What it was like
“Okay so let me get this straight...Your job is to save the world everyday from the big bad guys, you have super powers and use it against Evil...”
“Yeah, basically that’s what I’ve been doing for eigh years...”
“Damn...To me Slayer was just a metal band!” Seena chuckled. She and Hermione were at the Slayer Academy with the Scooby gang. First there was Buffy Summers, Slayer-in-chief, short but tough, and way too uptight. Then there was Faith, another slayer, and member of what they called ‘The Chosen two’. Seena liked her, she sounded, looked and behaved like herself. Willow Rosenberg was a Wiccan witch, shy but very strong. Her girlfriend’s name was Kennedy, she was a sleyer too, from the ‘Rosenberg generation’. There was also Dawn, Buffy’s little sister and Giles, an old and weird Englishman. Hermione was really at ease with him, of course. And he was the headmaster of the academy. The two clowns of the Scoobies were Xander and Andrew, two comic book geeks but funny as hell.
“Always thought the Nemesis was Resident Evil’s big villain...”Andrew muttered.
The Slayer Academy looked like Hogwarts to Hermione, except that they were teaching how to be a Slayer, not a wizard. And it was not a gigantic castle either.
“What happens if Good is more powerful? You become a villain and try to kill the good guys?” Dawn asked.
“Well, not exactly. I’m supposed to, but I’m definitely a good guy now.” Seena chuckled.
“Why do you say ‘now’?” Buffy frowned.
“I tried to destroy my school, went all mad and scary. And I killed people, but they were very bad guys.”
There was a blank, everyone was looking at Seena. But suddenly, Willow, intervened.
“The same thing happened to me, exept that I tried to destroy the world. It’s no big deal.” She smiled and shrugged. It was Seena’s turn to be stunned.
“It was you?” She exclaimed. The others were looking from Seena to Willow and back to Seena as if they were catching a tennis game. “It was two years ago right?” The redhead nodded. “I felt it, a tremendous force, it was not completely evil but...I don’t know, it was filled with sadness and despair...”
“My lover was killed.” Willow said sadly.
“I’m sorry...” Seena replied with compassion.
“It’s okay.” Willow paused.
“So what do you guys do?” Faith broke the silence with her usual tact.
“Nothing much, we just moved in. Graduated from Hogwarts a few months ago and-”
“Hogwarts?” Both Giles and Willow exclaimed.
“Yes, for seven years. Actually, Seena arrived in our fourth year.” Hermione said with a smile and looked at her girlfriend.
“When I was in England during my recovery, I met this circle of Wiccan witches, they talked a lot about Hogwarts. They had a contact with someone in the school... I’m trying to remember her name. It was McDonald or something like that.
“McGonagall!” Seena and Hermione exclaimed.
“She was our Transfiguration teacher and Head of Gryffindor, our house.” Hermione realized none of them had understand anything she had said. “Houses are like teams, there are four houses : Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. There’s one professor who manages the whole team. Each student is Sorted at the beginning of their scholarship and will spend the seven years in one of the team.”
“I didn’t!” Seena interrupted.
“Yes, because you’d have killed Snape if you’d stayed in Slytherin.” Hermine laughed.
“Sounds complicated as hell!” Buffy frowned.
“Yeah, you can imagine how lost I was when I arrived there, especially after Hemery!”
“Time’s passed since then...” the blonde Slayer shook her head with nostalgy.
“Yes, but I’ll always remember your pink outfit. It was like radioactive! And the Fiesta Queen election!” Seena burst in laughter and soon Buffy did too. The others were staring at them with scared looks on their faces. After an hour or so, Willow finally asked the question.
“Would you want to join us? In the fight against Evil?”
Seena looked at Hermione whose face was lit up by enthusiasm.
“I guess we need some time to think about it and we’ll let you know.” The brunette quickly said. “And I think it’s time for us to get home, too.”
“Your choice!” Buffy said. The two girls said goodbye and left a few minutes after by vanishing to their apartment.

hey guys I'm back! sorry, it's been awhile since my last post but hey, holidays and all...so here's the next chapter and a couple of others, keep commenting! whether you like it or not
