Sarah met Harry’s friends Ron, and Hermione on the train to school. she also meets Draco Malfoy on the train and figures he is just some jackass who thinks he is the man because he is a pureblood, Sarah is a pureblood and she thinks that no matter what you are it is only who you are that counts and Draco is very low on Sarah’s list. (Mental list of people she has met the higher they are the more she likes).By now the train has arrived at Hogwarts, and the start of term feast is about to begin. Sarah is to be sorted before the 1st years; Professor Dumbledore tells the school the Sarah is a 6th year transfer student from America. Professor Dumbledore tells Sarah to sit on the stool and he places the sorting hat on her head, the sorting hat said in Sarah’s mind “what house should you go in hhhhmmm, you would do well in all the houses but were to put you, I think you’ll do best in Gryffindor.”
Sarah was so happy that she was in Gryffindor that she actually skipped to the table in the misted of applause and laughter from the whole hall.
Now the sorting of the 1st yrs took place and Sarah waited anxiously to see what house her brother would be in. and as soon as the hat was placed on his head he was placed in Gryffindor and James went to sit with his very protective older sister. Sarah was sure she clapped the loudest, for her little brother. Now that the sorting has finished and the noise died down Professor Dumbledore stands and welcomes old and new students, and asks them to welcome the new DADA teacher professor Rachel Wisner. Now the feast can start and Sarah starts talking to Hermione, Harry and Ron. Sarah though she thought she would not make friends has become fast friends with Hermione, Harry and Ron, best friends with Hermione. At the end of the feast they four of them were about to leave when Sarah ask Harry Hermione and Ron to wait because she had to ask someone something, and with that she walked up to the staff table and right over to professor Wisner and said “Mom do you think that since the 6th yrs get to go to Hogsmead that I will get to go and if so when I go can I stop at the house to get something from my room, and when is the 1st Hogsmead weekend” “Sarah let me ask Dumbledore about the first thing and yes if your allowed you can go to the house and the 1st weekend is on September 14th” and she went to talk to Dumbledore and when she came back she said “yes you can go to Hogsmead and if you make any friends by the weekend you can take them to the house with you.” Sarah hugged her mother, and then she ran to Hermione, Harry and Ron and they asked her why she hugged a professor and Sarah just said “She gave me good news” and that was all she would say and she walk to the common room and went to bed. The next morning Sarah woke early and took a shower, brushed her teeth and got dressed, by the time she was done Hermione was waiting to get in the bathroom “So you’re an early riser too” Hermione said as she walked into the bathroom Sarah just said yeah and went to get her school bag with all of her patches and pins on it. Then she walked to the great hall for breakfast when she got to the great hall she finds that the only people in it are the teachers and Draco Malfoy, so Sarah decides that she is going to say good morning to her mother and the rest of the teachers and she walks up to the staff table and says “Good morning Mom, Professors” “Good morning Sarah” all the Professors say with the exception of Snape. “Sarah what did I say about calling me mom” her mother says. “That I am not to call you mom during classes and mom classes have not started and there is only one student in here so why does it matter now” “ok you’ve got me just don’t let it happen during class” professor Wisner said. Sarah went to sit down to eat her breakfast and when Hermione walked in and sat down across from her. “Good morning Sarah” said Hermione “Good morning to you Hermione” Sarah said with a happy tone. “What are you so happy about?” Questioned Hermione “I don’t know why I should be happy because I like Harry and I think that he doesn’t feel the same way about me.” Sarah said sadly “oh you never know about Harry he never shows any feeling because he is afraid of being hurt” “so you think he might like me” Sarah asked while she was talking Harry and Ron had walked over, “who do you think might like you? “ Ron said startling Sarah “oh no one” she said blushing “Good morning Ron, Harry” Sarah and Hermione both said at the same time. All Harry said was “Morning girls” “Harry is something wrong?” Sarah asked “huh oh yeah I’m fine I just had a very upsetting dream” “Is there anything I can do?” Sarah asked hoping he would say yes…
