Chapter Two
A/N: Sorry if the spacing is a little off. When I uploaded it, it messed up and I had to go through and fix it. I might have missed a few places.
Chapter Two
"Draco," Harry mumbled, his finger tracing the outline of the blonde's picture longingly. He closed his eyes and imagined they were back at The Black Lake.
He watched as Draco looked up at the sky, his blonde hair blowing in the wind.
"Draco," he called happily and the blonde looked over at him with a smile, but before he could say anything there was a flash of light.
"Hey," Draco scowled playfully, "Malfoy's never smile in pictures."
Harry faked gasp, "Yes, wouldn't want anyone to know that you're actually okay to look at when you aren't glaring at them."
Draco growled before lunching himself at Harry, causing them both to tumble to the ground, Draco straddling Harry as he pined the brunette's hands above his head.
"Okay? Please Potter, I'm positively radiant, in fact they haven't even invented a word for how out of this world gorgeous I am." he smirked down at his lover who was desperately trying to hold in his laughter.
"Harry? Harry? Are you okay?" Ron shook his shoulder gently.
"Do you want to talk?" Hermione asked in a motherly voice.
Harry shook his head, "I'd just want to be alone right now."
His friends nodded, giving him worried looks before slowly exiting the room.
Harry sighed as he flopped back on his bed.
Ron, Hermione, and himself at been locked up in Grimmauld Place for a little over two weeks now. The final battle could happen anyday now and the Order felt it was best that the three young Gryffindors not advertise their whereabouts.
Harry wouldn't mind being locked away so much if everyone would just leave him alone. He didn't liked being questioned about his thoughts, especially since all he could think about was Draco.
What would it be like to see him in his Death Eater masker. How would he feel when he saw his ex lover shooting curses at the people he had grown to love as family. Would he still love Draco? Or would anger and hatred overtake those feelings? He seriously doubted it. Draco could burst into the room right now and torture him to the point of insanity and he would still be grateful just to see those beautiful eyes one last time.
Tears filled his eyes as he realized that either way the war ended, he lost. He would always love the blonde, of this he was sure. But the unnerving fact was that he knew they would never be together again. Part of him even wished he would die in the battle, that way he never had to live with out the man he loved. But the other part, the part he knew he would ultimately listen to, told him that he needed to live. For his parents, for Dumbledore, for Sirius, for everyone who had died fighting Voldemort, for everyone who had died waiting for him, who died for him.
A gentle pecking sound shook him from his thoughts and he turned to see a white majestic looking owl knocking on the window impatiently.
He got off the bed and skeptically walked towards the wall, the owl crooked his head as if to tell him to hurry up.
Harry opened the window and untied the parchment, he turned to get a hand full of Hedwig's owl treats but when he turned to give them to the unknown owl, he was gone.
Harry looked at the parchment curiously before untying it.
He knows where you are, he's planned a raid for midnight. Believe me or not, it's your choice.
Harry's eyes widened, he knew that hand writing. He smiled as he read it again. Draco did care about him after all. He almost jumped for joy before the words sunk in. He turned and burst through the door calling out to his two best friends as he raced down the stairs.
"Watch each other's back, don't hesitate to kill, and never put you wand hand down." Remus instructed as The Order surrounded Number 12, Grimmauld Place.
All except for Hermione and Harry, who were still hidden inside upstairs. The Order didn't feel it was wise to put Harry in the fight too soon.
They had all secretly crept out of the house, hiding in surrounding places, waiting for the death eaters to show up. The plan was to wait until they were all inside before surrounding them. There were, of course, multiple charms and spells protecting Harry and Hermione.
"There they are," Moody growled as a dozen hooded figures appeared at the front gate.
"Dumb gits, like we don't have people watching Headquarters." Ron mumbled.
"I doubt they are aware that it's Headquarters." Remus whispered, "Last I heard they still suspected Tonk's parents house. They probably just assume this is where the three of you are hidden. They would be foolish to not cast a spell to tell them how many people are inside. As far as they know it's only two."
"Less talk, more action." Moody growled before apparating into the house.
He was followed by Remus, Tonks, Ron, Fred, George, Bill, Charlie, Arthur, McGonagal, and Shacklebolt.
"I can't take it Hermione," Harry paced, trying to block out the loud noises coming from down stairs.
