Senses Be Stricken
Disclaimer: I do not own the Harry Potter Series. All credit goes to J.K. Rowling for her outstanding creative mind. Without her imagination, the story in question would not be as juicy as it is…muwhahahaha. I am not making any money…don’t ask me why not.
Warning: Contains same sex relationship between an adult and child just of age (as ruled in wonderful Europe). Harry is 17-years old in this story. Thank the Lord. Smex wouldn’t be this good without good ol’ Harry.
New Character: Sivious Stenprin *hint: SS* See the plot thickening?!
*This chapter is dedicated to Alaine: Thanks for being my first review and giving me the initiative to get this chapter going and out as soon as possible!*
Chapter Two: Hogwarts’ Guest
“Your own room? Where at mate?” Ron queried as he shoved more of that morning’s breakfast into his mouth. It was a sight, to say the least.
Hermione was sitting next to Ron with a heavy glare. “Really Ron…the food is not going anywhere, so I do not understand why you insist on shoving it all in your mouth.”
“I’m managing my time, ‘mione. You’re always telling me to be productive,” Ron said as he highlighted his point by grabbing more rashers and shoving them into his mouth.
“I meant that about homework, Ron. You seem to manage to get food in no matter what you have to do that day,” Hermione huffed looking rather disgusted at watching the sight before her.
Harry wasn’t really listening to the two. It had been like this all morning. All he could ever think about was what had happened last night. After Snape had left, he found that he couldn’t go to sleep. Now he was even more so since he had classes to attend.
“Harry, are you alright?” Hermione was staring at him concerned.
“Fine. I’m just a bit tired.” Harry shook his head as if trying to rid him of all his thoughts.
“I asked you where your room was at, mate.”
“Oh, I can’t really tell anyone right now. Not for a while at least,” Harry said with apologetic eyes. He knew otherwise that the two would take it as him holding a secret. Harry told them everything. “The Headmaster asked for me to keep it secret just for the time being.”
“Oh,” the two said simultaneously.
“Well I don’t see why you would have to. Usually the Headmaster is fine with you telling us. I don’t see why this would be different,” Hermione chimed nonchalantly.
“It’s different. Trust me, ‘Mione.”
Hermione nodded her head, but Harry could still see that she was plagued by it. Hopefully, Dumbledore would let him tell the two soon. Although, Harry didn’t know how much good it would do if the two knew that he had been staying with the most feared Potion’s Master…and was sort of liking it.
Harry took a quick drink of his pumpkin juice and did his best to stay focused on the conversations going on at the table instead of that certain Potion’s Professor who secretly had been keeping an eye on Harry since he walked in.

Harry walked down the corridor making his way down to the dungeons to do his homework. He couldn’t do anything better with his time. It seemed that more and more, his mind was only on Snape. Hermione had told him that he looked like he needed to take a rest. He agreed with her. He hadn’t slept last night and maybe it was a good idea to try to sleep now. He figured that Snape wouldn’t be in the rooms since he probably had better things to do with his time.
Harry bumped into a dark figure and all his thoughts collided. “Umph!”
“Are you alright?”
Harry looked up to lay eyes on a tall man with course black hair that look and probably felt like silk. His eyes were a piercing ocean blue with a gray mist of color around the rim. He had the whitest pair of teeth that Harry had ever seen, and his skin was fair like the color you would find on a doll. Harry almost stuttered; the man was gorgeous.
“Um, yeah.” Harry pulled away slightly, but felt the weight of the man’s hands on his shoulders.
“Well if it isn’t Harry Potter,” the man said with a smile. “I’ve waited many years to meet you, and it would just figure that I would almost knock you over on our first meeting.”
Harry laughed a bit and fixed his glasses. “Well I wasn’t really paying attention, so it’s not really your fault.”
“Yes, I guess that you would have a lot on your mind with the Dark Lord always biting at your heels,” the man laughed again and straightened his cloak out. “My name is Sivious Stenprin. I’m an old friend of Headmaster Dumbledore. He invited me to stay a few weeks to fill in the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts while they found a replacement.”
“Oh,” Harry stated.
“So it will seem that you and I will get to be better friends then,” Sivious said. “Between us, Harry, you can call me Sivious.”
“Oh, um, thank you um, Sivious.” Harry felt weird around this man. He didn’t feel quite comfortable.
“How about you join me for tea, Harry. We could get to know each other better,” Sivious said with a charming smile.
