When I kissed him I didn’t think.
After I had kissed him we realized our lives would change. And they did.
Not everyone accepted out relation ship.
Of course, with him, I could deal with anything.
From the names to the threats.
I was afraid of how my family would take it.
I loved them, but I loved him more.
If I had to give them up for him, so be it.
I didn’t really want to though.
But, I didn’t have to worry.
My mum was ecstatic when she found out.
The rest of the family was happy for us.
We were lucky. Not all families would have been like that.
But, it doesn’t matter.
We have each other and that’s what matters.
We love it though that my family is so accepting of us.
It means a lot to both of us.
We’re so happy now; I don’t think anything could change that.
