The Desert Jewel

Later that night, we rejoin our three hero's in a huge, lavished room, filled with reds, oranges, blues, and golds;not like the throne room with its greens and silver's. They were dressed as if they were part of a Harlem. Harry was thinking that they might be. Raven was dressed in a light pink see through dress with darker pink pants and a crop pink top with a ruby drop that began where her upper stomach was. It was a nice contrast to her dark skin.

Harry was wearing a deep emerald vest and light green pants. Around his neck was a silver necklace with a snake pendent. Finally Ron was a dark violet jacket that had no buttons so you could she his muscular chest and light lavender pants. He had a familiar necklace as Harry, but with two cobra's intwined. He glared at the many women servants who was grooming him for his 'husband' to be.

"Listen to me,"he pulled his hand away from one."I don't care how powerful he is. How rich he maybe. Or how high classed he is, I won't marry him. And stop manicuring my nails! It's not like I have to do what he says because he said so."

The chamber door opened just than and Snape walked in with a sneer and a large box in his hands.

"A gift,"he hissed as he placed it in front of Ron."From prince Blaise. All the way from the south pole. Have a good night."

He clapped his hands together and the female servants followed him to the door. As soon as the door closed the three siblings huddle around the large package.

"I wonder what it is," Ron said as he continued to look at it.

"Didn't his brother said they weren't going to start until the morning?" Raven frowned, thinking back to that afternoon.

"Yeah, but maybe he just wanted a head start,"Harry turned to Ron."Well, go on mate. It is after all for you."

Ron gave the brunette a glare before pulling off the vial. It was a cage, a miniature version of the palace and inside was a baby penguin.

"Oh, it's a baby penguin," Raven squeal."It's so cute."

"Yeah it is." Ron smiled. He had a weak spot for babies and baby animals were no diffrent. He watched as Raven picked it gently and petted it's black head.

"I think it's a emperor penguin." Harry said as he looked at the babies features. (Dedicated to 'Happy Feet' :])

The little bird squawked. Raven cradled it in her arms."It's alright little one. I'm not gonna hurt you. What's this?"Raven opened the locker that was around the penguins neck and saw a picture of the same baby with a older version of it hugging each other.

"You miss you momma huh?" Raven asked. The little bird squealed.

"Poor little thing it home sick." Harry concluded.

"Well, I'm not to happy to be here either," Ron walked over to his brother and sister."We have to find our dolls and get out of here."

"How?" Raven asked."There might be guards at every corner."

"Still we have to take to the chance, come on."

Raven put the emperor back in to the cage and followed her brothers out the room.

They walked down the end of the grand hallway to another closed door. The three of them opened it to find themselves in yet another hall. Harry and Raven walked in but Ron stayed behind.

"Ahhh you two go on,"he said."I'll be right back. I just need to get something."

Not questioning the red head, thinking he was only going back for food, Harry and Raven continued walking down the hall. Harry looked around the dark room. He saw tapestries of snakes hanging form the ceiling and walls. Vase were Lind up where the tapestries weren't hung. He bumped into one and fell. The vase would've have crashed on him if it wasn't for Raven catching it in time. She put it back in place and glared at him as she helped him up.

"Why don't you just announce Harry,"she hissed.

"Sorry,"Harry smiled sheepishly. Honestly she had their mothers temper sometimes.

They went up to another closed door and opened it. There in the center was their dolls on top of a golden platform. Harry heard hissing and stopped Raven before she went in. Inside dozen of snakes slithered from the shadows. They gathered around the plateform. Raven gasped.

"Oh no. How are we going to get our dolls back?"She clutched at Harry's arm.

"Maybe I could talk to them," Harry walked a little closer to them."Excuse me, but would you mind if we just got our dolls back?We won't hurt you. We just want them back."

The only response Harry got was more hissing and one almost bite him. He ran over to his sister who looked worried.

"Are you okay?"He nodded his head."How are going to get them now?"

"We don't. Lets go."Harry walked pass her but she grabbed his arm.

