming her way and she ran down and sat on the couch pretending she had been reading when Snape entered. He nodded to her before leaving and Draco entered the room and sat down also not saying anything. They sat in silence for a moment until she had to leave.

“Where are you going?” He asked looking up at her with narrow eyes.

“Not that it's any of your business but I have detention with your father and I can't be late. If you haven't noticed he's kinda got it out for me.” She repiled and walked out the door.

As Hermione walked down the halls she was unaware of someone following close behinde her. She walked fast until she came aross the hall that led to Malfoys classroom, then she slowed and almost stopped. That's when she knew someone was behind her, he ran right into her.

“What the hell Malfoy?!” She yelled steeping away from him.

“I have detantion also. Don't be so surprised, I can still get into trouble.” He then just walked by her and into the classroom. She slowly followed behind. 'This should be intresting.' She thought as she entered the class.

Ok well thats it for now. I wont be able to post for a while, my brother-in-law has to borrow my computer but when I get it back I will update again.
