Make You See My Love

When Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Pansy climbed the stairs to the Headmaster’s office for their meeting that they were already running late to they didn’t know that they lives were about to change. When they reached the top of the stairs and before knocking on the door they heard Dumbledore speaking to someone inside.

“I’m disgusted by what I’m hearing Mr. Black. How did you think that sending Mr. Snape to the Whomping Willow last night was going to be a funny joke? Hermione could hear the anger in the headmaster’s voice as he spoke even though his voice was calm to whoever was inside.

“Honestly I didn’t think he would actually go down there. He keeps asking us where he goes every month and he won’t take his grandmother being ill as an answer so I jokingly told him to go to the Willow. I didn’t exactly expect him to.” A voice was heard to reply.

The girls all exchanged looks at one another. There wasn’t any reason for anyone to know about the Whomping Willow.

“What are you going to do to us Headmaster? If me being here now is compromised I’ll leave now before letters from the other parents come in.” That voice sound just like Professor Lupin’s except younger.

“I haven’t told anyone what I saw Lupin. I might be a Slytherin but do you think I want to be laughed at because I was almost eaten by a werewolf. It’s bad enough that I’m a laughing stock because of you.” That voice was also familiar and Pansy’s eyes widen with shock. And before anything else could be said Hermione decided it was time to stop eavesdropping and knock on the door. Everyone in the room went quiet the girls didn’t know if they should take it as a good sign or bad until the door open and revealed Albus Dumbledore albeit a much younger Dumbledore and he stared and the four girls with confusion before addressing them.

“Now who might you four ladies be?”

Hermione gave the other girls a look that clearly told her to handle the situation and with a nod from the other she turned back to the Headmaster and seen for the first time a look of concern on his face. She had already realized by seeing the boys behind him that something wasn’t right and to keep them from hearing the truth she decided to give a cover story for them being there. Cause it was clear the headmaster recognized them and the boys looked familiar but younger. Luckily for the girls there were not in their uniforms like usual there were in regular muggle clothes.

“Yes actually we were told that we could find Headmaster Dumbledore here. Are you by chance the man we are looking for?”

“Why yes of course. What business do you have here?” Looking at all the girls over before bringing his eyes back to Hermione. She could feel him entering her mind and quickly pushed him out and made sure her walls were up before continuing.

“Well you see sir we are transfer students from Blackwood School for Girls in Greece. We came here after the school was shut down due to Headmistress Duret was killed. We all moved back to England with our families.”

“I see.” Was his only response before turning back to the boys.

“Well Mr. Lupin I will not be sending you home for a situation you had not control over however Mr. Black, you will no longer be participating on the Quiditch team for the remainder of the year and you’ll be serving Detention every Saturday for the rest of the year for your actions. Furthermore I want you to know just how serious this situation is. You could have gotten Mr. Snape killed with this stunt. And I know that…."

There was a snort from across the room and Hermione leaned towards Pansy to see that Snape was the one that delivered the snort. The girls exchanged a knowing look before returning to pretending to ignore the conversation.

“This doesn’t seem fair however this is the last year. I think it’s time for you boys to learn to grow up and take responsibilities for your actions. “
“But professor I already told you that I didn’t think he would go down there. How was I supposed to know that he would.”?

“Oh shut up! What a pathetic excuse.” The voice came from behind Hermione and when she turned to see whom it was Ginny pushed herself forward.

“Who the hell are you and what gives you a right to even speak to me that right?" Sirius Black replied back to her heatedly.

“My name is Ginevera Granger and I have had enough time to figure the whole situation out so shut the hell up and give up on trying to get out of this. You almost killed someone last night. Doesn’t that scare you in the least bit?”

“How was I supposed to know that he would go down there.”?

“Oh I know because he expressed his concern that he wanted to know where he goes every month maybe. That would have been my clue. No…I know guys like you. You think your so damn great because girl flock around you but in reality you suck.”

“Oh so now I suck. Look little girl you don’t know who I am and if you don’t back off and stay out of this conversation your about to find out…”

Well that was the wrong thing to say to Ginny because by the time he had finished he had a horn growing out of his forehead without noticing that Gin pulled her wand. Everyone began to laugh except for Ginny who kept her face neutral while everyone pointed to his head. He reached up and felt the horn and when he tried to pull on it he realized that it was most defiantly attached to him. He gave her a death glare while Lupin tried to remove it with a simple finite charm that didn’t work.

“What the bloody hell did you do?” Sirius roared at her.

“Just showing you that you’re not at great as you act. What’s wrong don’t like everyone to see the real devil within. I myself think it suits you.” Ginny said calmly with a smile. Hermione wasn’t at all convinced, she knew the crush that Ginny had on Sirius and smiled at the way her friend was flirting with him even if he was to busy to notice. She pulled her wand and said the counter to the curse that Ginny delivered and the horn disappeared.

“Ginny sis you probably should just stay out of the conversation. We know you like to defend people’s honors. But really I think it’s the Headmaster’s job don’t you think.”

“But Mia…This is so much more fun.”

“Gin….”

With that said Ginny walked back over to stand with Hermione. The boys just couldn’t help but look at Hermione with wide eye shock. Even Dumbledore gave her a nod of approval before continuing with his speech.

“Mr. Black I want you to take your detentions seriously. You could have really done some damage last night. Your first detention will be helping Mr. Filch down in the dungeons with whatever he has down there to be done. You will be informed by the next Saturday what your next detention will be. You three are dismissed.”

He ushered the woman in to have a seat as the boys left. Snape absolutely pissed because Black wasn’t expelled which should have been the right course of action. However everyone knew that that wasn’t going to happen even in the future when Black was telling Harry about it he still seemed to act like he didn’t care. Which pissed Hermione off but never said anything cause it was after all Snape that was being spoken about and the man seemed to hate Hermione with a passion.