"Be patient Harry, we're suppose to wait for Moody's signal." Hermione patted him on the back, although she was nervous as well.
"And what if he's dead!" Harry shouted.
"Harry! Be quite!" Hermione whispered fiercely, glaring at her friend.
"This is bollocks." Harry exclaimed as he pointed his wand at the door.
"Confringo!" a jet of light flew from his wand, crashing into the door and causing it to explode, leaving only a pile of dust where the tall wooden door use to stand.
Hermione eyes grew as she watched an infuriated Harry run from the room.
As Harry descended the stairs he saw unmasked Death Eaters fighting with the Order.
He silently thanked every deity that would listen that the death eaters had abounded their masks. He would have never forgiven himself if he had accidentally hurt Draco.
He spotted Bellatrix Lestrange fighting with Remus and gave a wicked smiled.
"Crucio!" he yelled, pointing his wand at Bellatrix. Remus turned to look at Harry with a stunned look as the Death Eater fell to the floor, screaming in pain. Harry smirked and Remus shook his head, turning back to the battle.
Harry looked around, searching for blonde hair.
"Oh looky here Potter has come to join us." a voice wheezed and Harry turned to see Amycus Carrow grinning at him, wand pointed.
"Crucio." Alecto yelled from beside her brother, but Harry ducked, barely avoiding the curse.
"Avada Kedavra!" he yelled angrily from the ground, watching as the green light hit Alecto in the chest, she looked dazed before she fell to the floor, her brother gaping besides her.
"Why you little-" he growled, stomping towards Harry.
"Petrificus Totalus." someone whispered from behind Amycus and Harry turned to see Draco, looking at him sadly.
"Draco," he whispered, tears forming in his eyes just from the site of the blonde.
Draco stared for a moment before rushing over to help Avery, who was currently fighting with Moody.
Harry watched the love of his life battling the Auror and realization hit him. They were on opposite sides of a war. This wasn't a game, it wasn't a fairy tale that started out sad and ended happily. This was reality. His lover sided with a mad man that was trying to kill him. Hagrid's words echoed in his head, "When a wizard goes over ter the Dark Side, there's nothin' and no one that matters to 'em anymore..."
Harry scrambled to the far corner of the room, looking at the multiple fights going on.
He saw Ron battling with Dolohov and Jugson and immediately rushed over.
"Crucio!" Dolohov laughed wildly as Ron writhed on the floor, screaming in agony.
"Sectumsempra!" he pointed at Dolohov, not stopping to watch the man fall to the floor, shirt no doubt soaked with blood. He turned on Jugson, watching as the man's face contorted with fear.
"Avada Kedavra," he said, flicking his wand.
"Harry," Ron croaked as he shakily stood to his feet, pointing behind Harry.
Harry whirled around, "Sectumsempra," he cast again, watching as more blood covered the already drenched shirt. Ron eyes widened and he looked worriedly at Harry. The Order had secretly wondered if Harry would have it in him to ultimately kill Voldemort but here he was, torturing Death Eaters.
"Avada Kedavra," Ron yelled, finishing off Dolohov.
Harry looked around, searching once more for blonde hair. He frowned when he spotted it. Draco was standing with Fenrir Greyback, they appeared to be guarding something.
Harry frowned, he wasn't sure what to do now. There were only a few fights still going on. Harry didn't look at the ground to see who was dead.
"Potter," a voice hissed and Draco and Greyback moved to reveal Voldemort.
"I've been watching you, I never thought The Gryffindor Golden Boy would have it in him to take a life. I must admit, I'm impressed." he hissed, moving closer to Harry. The remaining Order members all stood back with baited breath, knowing they couldn't interfere.
Harry scowled, looking between Draco and Voldemort. Draco glared, trying to stop Harry from looking at him and to focus on Voldemort.
"Incarcerous," Voldemort hissed, causing rope to fly out of the end of his wand and wrap around Harry before attaching to the ceiling.
Harry looked around and noticed for the first time that everyone except Voldemort, Draco, Greyback, and himself seemed to be frozen in place.
"I remember your father saying something about a rivalry between Potter and yourself Draco, is that correct." Voldemort said rather that asked but Draco bowed nevertheless.
"Yes, My Lord."
"Don't lie to me Malfoy." Voldemort hissed, turning to look at him with cold red eyes.