"Wait a minute Har. You've heard a snake charmers right?"She waited for Harry to answer."Well, lets ah charm them."

Harry wanted to say something but couldn't, Raven could have a temper to match Runs. The snakes slithered closer. Raven hided behind Harry and begun to sing.

He hip checked Raven and they both started to sing. The snakes circled them and Harry held Raven close to his chest. She let go of Harry and batted her eyelashes at a particular large one. It hissed and she jumped. They started running around the room and Harry bumped in a snake. It caught him and started dancing. Another snake used it's tail to snatch Harry away and started doing the jitter bug. Raven smiled as one snake slithered by her. She grabbed the tail like it was microphone and sung louder.

They reptiles made a line and started doing the egyptian(I always thought that it was weird that they would do that.).Harry was in the middle getting down. The same snake that snatched him from the first one wrapped him around with his tail and spun him. He mouthed 'wow' before collapsing to the ground. Raven scratched the big ones chin. It hissed in appreciation and leaned in closer.

She looked up to see a clear path to the plateform.She looked over to Harry, seeing him dance with a green one. She ran over, letting the cobra land on his face.(Ha!:)) She grabbed him form behind and dragged him to the platform. He fell a couple of times but was fine. He helped her up with a few problems staying up right what with the extra weight and all. Raven grabbed the dolls. She looked behind her to see if any of the snakes had caught them. She smiled as she watched them do a weird, exotic dance on the floor. She gave half to Harry and they started to back towards the door, still facing the snakes. One slithered around them and winked.

"Hope to sssseee you ssssoooonnn young one,"I said to Harry before uncurling itself around them. Harry blushed and Raven wonder what it said. What ever it was must have been a flirtation or something of it.

Ron ran up to them with a ice chest in his hands. They looked around for a rope. Not finding one, Harry tied two giant cobra's together and threw them out the window(Yeah, don't try this at home kids.>_<,).Ron went first then Raven and finally Harry. They found their balloon along with their stuff and started flying away. When they were at least twenty feet off the ground Harry asked.

"What's in the ice chest Ron?"

"Uhmmm, just some cold things and sandwiches."

"Oh Ron,"Harry sighed."How can you think of food at a time like this?"

Draco and Blaise were lounging in their bedroom when Theo Nott came barging in.

"Sire! They've escaped!"

"Who Theo?" Draco draws, too relaxed to understand the mans urgentcy.

"The boys and their sister my lords!They took the dolls and left with their thing and balloon!"

"What!?" Both teenagers jumped off their beds and ran over to Theo.

"It's true! They aren't in their room and the snake chamber has been breached."

"Well go find them. I don't care if you have to by broomstick, find them!"

"Yes, prince Draco,"Theo bowed and left to summon a search party.

"They'll find them brother,"Blaise said reassuringly."They must've not gotten far. They could find a day or two away."

"I don't care, I want him back here. Tom can't have him."

"So this is why you want him here?So Tom can't have him?"His brother smirked.

Draco sighed. "No. It's just when we were visiting there that summer I saw a portrait of him,"

"That's not so bad."

"In a whole room full of thousands of other paintings of him."

"Oh,"Blaise sat down with his brother."So it's a obsession then?"

"Yes. Not only that but a maid told me that he had plans to ask his parents for his hand in marriage. Knowing Tom he would fuck him for a year or two and dump him for someone new."

"And you think you won't do that to Harry?"

"Of course I won 't,"Draco sneered at his brother."I would be some much of a better choice for him."

"And your going to prove it?"

"Like you will with that weasel,"

"Stop calling him that."

"I can't help it if he looks like one," Draco ducked a pillow that was chucked at him.

"Oh, shut up Draco,"Blaise said with a smirk on his face. Neither one saw a rat jumping out the window. Peter just has to tell Tom this.

Tom tapped his fingers on his staff as Peter continued to tell him what he heard. So little Draco knew about his plans?It didn't make any diffrence. Harry would be his. Even if he had to...take Draco out of the picture.
