Disclaimer:
All Harry Potter persons and events are property of JK Rowling and Warner Bros I therefore own NOTHING to do with Harry Potter. This fiction written in 2009 will make NO money what so ever I just enjoy playing with them and I promise to put them back.
The mystery continues
Draco Malfoy smiled as he placed the second handwritten letter in to the envelope.
He was still unsure as to his fathers motives just yet but he had noticed a dramatic change in the older wizard of late for example he had stopped refering to Muggle borns as Mudbloods, in fact he seemed extremly tolerant of Muggles in general and it had been a shock to Draco when his father had suggested they helpped the Granger girl after the loss of her mother.
Looking up and towards Lucius, Draco silently handed him the unsealed letter and Lucius slipped another small silver key in between the folds of parchment then he sealed the envelope and placed an old family crest in the melted wax before taking it to a huge barn owl and attaching it to the birds leg opening the window for her to fly out he brifely stroked her head.
"To The Burrow for Miss Granger if you please Ivy" then the bird was gone.
Turning he found Draco looking at him clearly puzzled.
"Why are we doing this Father?" he asked.
Lucius didn't want to give answers just yet so he simply said "you will learn in time Draco, goodnight" then he left the room leaving Draco wondering behind him.
Earlier that day Hemione, Harry and Ron walked in to Gringott's bank approaching a Goblin that look particularly mean Hermione cleared her throat. The Goblin glared down at her from it's high stool "can I help you?" it said with a squeek that made Hermoine think of Professor Flitwick and she felt a surge of warmth for the creature.
"Yes please Sir, I have come to see vault 647"
With a slight raise of it's left eyebrow was the only hint of surprise that the Goblin showed then climbing from it's stool it said " Very well follow me"
