Chapter 2
Lily woke at st. Mungos "Harry?" Lily said sitting up in horror.
Lily's back seared with pain and shwe all but screamed until her eye's feel upon Sirius who was sleeping in a chair next to a basinet.
Lily sighed in releif then got carefully out of bed pain ripping threw her back. Lily walked slowly over to the basinet and looked down at Harry who was smiling up at her and clutching on to sirius's finger.
Lily smiled then felt a swoosh of sorrow wash over her as she remembered what had happen.
Lily sobbed turning to walk back to her bed.
"Lily?" Sirius asked waking up with a start. Sirius took his hand from Harry gently and then stood up grabbing Lily helping her to her bed.
"Sirius my back it hurts so bad whats wrong with it?" Lily asked laying on her stomach on the bed.
"Lily you survived the Avada-kadavra Curse. No one knows how you survived, It left a scar on your back, where the spell hit you," Sirius said then handed Lily a glass of water.
"A scar cant we remove it?" Lily asked
"I dont think we should even if we could," Dumbuledor said from the door to the room.
"Pettigrew has escaped Sirius," Dumbeldor said regretfully. "Fuck," Sirius said then sat down angrily.
"Lily how did Severus get there?" Dumbelor asked. Lily shook her head in confustion, "I realy dont know Albus one minute i was holding Harry for his feeding and the next James was yelling for me to run, then all of the sudden Severus was there, he saved me i know he did," Lily said tears streamng down her face.
"Well Im not sure yet but i think your right. Mean while I would like you to come and stay at Hogwarts you can take Severus's job if you wish, but youll both be safe," Dumbeldore said.
"Work at Hogwarts? As the potions teacher?" Lily asked then sat and thought about it. she would be safe and so would Harry. Sirius looked stuned but happy.
"I accept but I need time to morn poor Harry has lost his father and I my husband and oldest friend," Lily said pulling the blanket to her chin. "Poor James, Poor Severus," Lily said and drifted into dreams.
"Severus?" Sirius asked Dumbeldore. "Yes Sirius they where good friends for years even before Hogwarts, but people grow apart dont they?" Dumbeldore asked then turn to leave.
"Albus may i visit her at Hogwarts, i am Harrys godfather you know," Sirius said
"Of course, and hopefully if Lily is up for it Im hoping she can help Mrs. LongBottem with her grandson.
"The longbottems? arnt they ok i thought they where gotten to in time," Sirius asked.
"They are alive but im afraid they are not with us in there minds," Dumbledor explained.
"James is to be buried in Godric's Hollow i presume?" Sirius asked looking even sadder.
"Yes, Sirius please help Lily with Harry and Neville the best you can ok, I know your young and not held down, but for some reason i have a feeling Severus saved you from somthing as well, dont prove me wrong and be takin away by death, dont do that to Lily," Dumbeldor said then walked out of the room.
Sirius looked down at Lily "I will always be there for you Lily" Sirius swore then looked at Harry and smiled, "And for you Harry," Sirius said with a small smile. Harry squelled with delite, semmingly understanding what Sirius had said.
