Losing two
Lily was looking up at Rosier and Dolohov as they neared. A piece of the wood from a crate had penetrated throuh part of her leg, and she was unable to get up, and if she would, she would have probably fallen, since her head was spinning.
“Oi!” Lily heard, and turned to see Fabian Prewett nearing to help Lily out. She was grateful for that, but suddenly he was dodging many spells that were flying at him.
“Watch out!” Lily managed to get out before she recieved a swift quick to her stomach from Rosier.
Fabian had not heard in time, a green flash of light hit him sqaure in the chest, and he fell to the ground with a thud. His eyes stared up at the sky, but they were unseeing.
“FABIAN!” Lily screamed staring at him. The battle just continued as if nothing had happened at all. “You bastards!” She said turning to scream at Rosier since he was the closest to her. He just smirked and raised his wand up at her.
“We have to leave!” Moody yelled over the comotion. He was helping Doge walk while Remus was carrying Marlene McKinnon who was unconsious and bareley breathing. “We are outnumberd let’s go!”
Sirius was helping Skye up when he saw Lily was still missing. “We need to get Lily!” Sirius yelled at Moody. He could see the bright vibrant hair by the light of the spells flying in the sky and she was slumped on the ground.
“No time,” Moody said and with that they apparated.
They landed in St. Mungos and healers were all over them like flies on food. Marlene was rushed off first followed by Moody and Doge. “No,” Sirius said as someone grabbed him to heal his arm which was bleeding. “I have to go,” he replied staring at the healer who gave him a nasty look because of his tone.
Remus nodded at Sirius, and Skye grabbed his hand. They had to go to tell James that Lily was missing.
With a pop they were gone, and they landed on the Potters’ front step. It was downpouring outside, and Sirius pushed the hair which was sticking to his forhead off to the side.
He looked at Remus and with a loud sigh, he knocked on the door. James was either going to collapse, or be extremely angry.
James was startled out of his sleep, and he shot up quickly. Apparently, while he had been sleeping a storm had rolled in. He adjusted his glasses on his face, and wiped away some spittle. Then he heard the knock again.
“I’m comin’” James said groggily as he shuffled over to the door and cracked it open. There on the steps were Sirius, Remus and Skye. He could barely see them except for the lightening that flashed outside.
“What’s goin’ on?” James asked him rubbing his eye. He was still half asleep, so he did not realize Lily was not with them, or see the solem look on their faces.
“Lily’s missing.” Sirius said staring at his best mate.
