A/N: Thanks for the reviews. I know poor Ginny. But to answer your question. No one from the wizarding world was allowed to know where they lived. Thank you I wasn’t sure if my Blaise would be good enough or not. But I’ll get more into Hermione later on, maybe in this chapter.

The next day at work was a hard one for Ginny; she was constantly looking around her, watching her back, hoping that Blaise wouldn’t show up. She didn’t want to see him after the embarrassment of the night before. It was lunch and so far her luck had held out, she had met up with Hermione who had just came back from the muggle world; they had decided to go to a small coffee shop next to the ministry for lunch. Not that many people went there, Ginny was thankful for that.

“Hermione I need to tell you something.”

Hermione put her tea down and looked at her friend. “Go ahead; you know you can tell me anything, Gin.”

Ginny nodded. “I went out last night. Got pretty wasted. And slept with someone.”

Hermione laughed. “Is that all? I thought you were going to say you and Harry got married or something.”

Ginny’s eyes darkened and she had to grit her teeth to calm her nerves. “No Harry and I did not get married and we never will.”

Her friends eyebrows knitted together. “What do you mean? You promised each other you would both wait for the other.”

“Tell that to him. He went off and married Luna Bloody Lovegood and they’re expecting their first child. I have no reason to speak to him nor do I want to.”

“Then who did you sleep with?”

Ginny leaned over the table so she could whisper her response to Hermione without anyone hearing. “Blaise Zabini.”

The cup of tea that Hermione had been drinking hit the floor and shattered, spilling its contents across the floor. “Who? What?”

“Shhhh… Merlin Hermione, I don’t want everyone to know.” she used her wand to clean up the mess and put the cup back together. “I know it’s not right, I was drunk.” she paused and reminisced on the only thing she could remember. “But you should have heard him this morning; he was almost professing his love for me. I’ve been on edge all day because he said he would see me at work today.”

Hermione blushed as she saw the man behind Ginny but was too late to warn her. “So now you’re gossiping about me, Miss Weasley? Was I that good?”

Ginny squeaked and turned to see Blaise behind her. Her eyes darkened with anger. “Are you stalking me now?” she pulled him down into the empty chair between her and Hermione. “Listen, just because we slept together last night does not mean that you have any right to follow me around. We are not dating; we are not even seeing each other. It was just a lapse in my better judgment.”

“For your information I eat here every day for lunch, you can ask your waiter, and two I never said we were dating nor seeing each other. Three you don’t have to be so harsh, it’s not my fault that you got drunk or had sex with you.” he got up at that moment and went to his own table in the back of the restaurant.

“Tsk tsk tsk.” Hermione clicked her tongue and waved her finger at Ginny. “How can you hurt the poor man so? He is so gorgeous. Don’t you see that Ginny?”

Ginny blushed. “Yes I see it, and I didn’t mean to hurt him.”

Hermione rolled her eyes, never one for fibbing and running around the truth. “Just get over Harry, obviously her didn’t love you enough to wait for you like you did. For Merlin’s sake you lived with a man for 5 years and didn’t even touch him like that. He wasn’t even living with Luna and they got married. He had a loose heart and apparently forgot about you.”

A tear streaked down Ginny’s cheek. “That’s why I’ve always loved you. You cut right to the chase whether it hurts or not.” she glanced over to Blaise and then back to Hermione. “Do you think I should go over and talk to him?”

Hermione giggled. “Yes. Go. I’ll be fine here. He needs you Ginny, especially since you broke his heart just now.”

Ginny slowly got up and turned towards Blaise’s table. “What do I say to him? I can’t just apologize it wouldn’t be enough.”

“Merlin, Ginny, what happened to the fiery red headed Gryffindor you used to be? Figure it out on your walk over there I’m sure you’ll come up with something. Just don’t worry about it so much.”

She nodded and left her friend to speak with her enemy. It felt like it took her days to reach that table but still within that time she hadn’t figured out what to say to him.

“I do not need your pity, Weasley; you can go back to your table and have lunch with Granger.”

Ginny ignored his words and sat in front of him. “I didn’t come to give you my pity, Zabini, I came to apologize. Though I’m not sure how to make up for what I said.” she paused and took the time to look into his eyes. “You have to understand that things with me haven’t gone as I have hoped for. And I took it out on you, for that I hope you can forgive me.”

A smirk fell across his face. “I know what you came back to. I understand that you had given your heart to Harry and he broke it by marrying that loony woman Luna and that they are expecting their first child.” he saw her despair in her eyes. “I’m sorry I don’t mean to hurt you. And I understand that you only found out yesterday about him, but don’t think that just because we were drunk that what we did meant nothing. Not once last night did you call me Harry, of course you never called me by my name but you never even mentioned him. Not while you were drunk nor while we were having sex.”

“What makes you think that I wasn’t still thinking about him?”

He gave her a hard look before he chuckled. “What do you remember from last night?”

She blushed and looked down at her hands that were resting on the table, folded within each other. “Nothing.”

He chuckled again. “See.” he reached across the table and took her hands in his gently rubbing circles on the palm with his thumb. “I care for you Ginny, I have since school, nothing has changed.” with that he leaned across the table and kissed her soundly on the lips.
