When two worlds collide

Chapter one- Enter the Muggle


When Louise awoke on Monday morning, she did not know just how much her life was about to change. She was a average Australian girl, lived in a normal house with her boyfriend, cat and dog. She was happy having bought a house and they were trying for a family. Having a Monday to Friday job was the icing on the cake. Of course Louise did not know that her government had put her name on the list of muggles to be married of to a wizard that was matched to her. She did not know that after today her life would never be the same. Louise liked to read and one of her favorite past times was reading Harry Potter fan fiction and books. She knew that would did not exist, but it was too easy to loose herself in a world where magic was real, the bad guys were hot and teenager's always saved the day.

Though highly disappointed in how the author ended the story, Louise had always felt there could of been more. And would be found many a night re-writing the ending as did million of other fans. There wasn't a time that she had not fallen into a fantasy about a one Lucius Malfoy or the dark misunderstood Severus Snape. Plenty of times she wanted to Box Harry and Ron in the head and scream that Hermione needed to be with a man not a boy.

So it was on this normal Monday the Louise got up showered, had breakfast and sat at her computer reading another story, always clicking on the same websites, Adultfanfiction, Granger Enchanted and The Burning Pen. Eagerly awaiting an update for a story or a new one that would spark her imagination. Her Boyfriend Trent knew her obsession and laughed knowing that it was harmless, hell he wanted to act out one or two of the scenes she would read out loud to him.

The day normally went fast for her, so it was no surprise when the clock said 3pm and she was off to work at the supermarket she was in. Pulling up at the front of the shop, Louise never noticed the man sitting at the table, with blond hair tied back. Watching her through sunglasses, Louise never realized just how soon her imaginary world was about to come waltzing into her life and turning it upside down.

(A week before)

Lucius looked up at the owl pecking at the window. With a wave of his hand he allowed it in. Taking the ministry sealed envelope he put it down looking at Draco who also had one in his hand. The floo lit up letting him know that Cissa was coming over. They decided to open their letters together.

Once Cissa made herself comfortable, they all opened their envelopes. Draco spoke up first, "Your bloody kidding me I have to go to Australia! I'm going to be with a girl who talks badly and probably lives like a savage!" Lucius looked at his son with a smirk. "They are not Savage's over there my boy. Actually they are just more laid back and it seems you and I are both going there." Cissa had turned a shade of green looking at her letter. "Well Looks like I am going to Australia as well, I have been paired with a man called Hank Donner." She read further down the shade of green getting worse. "He works on a cattle station, oh my I'm paired with a farmhand!" Cissa looked ready to faint as Lucius snicked looking back down at his letter. In the letter was a photo of the person and where they worked.

Louise Thornton, was twenty-five, four foot ten. Hmm very short and from the looks of it she was built for comfort. It also had on here that she was an avid fan of that book series that a witch had released about the war and the boy-who lived again. Getting her to accept magic shouldn't be too hard he thought.

"Who did you get Father?" Draco's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. "A woman in a town called Cairns. She works in a supermarket, but loves everything magical. It shouldn't be to hard for me to win her over." Draco sneaked a peek at the photo of his father's intended. "She's a lot different looking then any Malfoy bride I have seen, Dad 4 ft 10 your going to tower of her!" Lucius grabbed Draco's letter looking at his intended. "I wouldn't laugh Draco looks like you and I are going to the same town. Your intended looks nice enough a Katie Shule. Hmm she shouldn't be to hard for you to convince. Wait whats this she's already in a relationship with a woman!" Lucius nearly feel off his chair laughing. Not only had his son gotten a woman who was in a relationship she was into woman as well.

"I wouldn't laugh to soon Lucius, your intended is as well. And it looks serious they have bought a house together, he looks tough as well." Cissa had come back into the conversation looking over his shoulder to look at his muggle.

"That's trivial if she is that interested in our world I will be able to convince her to come back with me and she will forget him and everything else." It was then that they all read down further to the rules of the marriage law.

You could not force your intended to marry you, It had to be consensual and no unforgivable could be used. No force or magic could be used on them with malice. "Well Lucius lets hope you still have some of that smooth talking you had in school, because I think you are going to need it." Draco was looking ill, Cissa was laughing and Lucius was shaking his head all wondering just what their Minister had gotten them all into.


A/N I hope the owners of all the sites do not mind me mentioning them, they are my favorite sites and when I first heard Mrs Figg was not going to write anymore SS/HG I nearly cried thank-god she changed her mind.
