chapter 2
Remus said, “I’m going to take him shopping for that new wardrobe.”
Harry looked up and said, You know Remus, he said you need a new wardrobe as well. While we’re at it I want to get our hair done and get contacts. A whole new look!” He finished with a smirk that reminded Remus of Sirius or James plotting and groaned. It was going to be a long day.
Harry got up and grabbed Remus’ wrist and said, “Come on, and Tonks meet us at floaren’s at one.” then he dragged Remus out the door and down the hall out of hearing range before he burst out laughing. Remus joined in laughing a second later and it took them about five minutes to gain control of themselves. Once under control Remus said, “It doesn’t look like I need to teach you much. I thought you were serious about our hair, their faces were priceless!”
Harry looked at the still chuckling man and said, “I was Remus but now they think I’ve lost my mind to the grief but I’m taking Sirius advice to heart and living my life. Now come on lets go to our vaults we are also going to need a lot of muggle money as well as several galleons. I also need to see what Sirius left me in vault 917.”
With that they went to a teller station and Harry had an idea. He beat Remus to talking to the goblin first and asked, “Is there a way we can withdraw money without coming here like a muggle debit card or something?”
The teller looked surprised for a second then said, “We have muggle credit cards that will withdraw straight from your vault. If you give your vault number to any of the stores here in the ally they can withdraw straight from your vault as well but anywhere else you will need galleons for.”
“Alright, Remus and I would both like a card and need to visit our vaults as well.”
The goblin pulled out two muggle credit cards and said, “You will each need to put a drop of blood on the card then it will be operational and fully activated.”
They did as told and their picture showed up. The teller then handed the card to the respective owners and snapped hhis fingers and Griphook showed up to take them to their vaults. So Harry said, “Thank you sir, hello Griphook how are you today?”
“I’m fine Mr. Potter.” Griphook replied slightly surprised.
Harry said, “Please, just call me Harry.”
The first vault they stopped at was 917. Once the vault was opened Harry smiled widely and Remus mumbled, “Damn you Sirius, you mangy wretched cur!” but Harry heard him and hid a smirk as they both walked in to look at the three pristine and personalized motorcycles. Harry found a note on the middle bike addressed to him. Taking the note he started reading it
Dear Harry,
This one is the same as mine I wanted to give this to you on your 16th birthday but now is good too. The other two you see are for Bella and Moony. Take them with you to St. Louis. I had them personalized so yours has a snitch, Moony’s Has a howling wolf, and Bella’s has a bell with a sexy woman figure on it. Tap them once with your wand and they shrink. Tap them twice and they restore themselves. Before you shrink yours though there is a few things to know. They are the following:
You have ten extra bikes in you saddle bags including personalized ones for Tonks, Hermione, and my original bike
The original marauder record book is in your saddle bags you should take that to read on the plane ride.
You have fake licenses and all the legal stuff incase you get pulled over and cant obliviate the cop just add a drop of blood to the license.
There is a cell phone in the bag with some pre programmed numbers in it. When you get to St. Louis you should call Anita Blake because A) you have a house next door to her B) she knows everything about us both and she is super hot. Oh yeah I almost forgot to add C) she is also your godmother.
Speaking of cops as I was above if you run into a guy named Zerbrowski tell him Sirius said, “You owe me 20 dollars” and to give it to you. Anita will help you learn muggle self-defense which is very helpful. Most importantly have some fun and pull pranks with any justice we can watch from the great beyond. I love you kiddo. Take care of yourself
The Almighty Sex God-Sirius
Tears were leaking down his face and after Harry stopped gapping at the letter he handed it to Remus silently. As Remus was reading the note Harry shrunk Bella’s bike and put it in his saddle bags then took out the phone and book mentioned in the not then shrunk his bike and stuck it in his pocket as Remus came up behind him and hugged him. They both had tears in their eyes. Harry wiped his face clean taped Remus’ bike then handed it to the man then decided to just get the galleons out of this vault. He put 2,000 galleons in his bottomless bag. They then climbed back in the cart, made a quick stop at Remus’ vault for him to get some galleons for the rest of the summer. Then they were back in the lobby to Grinngots. Harry looked at the clock and saw it was 12:30 so he decided he had time before he had to meet Tonks.
