Chapter 2 : Fitting in
Next morning, Malfoy and Seena had potion class with Snape, Draco’s favorite teacher. The brunette sat next to him and didn’t really speak during the first hour. When she raised her hand, every student in the classroom was surprise.
“Yes Miss Tariyo?” Snape said coldly.
“Sir, I’m really bored right now, can I get out of here?” Seena asked casually. She heard some Gryffindors giggling.
‘Potter and Weasley...’ They quickly stopped when Snape hit them with the book he had in his hands. With rage, he thumped his fist on Seena’s table.
“Maybe you come from some ghetto, but here there are rules, and respecting your teacher is the most important one. I guess you haven’t finished your invisibility potion yet?” the dark man muttered. And, indeed, Seena’s boiler was empty.
“Sir, I don’t need any cocktail for that.” She snapped her fingers and vanished. “See?” There was a silence you could cut with a knife. A huge tension was filling the air.
“I don’t see the point in coming at Hogwart if you don’t learn anything in class.” Snape was trying hard to control himself while invisible Seena was playing with one of his book.
“Nobody gave me the choice to come, I’ve been forced to. And it would be a pleasure to be expelled!” She said before slamming the dungeon’s door. Several minutes passed by without a sound to be heard. Then Snape put a hand to his greasy hair.
“Finish your potion in ten minutes or I’ll take one hundred points to each of you!” He shouted and the students immediately obeyed.

By the end of the day, Dumbledore was not surprise to see his staff bursting in his office.
“I can’t take it anymore!” Minerva McGonagall was screaming.
“It’s only been one day Minerva...” Dumbledore replied calmly.
“She’s unbearable! She humiliated me in front of my class!” Snape added furiously.
“And she turned a glass into a dragon, it was a small one, but it burnt Longbottom’s hair!” a very anxious Professor Flittwick exclaimed. Dumbledore was staring at them calmly while combing his long white beard.
“My friends, we all knew it was gonna be difficult to handle Miss Tariyo. I warned you that she’s instable and even dangerous. I know that she had already thwarted several spells of mine. She has a perfect control of her magic, and doesn’t understand the reason of being here. The Ancients ordered me to try to make her define her side. And for now, I don’t think she chose the Good. All we can do is try our best to put her back in the right way. We need her for the Final fight between the two forces of Good and Evil.”
“But how can we?” McGonagall sighed.
“Don’t answer back to her provocations, and treat her like a normal student.”
“But she isn’t! She’s not even human!” Snape insisted.
“She wants us to see her as a human being.” Dumbledore said quietly before looking by the window.

That night, Seena woke up in a hurry. Memories of her nightmare struck her, and it was when she heard her roommates screaming that she noticed her fists stuck in two wood pillar of her canopy bed. She immediately pulled them away and rushed out of the bedroom. She sat in the Slytherin common room and thought. Her roommates would tell everyone in Hogwart, she needed to find a good spell to make them forget this. Or maybe it would be better if they all knew who she was.
‘After all, they’re all afraid of me already...’
Several minutes passed by until she spotted Malfoy coming down from his bedroom.
“Hey” he said in a sleepy voice.
“Hey. Whatcha doing here?” Seena asked as she took a sip of her drink.
“I heard screams. What about you?” Draco sat in front of her.
“Couldn’t sleep.” The brunette replied casually.
“What’s your drink?” The blond Slytherin asked curiously.
“Cherry beer” Seena answered and Draco frowned.
“You mean Butterbeer?” Seena shook her head and took an empty glass in her hand. She muttered in a foreign language and soon the glass was filled with alcohol. She gave it to Draco.
“Is that Muggle alcohol?” Seena nodded and took another sip of her beer and so Malfoy did. “Not that bad for a Muggle drink. But I thought Dumbledore-”
“I broke his spell against any illicit product in the school.” Seena grinned as she was pulling out of her pocket a pack of cigarettes. She stuck one at the corner of her mouth and put her thumbs to it.
“Inpyro” she said and a flame appeared at the end of her thumb. Draco watched her taking a long drag of the cigarette and exhaling it. Usually he hated everything that was Muggle, but Seena’s actions didn’t bother him. In fact he was amazed by this girl and even felt attracted to her.
“Want one?” Seena offered. To his own surprise, Draco accepted and began to smoke calmly with Seena.
“You know...you’re full of surprises! I like that in a girl.” Malfoy’s words made the brunette chuckle. “Why are you laughing?”
“Draco...Sorry but you’re not my type...at all!” The blond boy looked offended.
“What do you mean?” He frowned.
“I don’t like boys.” Seena replied calmly while puffing, and Draco raised his eyebrows. He thought for a sec and then realized what Seena meant.
“Okay...” There was a long silence. “Anyway, why were the girls screaming? What happened?”
“I scared them with one of my abilities.” Draco frowned, not understanding. His eyes opened wide when Seena’s one turned black. “I’m not exactly...human...” The young girl whispered.

The next morning, Seena was sitting in front of the Quidditch stadium when Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Parkinson came to her.
“We’ve class with Hooch in ten minutes, she asked me if you knew how to fly.” Draco said.
“Yes.”
“Where’s your broomstick?” Parkinson asked.
“I don’t have one.” The four Slytherin looked dumbfounded. “But I have this.” Seena picked up a skateboard from her bag. It had no wheels, nor tracks. There was a red dragon on a black background on one side of the skateboard, and the words ‘No mercy’ and ‘ Shall not hope’ on the grip.
“What’s that?” Crabbe exclaimed.
“It’s my skateboard, why? Can’t I fly on whatever I want?”
“I don’t know, you should ask Hooch. Anyway, let’s go, it’s time to play Quidditch.” The Slytherins mounted their brooms and Seena stepped on his board. It was flying one meter above the floor. She spotted her class in the distance.
“See ya there!” she said and flew away at a speed Draco had never seen before.
‘I must tell the other about this, she may be a good Seeker.’ The blond boy thought before flying away as well. When he reached the spot where Hooch was having class, he heard his professor shouting.
“This thing is not allowed on a Quidditch pitch! Players can’t fly on anything but broomsticks!”
Seena was furious, even in P.E. she couldn’t practice sports the way she wanted. She flew off to the Slytherin building, not listening to Madam Hooch’s shouts behind her.
‘Damn, I really hate this place!’
