the rst of the day (chapter 2)

okay so here's the second chapter. Please review
Thank you ccino for your sweet comment. I very much appreciate it. I wanted to put this into another section but there's none for Daniel Radcliffe so Harry Potter is the only semisuitable one. Hope it doesn't annoy anybody.
Also I would like to invite people to join my forum at http://danradcliffefanfix.foren-city.de/, a messageboard for everyone who loves to read and write stories about Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter/ Equus.
There seems to be no proper fanfiction site oir archive on the net that provides these sort of fanfix so please come and join and let's create the best online source for Danfics.

A few people started to get up from their seats, two boys and a girl who couldn’t have been older than 16, most likely skipping school, an old lady with a walking frame, and the middle aged man she almost fell on. The young lad in the front covered his brown hair with a blue cap, a good decision as it was still raining outside. The bus came to a sudden halt and most people got off at Hammersmith’s, including the young lad.

When she got off the bus she was already half an hour too late. By then she needed a fag. Once again she rummaged through her handbag looking for a pack of smokes and a lighter. She pulled a cigarette out and put it between her lips as she walked on. She quickly came to realize that she hadn’t brought a lighter with her.
A few raindrops landed on the cigarette still in her mouth, making it wet.
The stepped away from the pavement and stood inside a house entrance for shelter.
Her mood couldn’t have dropped any lower as she stood there and watched the people pass by.
By then she considered just staying there for the rest of the day and calling work to tell them she was sick and couldn’t come.

Lost in thoughts she didn’t notice someone approaching her until they tipped her on the shoulder.
“It’s not on.” the young lad with the large eyes and blue cap said.
“Huh?” she asked facing him.
“Your fag.”he pointed to the cigarette she now held between her index and middle finger.
“Oh…uh yeah I haven’t got a lighter.”
He stuck his right hand into the pocket of his jeans and pulled a yellow lighter out. He lit it and held it out in front of her.
She placed the cigarette back between her lips and lowered her head slightly. She took a deep drag when the flame and the cigarette met.
“Thank you” she said before blowing the smoke out of her mouth, staring back at the street.
He nodded.
“Anyways I got to get going.” she then announced.

“See ya.” he shouted after her.
She turned around while walking on and waved at him.

Before her shift ended she and her co worker stood underneath the corrugated sheet roof sharing a cigarette.
“Could you give me lift home later on?” she asked.
He shrugged his shoulders “Sure, why not?”
“Good thanks.”
She took one last drag before handing the cigarette over to her trainee.
“When you finish do come into the office. It needs a good mop.”she told him before going back inside. It took her half an hour before she documented today’s work. But when she was done she quickly picked up her things and put her jacket on. Outside she waited for the trainee to come with the car but he never showed up.

Not really surprised yet quite annoyed she started walking, not sure whether she would still catch a bus. It was getting dark already and the streets were still wet from all the rain that fell down today. She wrapped her jacket tighter around her body as a whiff of wind blew into her face and danced around her shoulder length brown hair. It has gotten quite chilly.
She arrived at the bus stop and sat down on the bench. The cars passing by made sure not to miss the puddle near the pavement and making the water squirt over it every time.
She stared into space not caring whether there actually was a bus going to come or not.

She was distracted when suddenly a car stopped in front of her. She held on to her handbag and nervously looked into another direction pretending that she didn’t care and had nothing to do with the anything. It didn’t work.
The window lowered itself and revealed a familiar face with those large blue eyes she had seen a couple of times before that day.
On one side she was quite relieved that it was only him, a kid more or less and not some crazy drunk man trying to rape her…on the other side that kid started to freak her out because he showed up everywhere she was. ‘bollocks’ she thought to herself ‘I should be a bit more grateful to this boy….after all he saved my a** today’
“Hi” she greeted him now looking at him.
“Hi ya…..I don’t think you’ll get a bus unless you stay here until half past 6 tomorrow morning.”he grinned at her but she looked at her feet.
After a moment of silence he said:”you want me to give you a lift?”
“I don’t know….if it’s not too much trouble yeah.”
“Jump in” he ordered and so she did.
