Ginny's Secret
Harry Potter walked into his home to find his wife sitting at the kitchen table waiting on him. The divorce papers were sitting in front of her unsigned and in the Back of Harry’s mind two emotions stirred at once. One of those emotions was relief while the other was disappointment, the mixture of the two confused him but he said nothing about them and sat down at the table in the opposite chair to look at her.
Ginny said nothing for a few moments but took in her husband’s ragged appearance and how tired he looked. While she sat in the chair before him almost perfect with only a few hairs loose around her ears. She spoke softly her voce calming to his ears.
“Well I guess you aren’t cheating on me.. You would look happier… is it for the Aurthers? “
Harry shook his head on a sigh.
“No Ginny. This is something else and far more important. I can’t really explain it to you right now but I need you to trust me. I would never betray you like that you should know that. “
Ginny looked down at her fingers and her eye brows drew together. Something in the pit of Harry’s heart made his heart skip a beat as dread filled him. He spoke softly to her watching her every move.
“Ginny... Why would you think I would cheat on you?”
She stayed quite for a moment then picked up a pen to sign the papers sliding them towards Harry.
“Because I already have…”
Harry’s eyes went wide and he stared at the woman he thought he knew who still wore his ring. The only woman he had every given his heart completely too, and the only woman to cut it to shreds with only a few words.
