Hermione sat in Professor McGonagalls officechair. Professor McGonagall was looking rather sternly at her, arms crossed, a worried frown upon her haughty features.
"So they actually attacked you? I never imagined taking points from my own house, but I have to discuss this matter seriously with Ms. Brown. This is a grave incident. Attack on a fellow student, threats, threats to BREAK a fellow students wand..I never.." She grew silent. Hermione was in shock still. She would never have guessed that Ron would be the reason for her first personal attack. Even Malfoy had only attacked her for being friends with Harry. She had thought it would be something far different. What, exactly, she didn't know. But a catfight?Over a boy?That sounded stupid, even inside her head..
"I suppose, Ms. Granger, that we need to find other sleeping arrangements for you. Sleeping in the same rooms as the girls that just attacked might be less than clever." Hermione nodded, she hadn't even thought of that. Being friends with Harry and Ron had always kept her somewhat separated from the other girls. That was before Ginny joined the school, of course, but they weren't that close.Not after the whole Cho-incident. Ginny had closed off after that, becoming more reckless, and more a member of the Hufflepuffs than the Gryffindors.
She never were a part of the gang..but she had never realised how far she was from the other girls.

"Here we are, Ms Granger. I know it's a weekend, so you probably wanted to spend this time with misters Potter and Weasley, but as you probably have homework, I suggest you stay in here untill Monday morning. As you may have noticed, your things have already been brought here. And you can rest assured,Ms Granger, no one can enter, before they give you password. " Hermione looked up at the suddenly maternal Professor McGonagall. "A password?" "Yes, Ms Granger. If you would be so kind as to select one." Hermione didn't want an obvious one. She sighed and muttered "Mudblood." Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow but didn't comment. "You will attend classes as normal on Monday morning, if you haven't been told otherwwise." Hermione nodded, looking around the Room for something of comfort,and as an answer,Crookshanks came pouncing down from the bed. "I'm terribly sorry this happened, Ms Granger. For now, rest. I believe Mr Potters elf will bring you your meals."
And then she was left alone.
