Chapter 2: Diagon Alley Reveals A secret
The next morning just as the sun began to rise Draco awoke to write to Ginny before his parents could catch him and sent his eagle owl out with the letter. Then began to prepare for the day he would share with his beloved Ginny, which included a letter to Pansy and his families other letter owl was off moments after his own eagle owl. As he did so he thanked anyone he could think of for helping him make the choice to go back to school in the fall because now he would be able to finish school with Ginny and spend time with her with less worry of being caught as the castle was large
Two hours later Ginny was awaken by a soft tapping at her window and was greeted by the sight of Draco’s huge eagle owl a letter clasped firmly in its beak. Opening the window she took the letter and the owl quickly flew off back to Draco, she tore it open to read:
My Dearest Ginny,
I hope this letter finds you well, I missed so much last night and I still do, I was hoping you could meet me at 10 am at the corner between knockturn Alley and Diagon Alley. I’ve told father I’m going to meet Pansy who’s agreed to cover for me as I guess she wants to meet with the man she has been secretly seeing for several months. I’ll see you soon darling; I’m counting down the minutes until we can be together again

Ginny grinned quickly burning the letter as much as she would of like to have kept it she knew it unwise to do so. She rushed to get ready once downstairs she told her mother she was going to Diagon Alley to finish getting things she’d forgot to buy for school and that she may go buy herself something special with the money she had saved over the summer.
She then flooed to Diagon Alley once there she used a simple spell to remove the soot from her dress; then walked to the corner she was to meet Draco at, as she neared her smile grew Draco was already there looking even more handsome then the night before if that was possible. He was wearing a silk red shirt with black slacks and shiny black loafers; his hair too was different slightly gelled to small spikes instead of completely slicked back
She didn’t know it but Draco had already spotted her and watched as she approached. His eye’s roved her entire body in the beautiful green summer dress she wore that hugged all of her beautiful curves. When she was finally close enough to nearly grab him she made sure no one was paying attention before she launched herself against him, he smiled as he pulled her deeper into the shadows of the alley way and thoroughly kiss her nipping playfully at her bottom lip with his teeth, making a soft whimper leave her slightly bruised lips
He then pulled away still grinning as he rested his forehead against hers and said
“Ah Ginny how I’ve missed you so much, now are you ready to have a day of being totally spoiled where you’ll lack nothing”
She smiled after a minute still breathing a little hard before saying
“Draco you don’t have to try and impress me by buying me things especially expensive things I love you no matter what and that is all that I care about you're all I want to never lack”
He was shocked at her words no other girl he had dated cared for him as a person they just wanted him to spoil them and buy then expensive gifts, he bent his head again to kiss her hungrily as he pressed her against the brick wall of a building in the alley causing her to whimper with pleasure her body wriggling against him and her hands locked around his neck
After a few moments he released her they then left the safety of the shadows and walked to Madam Mulkin’s robe shop since Ginny needed to have a few of her robes altered. She attempted to protest when Draco ordered three new robes for her to be delivered to the school at the start of term, and when he spotted her eyeing a white silk dress robe with gold thread embroidery he purchased that quieting any protest with a firm but pleasant kiss
They then went to buy new quills and parchment which again Draco paid for, at Flourish and Blott’s Draco finally allowed Ginny to use her own money to purchase her remaining school books then a few books she wanted to read for entertainment. She then made her way back to Draco who was standing in a corner waiting for her he smiled kissing her what neither realized was that someone had seen them in their private corner kissing and waited to approach until they saw Ginny walking to the fire obviously to floo home
Hermione tapped her friends shoulder saying
“Ginny?”
When she turned a look of shock was etched on her face
“What in the name of Merlin were you doing kissing Malfoy, and don’t try to play coy with me girlie I saw it with my own two eyes”
Ginny didn’t know why but Hermione’s statement made her very angry maybe it was the way she said Draco’s last name but she responded attempting to hide the sarcasm though it was still pretty obvious she was mad, the biting responese to her question was that Hermione was not use to from the usually docile Ginny
“First Hermione his name is not Malfoy, it's Draco, secondly it’s not really your business but it’s only natural I kiss the man I love who’s also my boyfriend”
Hermione’s mouth dropped open in shock
“The man you……but its Mal…Draco’s family hate yours”
She laughed sarcastically
“It’s true our fathers hate each other and even my brothers hate him, but Draco and I realized the fight was stupid and petty, Draco loves me despite my being poor, and I’ve come to realize I love him despite his father’s past and the life he tried to force on Draco”
Her gaze soften at her best friend
“Hermione I’m not asking you to understand this really or to even totally accept it right now, I just need you to keep my secret for me, and later if you’re feeling up to it help me by covering for me”
Hermione could see the desperate plea in her friend’s eyes, and nodded slowly
“I’ll do what I can, but for now I’m still worried I know your father would hit the roof if he ever found out”
Ginny squealed hugging Hermione tightly
“We both know father would hit the roof if he found out, I’ll come over to your house next week to tell you everything, and thank you again so much you have no idea how much this will mean to Draco and I”
She then turned back to the fire place to floo home where she securely enlarged all of her special gifts and placed them safely in her school trunk
