Wash the Pain Away
Chapter Two: The Truth Hurts.
“Harry what is there to explain, you’re hurting yourself.”
Harry crouched down next to Draco and placed his unmarked arm around him and pulled him into a tight embrace.
“Why? You’ve got to tell me.”
“I know I said I’d explain but, it’s hard to put it into words.”
Draco looked up at Harry with pleading eyes and Harry knew that he couldn’t keep this secret any longer.
“Alright, I’ll try and explain it but, not tonight please I’m tired.”
Draco nodded his head and looked at Harry with his a tear stained face. Harry lifted his hand and rested it on Draco’s cheek and wiped away a falling tear with his thumb.
They both got up and walked to bed. Harry knew this and his reasons why would hurt his boyfriend. He wasn’t really tired , he just knew this would take a lot out of both of them. So he wanted both of them to get as much sleep as possible. God, he hoped Draco wouldn’t freak but, he that that was impossible.
Harry and Draco laid down together, Draco clinging to Harry more than usual.
“I thought you wouldn’t want to be near me.” said Harry sadly.
“I don’t but, I don’t want to be away from you more.”
“You mean you’re mad at me but, you’re more afraid of losing me? Right?”
“Right, because…..” Draco mumbled something inaudible that sounded to Harry like elephant juice.
“What did you say?”
“I said ‘I love you’.”
Harry sat there to stunned to say anything. He had known he loved Draco but, he didn’t know if the other boy felt the same way. Taking Harry’s silence as an answer Draco began to move away from Harry.