“I think not, Sivious. Mister Potter has prior engagements,” Snape said appearing behind the man. Harry’s heart caught in his throat when the man’s dark, sensual voice penetrated his core. He watched as Sivious turned and smiled at Snape.
“Severus! You have not changed in the least,” Sivious said with a small chuckle. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
Snape sneered at the man and walked a little past him to the side of Harry. Harry looked up and noticed the man glaring. It didn’t seem like Snape liked Sivious, but that was to be expected since the man was definitely cheerful. Snape didn’t like cheerful.
“Well, some of us do have responsibilities, Sivious. None of which should be discussed here,” Snape said with anger lacing each word.
“Very well, Severus. Well Harry, it seems that we’ll have to catch up another time. I don’t want to make you late for what you had already planned for the evening. I will see you tomorrow.” Sivious bowed his head and continued on down the corridor. His presence was not missed by either of them. Harry didn’t feel quite right around the man, and he knew that Snape definitely didn’t want the man there.
“Come Potter,” Snape said pushing past him and down the steps leading to the dungeons. Harry couldn’t help but think where Sivious had come from if not from the dungeons since it seemed that Snape and him had not met before this encounter. Harry didn’t have to think as he followed Snape into the dungeons.
“How do you know Sivious,” Harry asked as he sat down on the couch near the fire.
“My personal affairs are not your concern, Potter.” Snape sat in the armchair this time, his back straight against the chair and his eyes directly on the flames dancing in the hearth.
Harry took his eyes away from Snape and onto the parchment in his lap. He brought the quill to the page and began to write. His thoughts started to stray from transformation processes to Snape’s eyes. Honestly, he preferred the dark orbs to the blue one of Sivious’. Harry caught himself there for a moment. Did he just state he liked Snape’s eyes better?
It wasn’t anything new that he didn’t feel anything for girls. He realized that after Cho and him had kissed, he didn’t really feel for girls. Although, he had never really truly admitted to his friends, or really to himself that he had a thing for guys. He figured it was best not to say anything since he never actually planned on acting on it. Besides, anyone he got close to always ended up getting hurt.
He hardly believed that he had a crush on Snape, and even if he did, nothing could be done about it.
When he looked up again, Snape was watching him from his read text. He looked down again and noticed he had drawn a line from the spot he had be writing to the edge of the page. He felt the blood rush to his face. Definitely embarrassing.
Harry stood up and folded the parchment. He needed to have a moment to himself without the man’s eyes on him. Thoughts kept rushing into his head every time their eyes met. He rushed from the room into his bedroom leaving a slightly perturbed Potion’s Master.

“Attention, please. I have an announcement,” Dumbledore was standing with Sivious Stenprin on his right-hand side. “This here is Sivious Stenprin and he will be standing in for the Defense Against the Dark Arts position until we can find someone to better fill it. Until then, he will be our guest.”
Hermione and Ginny sat giggling as Sivious stood and thanked Dumbledore.
“Truly, it is an honor to be here. I hope that I can help in any way possible, so feel free to come by and ask me questions.” Sivious sat down and Harry caught Snape sneering at the man. He truly looked angry, and Harry really wondered what went on between the two.
“Look how gorgeous he is. He’s even better looking then Professor Lockhart was,” Ginny said to another Gryffindor girl across the way. Hermione was nodding her head, and Ron looked like he had just been slapped.
“Where did he come from though?” Seamus asked as Sivious sat down and Harry gave him a quick glance. The man smiled at him, and his eyes seemed to twinkle like that of Dumbledore’s.
After dinner, Harry left the grand hall and made his way down to the dungeons. His thoughts were still wrapped up, but at least he was getting used to staying with Snape. He was getting used to the idea that things were different.
“Harry,” Sivious said coming from the shadows. “It’s great to see you!”
Harry smiled and walked up to the man. “Hi, Professor.”
“Really Harry, it’s Sivious. There really is no need to be so formal. I was just on my way to my quarters. Would you join me for a cup of tea? Unless…you have prior engagements,” Sivious asked with a small raise of his eyebrow.
Harry hesitated. He didn’t have anything planned, but he still felt uneasy around the man. He finally shook it off as just nervousness and nodded his head. “Sure.”
~~**~~
“So how do you and Snape know each other?” Harry asked after taking a sip of his raspberry and chocolate flavored tea. So far, Sivious had been very nice and charming. Harry’s uneasiness was beginning to fade.
