To change the Future
Chapter 2 – To change the future
Hermione Granger, who was perceived as very smart by all the people who knew her, was at the moment, utterly flabbergasted.
One minute she had been in front of Voldemort, facing down a killing curse, and the next, she found herself in a clearing in the forbidden forest, appearing unscathed.
As she looked around, she noticed another person appear in the bushed to her left.
She walked closer and gasped as she jumped back in surprise….
There hunched over looking directly at her, sat none other than Severus Snape.
Her wand flew to the defensive, as she was prepared for this monster that she at one time called professor, to attack her.
“Why the hell did you bring me here?” she spat, “Where am I? Why are you here?” her questions poured out, the anger evident in her voice.
She was frustrated at not being able to figure out what had happened to her, why her ex professor was with her, and why she was here.
He silently moved a few feet away from her, so that she would not do him bodily harm.
“Now Hermione” he spoke in soft soothing tones “I need you to understand that what has happened here is the result of some strong magical spell”.
“What do you mean” she said, with caution in her voice. Her wand still in hand and pointed at his heart.
“When Voldemort cast the killing curse at you, the only thing I could do to protect you, was send a spell at the killing curse, which would turn it virtually into a time hole. Thus pulling you into the past and out of harm’s way. You must understand, it was the only thing I could think of doing spur of the moment.”
“Why did you come in here with me then”?
He hesitated, and she directed him to continue with her wand.
“I felt and knew in my heart, that the dark lord would punish me, for letting you get away. He knows that I am a spy, and that I had been working for Dumbledore and the Order”.
“How did he know this”?
“He, like Dumbledore, knows everything. But he has this power from a potion that I created for him years before he killed Potter”. He hesitated yet again.
“I have brought us to this time, because I believe that we can stop him from ever taking that potion, making it so he does not know the Orders plans for the final battle. That way, we can win, and bring him down with us”.
“Why do you need me”
“Because, unlike popular belief, you are the smartest which of your era, and if anyone can help solve this, it is you. Without you, Potter would have been dead years ago”.
She smiled at that, and as she did, she realized that in her heart, she had always known that he was good.
“ok”, she said, “what do you need me to do”?

*Ok yall, these chapters are going to be short and sweet, I will not be able to post anything for a couple days, because I have to go out of town to a funeral, but let me know what ya think, and If I should continue or not.