"What do you mean My Lord?" Draco asked nervously.
"Do not insult me young Malfoy, I am highly skilled in occulmency. When you returned to Malfoy Manor after going to Hogwarts your emotions were easily readable. You were so distraught you didn't even feel me reading you memories." Voldemort hissed, looking the blonde up and down before returning his gaze to Harry.
"I'll over look your lying and treachery since you did in fact show your true alliances in the end." Voldemort summoned a chair before sitting down, facing the two young men.
"However even I am not so cruel as to not allow two young lovers to be together one last time."
Draco paled at this, looking at Harry in horror.
"Fuck him Draco," Voldemort hissed, smirking as realization crossed Harry's face.
"My Lord,-" Draco started to object but was interrupted.
"Now," Voldemort demanded, and whispered a spell causing Harry's clothes to disappear.
Harry fought against his bonds as Draco slowly walking behind him.
"Don't Draco," Harry whispered, he didn't want their last time together to be like this.
Draco ignored him, moving a finger to his entrance hesitantly.
"No," Harry whispered, bucking his hips away from the invading finger.
Draco paused momentarily, a look of hurt on his face, but after a moment it was masked by a look of indifference.
Harry bite his lip, trying to stop from calling out to Draco to stop.
The blonde was thrusting three fingers into him harshly. Voldemort chuckled from delight and Draco had to look away to avoid throwing up.
Draco moved his fingers away before pressing himself against Harry's entrance, he grabbed Harry's hips gently and slowly pressed in. Voldemort be damned, he wasn't going to hurt his lover this was. If he absolutely must do it, and if either one of them were going to make it out alive, he did, he was going to at least make sure it was as pleasant as possible for Harry.
Draco thrust franticly, searching for Harry's sweet spot as the brunette moaned in front of him.
"Draco," he groaned, head falling back against the blonde's shoulder when he managed to hit Harry's prostate.
The blonde leaned forward, biting the former Gryffindor's ear, "I love you, Harry." he whispered throatily. There was a good chance the Dark Lord heard him but at this point he didn't care, he didn't count on getting out of this alive anyhow. He would happily give up his life so that Harry knew with out a shadow of a doubt that he did in fact love him.
"I was wrong," he groaned as Harry clamped down around his hard shaft.
"Tell me you believe me," Draco pleaded, his thrusts becoming harder, his orgasm approaching fast.
"I believe you," Harry mumbled, his hips moving back against Draco, urging him to go deeper.
"Do you forgive me?" Draco asked as he moved his right hand to Harry's aching erection, stoking it lightly, just enough to make Harry groan with frustration.
By now they both had forgotten that they were not alone. Lost in the moment, both prayed it would never end.
"Yes, I love you dragon," Harry groaned, crying out as Draco's hand tighten, causing jets of cum to coat him chest.
"Harry," Draco moaned as the other man's arse clinched around his cock, his orgasm seemingly ripped from his body.
"How lovely," Voldemort hissed, his voice laced with amusement. Draco and Harry both looked up at him, having forgotten about the others.
"Wasn't that beautiful, Greyback?" Voldemort laughed demonically.
"Heartwarming," Greyback growled.
Draco slowly moved his hand into his coat pocket, feeling for his wand.
Voldemort whispered a spell and suddenly Order members and Death Eaters alike seemed to come back to live.
"I want them to see me kill you," Voldemort hissed, "I want them to watch their hero die, bound to the ceiling, thoroughly fucked by his treacherous death eater lover."
Draco grabbed Harry's hand, pulling it behind his back slowly, trying not to draw attention to what he was doing. He pressed the wood of his wand into Harry's palm before closing his hand around Harry's. He moved his hand back to Harry's hips, trying to help keep the suspended man balanced and also hide the wand in his lover's palm.
"I love you. Always." the blonde whispered into Harry's ear.
"Move back young Malfoy," Voldemort hissed and Harry realized that if Draco moved, multiple Death Eater's would be able see the wand, he panic for a moment as Draco slowly stepped back.
"Harry," Draco warned.
Harry turned, straining his head to see the blonde before quickly turning back to Voldemort.
"Avada Kedavra!" Harry yelled, whipping the wand from behind his back and pointing it straight at Voldemort's chest, green light shooting out of the end of the wand, hitting a stunned Lord Voldemort.
