Truth will set you free
Harry didn't know what to do. He stood staring out at London, rain gently falling.

"Oracles are protected, not by the Ministry, but by ancient magic that doesn't allow anything to happen to them that isn't natural. They can get sick, but you can't hex them," Hermione explained as they walked into the Department of Mysteries.
They were quite certain a desperate search was going on for them at the moment. They had left the Hogwarts Express and simply walked out of the station.
Harry nearly lost the ability to breathe walking into the DoM, just weeks ago he had been here... ruining everything.
"Look, I have done research here before, well... in their library. Never actually in the DoM, but anyway, I am going to go in and see if I can find out about the Oracles that work here," Hermione told them as she pulled a notebook out and quill. "They may answer my questions if I tell them it is for a Hogwarts summer paper."
Ron and Harry waited for only a few short moments before Hermione was back, with the name of the Oracle that worked for the Ministry.
***********
"Harry, are you okay?" Hermione asked, gently lying her hand on his shoulder as he stared out at the night.
"I... everything he told me was a lie. He told my parents... everyone. None of this would have happened if he had been truthful, Hermione." Harry's gaze hardened as he thought about what the Oracle had just told them.
**********
"You are writing a paper on Oracle's, Miss Granger?" a thirty-something lady with long golden hair asked as she showed them to her living room.
"Well... not exactly, Madame Levse" Hermione stuttered.
"What exactly is this then?" she asked.
Harry took a deep breath and explained why they were there.
Madame Levse blinked in surprise.
"Well, telling you the wrong prophesy about yourself is very wrong! Let me remember," she said, closing her honey colored eyes and concentrating hard.
"The one with the power to balance the Dark Lord approach's. Born to those who have thrice defied him. Born as the seventh month dies. And he will have a power he knows not, power to balance light and dark. Power to finish the Dark Lords great plan. And he will be the Dark Lords equal, as brothers they shall be. The one with the power to balance the Dark Lord approach's. Born as the seventh month dies."
**********
"Why... I don't understand, if I am suppose to balance Voldemort out. I just don't understand any of it. What is Voldemort's great plan?" Harry spoke to himself, trying to piece everything together.
"I am sorry. You shouldn't have been lied to, especially about your prophesy, Mr. Potter." Madame Levse pulled a long chain with a crystal on it out of a stone box that was on one of her bookcases. "This is something only an Oracle can make, it is Protection Crystal. Oracles magic is quite different from regular wizard magic. This will help you in discovering the truth. In keeping you safe while you search for answers. Truth will set you free, Mr. Potter."
***********
"What are we going to do now, guys?" Ron asked as they walked down the stairs from the Oracles apartment. He had been quiet, trying to absorb everything. Now, like his friends, he just wanted answers.
"I think, we should talk to someone."
"Who, Harry?"
"Voldemort."
A/N: So, mysteries are unraveling and soon... people are going to connect...*wink* Reviews are good. An author should get 5 day to keep the doctor away.
