~Chapter the first~

It is December and Harry Potter lays asleep in his adoptive fathers quarters in the dungeons. Severus had adopted the boy when he was 5 years old after his relatives had all been killed in a car accident. He hadn't wanted to but The Headmaster had thought it best. In time Severus' reluctance had been won over by the boys charm, he really was a very good boy, although he still suffered from nightmares from his mistreatment at the Dursleys, but with Severus' gentle guidance and the love of everybody at Hogwarts he had grown into a happy and well behaved child. 6 years had past, and Harry was almost ready to begin at Horwarts School as a student. It wasn't quite Christmas, but nonetheless Harry was excited, his room was already decorated, and soft colored lights glowed on the tiny Christams tree that sat on his bedside table, casting a soft glow onto the sleeping boy.

Harry had been dreaming, of what he couldn't quite remember, Quidditch maybe, or flying, the thoughts were fleeting as he awoke with a start, not knowing what had caused him to wake himself up. An odd feeling was coming from his groin, and looking down he realized that his organ was hard, and poking out of the opening of his boxers. Reaching down in the darkness he touched himself briefly, meaning to put the thing back where it goes but as soon as he touched himself the organ erupted, sending ejaculate onto his hands and onto the bedspread. This had never happened to him before, and he was scared, but feeling his hands covered in the warm sticky mess was to much for him to grasp and he screamed in horror. Thinking it was blood he screamed louder, and with the glow from the Christmas tree it certainly looked like blood.

His screams rose to a hysterical pitch and roused Severus from his sleep as well, sending chills down his spine with fright and causing him to raise his wand in self defense, getting onto his feet he ran to Harry's room and burst in to see Harry alone, lowering his wand quickly he took in the scene before him. Harry on the bed, sitting up and looking down at his lap in horror, Severus was shocked to see Harry was partially undressed but he pushed that thought out of his mind quickly, rushing to the side of the bed muttering a "Lumos." as he went, he was sitting by Harry's bed when the lights went on and Harry quickly tucked himself back into his boxers.

"Harry whats wrong?" he asked. The boy was shaking and still crying a bit but the presence of Severus calmed him down enough to explain. Letting out a shuddering breath he said quietly, "I woke up, I was dreaming and something startled me, I looked down and my." he took another breath and continued, "my pen, my pe," he stopped then and cried more, not being able to get the words out. Severus seeing his discomfort asked him, "Your penis Harry?" and Harry nodded and tried to go on.

"It was sticking out of my shorts, and when i went too put it back inside it, well, Oh Merlin, it exploded!," a pause, "and then there was blood EVERYWHERE!" he declared, hysterics taking over again.

Severus took the boy into his lap and rocked him as he cried, "I broke it!" he said sadly, great sobs rising in his chest. Severus tried to reassure him, they had never discussed sex before, and realizing that it was long overdue he turned Harry to face him, casting a cleaning spell over them both and the bed he tried to regain his composure. "Harry, your penis isn't broken," he started, " what happened was perfectly normal for a wizard your age." he went on as Harry listened attentively.

" When a wizard reaches a certain age he starts to go through changes in his body and mind, he will start to grow thicker hair on his body, sometimes his voice will deepen, and usually its around that time that they begin to notice that the opposite sex seems more appealing." he paused and went on to explain the basics of conception to him, pausing now and then to make sure Harry was paying attention, "Do you understand?"

Harry nodded, thinking of the stray hairs he had painfully plucked from his groin area when they began to appear, "Severus, If that wasn't blood then what was it?" he asked. Severus sighed, knowing that he couldn't avoid the question, he took a breath before he went on.

"Well you know how I told you haw babies are made? How the man and woman each have a role to play in the conception?" a nod from Harry. " Well the substance that was on your hands is your contribution, a man makes this and it is deposited in the woman when they have sex." He didn't want to go into wizard pregnancies just yet, there was time for that later.

Seeing Harry growing sleepy he decided that there was time tomorrow for all of this . "I will bring you a couple of books tomorrow that will explain things further, but for now you need to sleep. It is quite late." Harry nodded and pulled the covers up around himself again, whispering "Nox." the lights went out again and the two said their goodnights.

Severus went back to his bedroom and got into bed. " Is everything ok?" the voice of the other man in his bed asked him. "Yes Sirius, Harry was just scared." he answered. " I took care of it." Sirius nodded and moved closer to his lover. "How about you take care of this then?" he asked seductively into Severus' ear as the pair moved closer together and kissed. No more words were spoken and no sound was heard by the then sleeping Harry as silencing spells were spoken and clothes came off.

((Ok, so there you have it. Severus gives Harry the talk. I am not to happy with most of it, mainly the dialog, but i wanted to get it written before i forgot it. if anybody has suggestions or whatnot please let me know!))