"Incidere Funis," Remus pointed his wand at the top of the rope and Harry came tousling to the floor, Draco moving to catch him.
"Blood traitor!" a voice yelled a moment before a bright green light came towards Draco's chest.
Harry looked on in horror, the scene seemingly moving in slow motion.
"Draco!" he yelled as the light hit him in the center of his chest, he seemed to float for a moment, a white glow surrounding him before his limp body crashed to the floor.
Harry desperately crawled across the floor as the remaining Death Eaters and Order members fought.
When he was finally close enough he launched himself at Draco's lifeless body.
"Draco," Harry whispered, looking into the now empty grey eyes. He ran his hand through the blonde hair, pressing his lips against the warm mouth of his lover.
"I love you," he whispered, cradling the blonde head against him. "Don't leave me dragon, come back, please." he cried.
Harry heard someone calling his name as strong arms wrapped around him, trying to pull him away from Draco.
"No! Draco! Please, let me go!" Harry fought desperately, kicking his legs and waving his arms as Remus attempted to pull Harry away from Draco's body.
"Please someone, just kill me." Harry whispered defeated, sinking against the body behind him as he was pulled from the room, tears streaming down his face as his chest tightened up, he gasped for breath as everything went dark.
"You have a visitor Mr. Potter," the nurse smiled sadly at the broken man on the bed. If Harry heard her he didn't show it.
A tall, slender, blonde women walked into the room, her eyes glassy from tears she was desperately trying to control.
Harry slowly turned his head to look at her, his face blank.
"I don't know if you recognize me or not Mr. Potter but I'm-"
"You're Draco's mum." Harry said, his voice cracking as he said Draco's name, a lump the size of a snitch forming in his throat.
"Yes I am," Narcissa looked away, tears falling down her pale cheek.
"You have his eyes," Harry said and Narcissa frowned at the odd phrasing.
"And you have his heart," she said after a moment, staring at the boy huddled on the bed. This was not the strong young man that she had once seen walking the halls of Hogwarts, laughing with his friends. This wasn't the same person that defeated Voldemort just days before.
He gazed at her with emerald eyes full of pain and despair, resembling a lost little boy.
"Is it okay if I call you Harry?" she asked politely, sitting in a chair beside the bed.
Harry nodded, rolling back onto his back and staring at the ceiling.
"A week ago Draco came to me..."
Harry stopped listening, clinching his eyes shut as a voice inside his head yelled that only a week ago his Draco has been alive and healthy.
"Harry?" Narcissa asked worriedly.
Harry turned to look at her.
"He wanted me to give this to you." she held out her hand. Harry eyed the envelope before taking it from her slowly.
He turned it over to see the smooth wax Malfoy crest. He ran his finger off it briefly before careful peeling it open.
He pulled out the parchment, hands trembling as he opened it carefully.
My Dearest Harry,
If you're reading this then as you know I did not make it through the final battle. Please don't cry my love, it's all for the better. I know you don't think so and I love you for that, but it is. First and foremost I want you to know I love you. More than anything, I hope you believe that. Please move on Harry, I beg you. I saw what Snape's love for you mother did to him and i can't bare to think that someday that'll be you. I can just see you bursting into the DADA class room, robes flourishing, scaring the daylights out of poor first years and take unwarranted points from Slytherin.
Harry chuckled, reaching up to wipe the tears from his eyes as he continued reading.
I'll be waiting for you. Along with your parents, Dumbledore, and my crazy second cousin Sirius. Because of this, as a last request of sorts, I would be most grateful if you would pray they did not drive me completely bonkers before you get here. And believe me when I tell you, I am in no hurry for that day to come Harry Potter. I will happily and patiently wait for you, so please feel free to take your time. Although I will ask that you try and keep that absolutely perfect body in shape.
I know that my cracking jokes is probably driving you crazy but you have to understand that I'm not upset or sad Harry. This life is only one adventures of many. The only thing that would hurt me was if you spent the rest of your life in pain.
You were my angel while I was on this earth Harry James Potter, and now I'm yours.
I'll love you forever,
Your Draco.
Harry's trembling hands lowered the letter to his lap and he smiled slightly, tears falling down his face. He turned and looked a Narcissa.
"Everything is going to be okay," he whispered and Narcissa smiled through he own tears, nodding her head gently.
