Chapter One

(Midsummer Blues)

They already received their grades, their supply list, and whatever extra their professors wanted them to have.

However, when they received a suspicious looking letter with the headmaster’s usual stamp, they knew one thing.

Something is going to happen and they won’t like it.

“What does the letter say, Hermione?” Ginny asked since no one else opened their letters.

Hermione carefully pulled the letter open and read it with precision eyes. After she reached the end of the brief letter, she looked at the other occupants at the table.

“We have another class to take this year.” Was all she said, passing the note to Ginny’s outreached hand.

The youngest Weasley read the letter herself and pouted. “That’s not fair, it’s only for seventh year students.”

“What isn’t fair, Ginny?” Ron inquired.

She gave him the letter this time since they probably were all the same. “You guys get to do a performance art class.”

“Performance what?”

Hermione sighed. “Performance art, Ron, you know music, dancing, and drama. We have to do it this year.”

“Why?”

“It’s a requirement, Ron. Stop asking questions and just accept the fact we have another subject to add to our timetable.” She snapped, tired of hearing the boy whine over everything.

She had to listen to it all summer and she refused to hear it now.

“I don’t want to take some girly class! It has nothing to do with my future career. Do you think the Cannons want someone who pranced around in a tutu to be their Keeper?” He protested, which started the argument about being sexist between him and Hermione.

Harry who kept quiet during the conversation opened his letter and looked at it.

He noticed that there was something attached to it. Taking it off, he realized it was the supply list.

A really long supply list…
