Chapter Two

I apologize if this chapter doesn't get us very far into the story, I'd expect to have a lot more dailogue and action happen once I get it set up. So bare with me. :)

As Draco walked down the middle of the Great Hall with the rest of the girls of Beauxbatons he could feel the eyes on him and the occasional finger pointed in his direction. Luckily he had expected that, being one of the only boys currently enrolled at Beauxbatons. Although Beauxbatons was not truly an all girl's school, it did have a primarily female student body. As a child Draco had always been a bit more feminine than the other boys his age, therefore; his parents thought he may fit in a little better at Beauxbatons than at Hogwarts or, Merlin forbid, Durmstrang!

Apparently not many people from Hogwarts knew that Beauxbatons did indeed accept students of both genders. Several students, Draco noticed, were holding back giggles and murmuring to their friends about the only boy among all the girls.

Oh honestly, you'd think they'd never seen a boy before. I admit I am, well, slightly less masculine than the average member of the male species but still it's just not that comical.

The blonde boy's eyes wandered around the giant hall as he walked. It was rather beautiful with the sky-high ceilings and the - Oh my, who is this?

Out of the corner of his eye Draco saw something, or rather someone, that made his stomach flutter. The most handsome boy he had ever seen had his eyes squarely fixed on Draco...and he looked impressed, to put it mildly. Their eyes locked and for a split second Draco didn't know what to do. His heart was practically beating out of his chest.

God his beautiful, green eyes are looking straight into my soul...or crotch, I don't know, it could be either one. I'm ok with both. Draco think of something fast, do something sexy-

Not having too much experience with this type of thing, Draco did the only thing he could think of. He winked right at his handsome boy.

Ooh, good one Draco, you definitely got him.

The girls (and boy) of Beauxbatons finally reached the long table designated to them and sat down gracefully at the front of the hall. They turned their heads up to look at the headmaster of Hogwarts who began speaking in a loud but kind voice. "Thank you very much for joining us here at Hogwarts, we wish your stay to be as pleasant an experience as possible. Now let us welcome Headmaster Igor Karkaroff and the students of Durmstrang."

Draco completely tuned this part out and stole another glance at the black-haired boy with the staring problem. Sadly, Draco's boy was facing the complete other direction and was talking to his friend who Draco noticed had the most unattractive flaming red hair he'd ever seen.

A thought flitted in his mind. Was it normal for a 14 year old boy to want to crawl into the lap of another 14 year old boy? Because that's just what Draco wanted. He just looks so strong and comfy, he'll keep me warm in this cold castle, among other things. Draco snickered and turned his attention back to what his new crush was doing. Draco wondered what they were discussing.

Across the Great Hall Harry was confused as all Hell. Had he seriously just gotten physically turned on by another boy? Wasn't this school supposed to be all girls? And why on earth was this boy so damned pretty? Harry vaguely heard Ron talking to him and realized this was the second time in one day that he wasn't paying attention to his best friend.

"So Harry, which one did you fancy?" Ron asked with a grin on his face.

"Oh...you know, er...the one with the blue robes and blonde hair." That shouldn't be too specific, Harry thought. He certainly didn't want Ron or any of the other guys to know he had sprung a woody over a boy. Oh god. Harry blushed.

An excited look made its apprearance on Ron's face. "Seriously mate?! Me too, now if that's gonna be a problem Har, you know I can back off if you're really into her. There are other fish in the sea, I'll move on." Ok, Ron was far too into this.

"Oh uh, no...honestly Ron, you go for her, I think I saw her look your way. Maybe she fancies you too, hmm?" Ron was too amusing.

"No shit! You think so, mate? Ok, I'm gonna approach her after these prats from Durmstrang get done with their warrior dance or whatever they‘re doing." Ron gestured to the students from Durmstrang who were also making their way toward their table at the head of the hall.

Harry considered even bringing it up but decided to risk it. "Ron, erm, so you're sure that one is a boy, right? I mean, I thought you said it was an all girl's school. Why is there a boy here?" and then quickly, "I was just you know, wondering, that's all."

