chapter 2
Chapter 2: The letter to friends
Dearest Hermonie and Ron,
I won’t be able to make it to Ron’s before catching the train so I will meet you at the train station. I have had a somewhat wonderful summer. Uncle Vernon has lost a subtansial mount of weight. Aunt Petunia has improved on her Garden. And I guess you could say that Dudley has gotten what’s coming to him.
I have a new pet. She’s so cute. Hermonie, you will really like her she’s light blue. She’s a VERY special breed of a creature called a neko.
Anyways, sorry this is short but I’ll see you soon.

As Ron finished reading the letter aloud to Hermonie, his brow furrowed at Harry’s new pet.
“What’s a nii-ko” Ron asked. Immediately Hermonie went through her books on animal studies and quickly flipped through the pages. “I wonder where he would gather such a creature.”
“I can’t find it!” Hermonie exclaimed. “There’s nothing in my books that state what a neko is.”
“What about your foreign books? Didn’t you just get a book from Japan? Maybe it’s in there. You never know.” Ron shrugged.
“it’s worth a try. I’m afraid Japan isn’t my favorite country.” Hermonie opened a rather large book that was hunter green with seafoam blue binding and recited a search enchantation. “Neko, light blue, special breed.” And as if by magic (pun intended) the book came to life and its’ pages started flip back and forth until a small group of twenty pages or so stood up on end, thus revealing the ‘Neko’ section.
As Ron and Hermonie glanced over the section, meanwhile in another part of London, Ano and Harry was watching a very strange neko in a London Goth clothing store.
Harry was distraught at the scene. The neko was very petite with a larger than life bust size. She was waving her arms frantically with a very large t-shirt in her hands. The guy on the other side of the counter laughed boastfully at the scene and his reply seemed to slicence the raven haired, pale skinned neko.
“Harry, she’s actually a fox.”
“What?!”
“Yeah, well, half. Half neko, half fox.”
“and how do you know that?”
“that’s my cousin raven. She’s doing some mid semester shopping.”
“mid semester?”
“Well yeah, you have to remember that in Japan the school year starts in april. We are in school a little bit longer but we get more holidays than you do.”
“oh ok.”
As the two went back to watching Raven in the window, a strange beeping sound emited from Ano’s left butt cheek.
“ano, love, what the hell is that?”
“Huh? Oh! That’s my two-way,” Ano giggles as she pulls it out of her pocket. “It’s like a computer, cell phone, and remote control all in one. I will have one made for you when we get to Hogwarts.”
“thanks love.” Harry replied. Once Raven had finished her shopping she disappeared into thin air. “what the hell just happened?” Harry said with disbelief on his face.
“that –“ ano giggled, “is called hammerspace. I will explain it to you another day.”
And with that Harry and Ano finished the shopping andrunning of errands that they were doing for hisaunt and uncle.
Meanwhile….
Ron and hermonie were quite bewildered over the information they read about the neko species and had discussed it with Ron’s family.
“I heard of them.” Ron’s mother proclaimed “the are animals that dark wizards and witches changed into people and tried very strange experiements on them. When the poor creatures had enough, they overthrew their masters and took over the lands there.”
“what lands?” ron’s father asked.
“Japan, china, anywhere in the orient.” Ron’s mother repled. “Harry just might unleash something worse than he-who-must-not-be-named onto your school. Here’s hoping you have a decent defense against the dark arts teacher this year. You just might have to save Harry potter.
Ron and Hermonie were worried and started to send out letters to fellow dormmates; notifing them of Harry’s ‘pet.’ The teens decided that they will come up with a plan to capture and examen the neko.
“There!” hermonie said as she read the last word of the neko section for the last time of the night. “all we can do now is wait.”
