Angry Draco
Back to the story.
**********************************
Draco awoke freezing on his bedroom floor with a pounding headache. He groaned as he sat up with his right hand sliding into the long blond hair only to discover he had recently grown a lump on the back of his skull. The flash of pain caused the blond to swear as he used the wall to stand slowly, making sure he did not fall over again. When he was stable, he cracked open a single eyelid to look at the bed. Both flew open to see his bed empty and the clothes that were supposed to be on the ground gone. Draco stood frozen for a moment while his mind registered that Harry was gone, his Harry, and there was one hell of a lump on his head. It registered then that Harry would have been the only one able to do this to him for Harry was the only one able to enter this room besides Draco himself. Draco’s face paled for a moment then filled with anger at the thought of Harry rejecting him so, and hurting him on top of that, that had never been part of their relationship even though it was still new.
In his anger, he no longer remembered the knot on his head as he stormed to the closet. The wide doors opened to a large walk-in closet that held hundreds of robes and the Muggle clothes he had begun collecting and wearing for Harry.
Without thought, he picked out a thin black t-shirt, black jeans, and black knee high leather boots that laced up. He glanced at the silver dragon ring with emerald eyes that rested on his left hand pointer finger and winked at him. It had been the only gift he had ever kept with him always, a gift from Harry on his last birthday. It was the first day Harry had ever showed that he cared about Draco and one day he would never forget.

((Flash Back))
Draco leaned back against a wall with a cool smile on his face as the people around him danced and talked. The day was supposed to be his and he was supposed to be happy, but over the last four months he had grown bored of life He loved his family, though his wife had taken another lover and just that morning handed him divorce papers. It was not that she had presented him with them, he minded so much it was the simple fact that he had not done so himself. He didn’t hate his wife but he had never loved her and he knew there was something more he needed, she had found it, he had yet too. The idea had made Draco annoyed and the fact that he no longer had a single friend annoyed him more. None of the people in the room knew him, they knew the boy he used to be, not the man who lived inside.
Draco shifted to stand and leave the room when a guest he had never expected to show arrived. Harry Potter walked into the room with his wife close to his side, her face holding a wide happy smile while Harry simple acted as though he was ready to slip away and drink something strong. Draco took a quick look around the room noting that his son looked equally bored until Harry’s boys James and Albus entered, both boys were looking around for Scorpius then after finding him quickly sneaking off to see what they could get into. Draco noticed Harry’s slight grin at his boys and was not in the least bit worried that they were friends with his son.
Draco had heard from his son that both of the Potter boys had helped him out a few times into getting out of trouble and had getting him into more of it. The way his son had spoken they were friends and good ones, which in Draco’s eyes meant he and Harry would need to be soon also so they boys wouldn’t have to worry about them fighting. Ginny, however, was still against the boys being friends but could do little about it..
Ginny, yanked on his sleeve actually causing the material of the silk green shirt to rip. At this Draco watched as Harry looked down at his wife with an angry look. She glared back at him about to say something Draco figured would be nasty.
With his mind made up, Draco made his way across the room easily taking his time while he watched the couple. Harry didn’t bother to even look at his wife as she tugged his shirt sleeve. Harry had turned to watch Draco and be sure the blond had nothing bad in mind.
Draco lifted his wand mumbling a nice little spell to mend Harry’s ripped shirt causing Harry to glance at Draco once more.
“You do have good taste in clothing Harry, though your wife seems to be a bit to strong for the threading. If you like I can give you the name of a great tailor who could give you stronger stitching. He’s rather good.”
Ginny’s face turned deep red and she turned to Draco, her temper still high as she spoke without thinking.
“How dare yo…”
Harry’s hand clamped over his wife’s mouth and he gave her a look that screamed harm if she kept talking. He kept an eye on his wife as he spoke to Draco.
“Please forgive her Draco she’s had a long day and is not feeling well. She just wished to go home and sleep but I insisted she come and not be rude. Our sons are friends and it was time we met Scorpius’ parents and hopefully became friends.”
Harry let go of his wife’s mouth and she lowered her head though her temper was still evident she said nothing. Harry turned his attention back to Draco and the old grin he used to have tilted his lips.
“So Draco every played Billiards?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is how the night he had truly began to feel for Harry started but now that blasted green eyed jack ass had gone to far by knocking him out like that. Since Draco was dressed he left his room, so annoyed he didn’t even notice his son behind him the whole way down the stairs. When Scorpius spoke Draco was startled and turned to look at the boy.
“What’s wrong dad? Mum try to get more of the property again? The winter cottage or something?”
Draco blinked at his son for a minute wondering what he was talking about then it clicked, he was pissed off and even his son could see it.
“No Scorpius, thank you for asking though. I just had a really rough night. I have a few things I plan to do today…. You want to come along?”
Scorpius was surprised, his father rarely asked him to go anywhere with him. It was something they had not done in years. He nodded his head lightly and grinned down at his father.
“Yeah dad, that would be fun.”
Draco nodded and turned heading for the front door.
“We’re going shopping. If I recall correctly, Albus’ birthday is in two days, meaning we need to get him something from the both of us, you know a type of combination gift, and if you hadn’t gotten anything for him yet you’ll need too. “
Scorpius looked at his father’s back as he followed him and was surprised with him remembering his friend’s birthday. When they both made it outside Scorpius was again surprised as Draco went for the garage. The only thing in that garage was an old sports car black as night, and meaner then hell. After both entered, Draco walked up to the car purring her name and she came to life. The dust dispersed as her paint came back to full life glowing in the dim light. Draco moved to the driver’s side of the car and looked at Scorpius.
“You coming?”
Scorpius climbed into the car still surprised by his father. As he buckled in, and bilked in the car roared to life and jumped out of the garage heading straight for Diagon Alley. They left the car on the outskirts of Alley and walked in taking the long way. The walk was calming for Draco and Scorpius was just happy to be able to spend time with his father. As they walked into the first shop Draco stopped dead. A soft growl rumbled from him as his eyes caught on the one person he did not want to see this early in the day.
I know no real sexy bits this time. But I had to put in some history here. I'll get into the good stuff next chapter. In the mean time you guys take a guess as to who that person is that Draco doe snot want to see.