“That, Harry, is a long story. Severus and I actually attended Hogwarts together. He and I were both in Slytherin with Lucius,” he said taking a sip from his tea from the seat on the couch near Harry.
“You were friends with Lucius Malfoy?” queried Harry.
“Yes, well before Lucius joined league with the Dark Lord. Both Severus and Lucius joined league with the Dark Lord and I, well let’s just say that I refused to choose sides. Unfortunately, as it were, Severus and I drew apart after that. I disappeared for a while with the help of Dumbledore as both of my parents were muggles,” Sivious said with a sad smile.
Harry couldn’t help but think that there had to be something missing from the story. The pure hatred Snape showed for Sivious was too hard to just disregard as his hatred for everyone cheerful.
“Enough about me though. What about you Harry? I hear that you are the star seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.”
Harry smiled, “Not really a star, sir.”
“Oh, so modest. I’m sure that you are. I can’t wait to watch you play,” Sivious said with a cheerful smile. The man did smile a lot. Harry wondered if he was maybe a distant cousin of Dumbledore’s since he had both the cheerfulness and the twinkling blue eyes.
“Well sir, thank you for the tea, but I have to get back to my room before curfew,” Harry said rising from the couch. He felt the man grab his hand and quickly turned to look down. Sivious’ eyes twinkled again, and he felt his heart jab painfully at his chest.
“I really enjoyed our time together, Harry.” Sivious ran his hand to smooth over Harry’s arm. “I hope you can join me again. Perhaps tomorrow night?”
“I’m sorry, but I have lessons after dinner,” Harry stated before he could catch himself.
“Lessons?” Sivious’ eyebrow rose in question.
“Um, yeah. Professor Snape is giving me lessons on potion’s, sir.” Harry’s heart quickened. He had to do everything to keep his appearance indifferent.
“Oh, of course. Well then, another time.” Sivious removed his hand from Harry. Harry nodded his head and quickly left the room and rushed to the dungeons. There was definitely something weird about the way Sivious had touched him. Of course, he wasn’t sure if it was just his imagination.
~~**~~
When Harry arrived in the living room, Snape was seated at the chair by the fire. His heart felt like it was being squeezed, and he had to close his eyes to try to calm his nerves.
“Mister Potter, you are two minutes past curfew. I expect that you have a good reason,” Snape said with a sneer.
“Sorry, sir. I was having tea with Professor Stenprin. It won’t happen again,” Harry said as he calmed himself.
“I suggest you stay away from him, Potter. Sivious is not to be trust,” Snape said standing from the chair and walking to stand in front of Harry. “I’ve only known the man to be after his own interests, Potter. It is best if you do not spend any more time alone with him.”
“But Professor,” Harry started.
“You do not know what he is capable of, Potter. Do not trust so easily,” Snape said angrily.
“He’s a friend of Dumbledore’s though,” Harry argued. He knew he was treading on dangerous ground, but he did not understand why Snape was getting so defensive. Snape refused to tell him anything, yet told him to stay away and believed that Harry would just agree and do as he was told.
Snape stepped closer to Harry. The ghost of Snape’s breath fell over Harry, and he felt his knees weaken. He could feel himself tremble.
Snape spoke again, but this time low and close to Harry’s ear. “Do not trust so easily, Potter.” The warmth of the man’s breath caused Harry to erupt with goose pimples all over his body.
“I…um,” Harry stuttered out. His breathing had quickened and his heart pounded so loud he was sure that Snape could hear it. There was no denying now what he felt for Snape.
Snape pulled away a bit and they both held each other’s gaze. Harry knew that Snape would visibly be able to see his inner turmoil. Snape’s eyes flickered for a moment and before Harry had time to ponder what that meant, he was forced against the door and his mouth was caught by the other’s in a searing kiss.
His mouth was forcibly opened by said Potion’s Professor’s tongue. He groaned and his head was tilted back as the battle of tongues began. Snape’s hands clawed at his hips and he could feel the man’s fingertips probing at his robes as if hesitating to take anything further.
Snape’s lips were surprisingly soft and his mouth hot and wet. The kiss burned not only his lips, but his head and body. Other parts of him began to react. He arched into the man’s touches. Snape’s fingers left his body and so did the man’s mouth. Harry breathed heavily and looked up. They stood in silence for what seemed like hours. Harry couldn’t find words, and it seemed that Snape was in much of the same predicament.
Snape turned and walked into his room leaving Harry confused and heavily aroused. If that didn’t complicate things, then he didn’t know what would.
