I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
up to you... A/N
Okay, I've been asked for a sequel repeatedly... and I honestly don't know what to do, I'm sat on the fence here! I could happily leave this as an angsty one-shot, or take a jump into the future and make it an angsty two-shot.
So, my solution is to open the floor to a vote, and a reason why you want to see another chapter. Give a review with a 'YES' or 'NO', and your reason - reasonless votes will be disregarded. I need to know why people want or don't want to see more. I've never felt so neutral about one of my fics before - I normally have a very firm opinion about continuing or not! This is a bit scary!
You have 48hrs to decide the fate of this story - oneshot or twoshot? You lot are Julius Cesar in the Colosseum and you're looking down on a Gladiator... does he live to fight another day, or is he thrown to the lions?
I'm ignoring my own rule of "write for yourself, and yourself alone" - I'm doing this for the kind reviewers who make my day, rather than myself; partially because I feel detached from the fic... maybe it was the rape scene that zapped me?
The majority vote seals the outcome!

The votes were cast, and the gladiator lives to fight another day.
I was incredibly impressed with the many different reasons given for/against continuation, and those alone could have swayed me; but as I said above, the 'ayes' have it.
Thank you to all who read, and all who reviewed; the sequel chapter is being planned as I write this, and is heading on to be just as unique as the previous one!
Kind regards and best wishes to all.
Utopia.