Oh smooth, Harry. Nice one. You practically came out and told him you had a crush on a boy. Wait no, this is not a crush. I thought he was a girl. He is supposed to be a girl. Why is he not a girl with tits and long hair and...other girl stuff? His musings almost made him miss Ron's answer. "I don't know, I thought so too but that one is clearly a boy, a very poncy one but still. Let me ask Hermione. She knows everything."Now Harry regretted having asked in the first place. He didn't want to involve anyone else in his little issue, if it could really be considered that.

"Nevermind, let's drop it, it's not a big deal Ron. Don't bother Herm about it. So there's a stupid girly boy that goes to stupid girly Beauxbatons. Who cares? Not me, that's for sure." He finished, exasperated.

Ron gave him an odd look. "Oh uh, ok Harry. Don't get too worked up about it, mate, it's - oh look finally those Durmstrang weirdos are done."

Harry turned his attenton back to Dumbledore who welcomed Durmstrang in much the same way as he had Beauxbatons.

"Now that we are all here and seated," he began. "I'd like to make a few small announcements before our guests are shown to their rooms. Because time is running short this evening, we will have all the announcements regarding the Triwizard Tournament tomorrow morning during breakfast in the Great Hall. Students from our two visiting schools, we have placed you into classes that are closely related to the classes you would have been taking back at your home school. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance from any student here at Hogwarts, I assure you they will be honored to help. Thank you again for allowing us to welcome you into our school. Let us make this year, and your stay, a good one."

He then turned to the staff table and with a gentle smile asked, "Minerva, could I kindly ask you to show our guests from Beauxbatons to their rooms? I've arranged so that there are extra rooms across the hall from Gryffindor tower for them. And Severus I've increased the size of the dungeons adjacent from Slytherin so that our visitors from Durmstrang may stay there."

"Of course, Albus I'd be glad to." She responded and moved to get up.

Snape nodded his response.

Turning back to address the hall, who were patiently awaiting their room assignments, Dumbledore once again raised his calm voice to inform them. "If the students from Beauxbatons will please follow Professor McGonagall to the Tower next to Gryffindor, she will show you the rooms you will be occupying for the remainder of your stay. And Durmstrang students,” Dumbledore turned to face them. “Professor Snape will escort you down to the dungeons next to Slytherin..."

No, had Harry heard him correctly? His confusing/possible crush was going to be in the tower next to him? That's ok though, Harry could deal with this. He was going to get over it and find some nice girl to be infatuated with...right? Well, he would find out soon enough because students were now pouring out of the Great Hall and down the corridors to the house common rooms.

Thank Merlin it was finally over. This headmaster could really talk. Draco was simply itching to be dismissed. As it was he was already making his way behind Professor McGonagall and the rest of the Beauxbatons girls to their new rooms, never taking his eye off the back of black-haired boys head. So far so good, Draco thought, as the location of Beauxbatons' rooms seemed to be taking them both in the same direction. Maybe his handsome boy was Gryf - whatever it was.

Please let my rooms be next to mystery crush boy's, please-

His thought was interrupted when the crowded halls got a bit too crowded and Draco was accidentally pushed down head, more specifically face, first into someone's shoe. Somebody would pay for this.

"Ouch! Damnit, watch out!" Then arms, that's all he felt, someone was pulling him up. Oh pain, his eyes tried to focus. He lifted his head up to see who belonged to these hero-like arms.

Draco looked right up into the eyes of his black-haired boy, and then promptly passed out.

Thanks so much for all the reviews and nice comments! I honestly went to bed last night thinking that I probably wouldn't continue writing this because I didn't think it would be recieved well. But the wonderful reviews gave me the motivation to continue it. I'm also currently throwing around some ideas in my head about a post-Deathly Hallows one-shot so if I update a little slower that's one reason why. I have also come to notice that I use run on sentences about as much as I breathe. Which you know, is pretty often. So if you notice too many please let me know! Thanks. As always any advice is much appreciated. :)
