Chapter Two: From Potter To potter- Lupin From Weasley To Weasley- Black.


It was ten thirty Christmas morning, the first morning back for the Quartet in 1997. The night before Harry and Ron had both found something that had both of them in stitches. They found the Tux and bow ties Dumbledore had made them all wear for the valentine’s ball back in 1980.

They had notes attracted to the lapels. ‘Wear me, I will fit, and ‘I have been magically adjusted’ Harry and Ron had been doubled over clutching their sides. Remus and Sirius knew their pregnant fiancées would appreciate and see the amusing side to what they had done.

Unknown to them it had been Snape's idea, Malfoy had cracked up and agreed it would be hilarious to see how they would react. Plus Sirius, Peter, Snape and Lucius wanted to see, James, Remus, Harry and Ron wearing a black ribbon in their hair, and see how they liked it.

Harry and Ron had slept in Remus's set of rooms and Sirius and Remus slept in Sirius's set of rooms. Each of them did something they had never done before, they shared a bed with each other.

James, Lily, Peter and Petunia along with Lucius, Severus, Bellatrix and Narcissa had entertained Remus and Sirius until two thirty then headed to their own rooms. Hermione, Ginny, Michael, Oliver along with the Weasley brothers had entertained Harry and Ron until three a clock before going to their own rooms.

Fred, George, Charlie, Bill, and Michael didn't appreciate the fact they were going to have to tie their hair back with a black ribbon of all things. As they all had shoulder length hair, Michael and Charlie Weasley had hair down their backs.

Michael had no idea his own father was responsible for the reason he had to wear a black ribbon in his hair. If he could drench his father’s bed with sea water sea weed and tropical fish for not buying him a dog when he was fifteen, he surely was not going to bat a single eye lid before he got pay back against his father for this. His father had nearly killed him for what he did, but luckily for him his mother came to his rescue and saved his skin yet again.

Harry and Ron were currently getting dressed in the muggle Tux, which surprisingly still fit them. They grimaced as they tied back their hair with the provided black silk ribbon. They were both feeling extra nervous that morning, what if their morning sickness decided to make its self known during their ceremonies.

They had only stopped throwing up less then half an hour ago, they had been up since eight thirty. Madam Pomfrey had given them both a potion to help with their morning sickness. Ron was having a worse time with morning sickness then he did last time.

Ten minutes later Harry and Ron were ready to go, they both grabbed their wands and were on their way to the great hall. When they reached the entrance it was five to eleven. James, Severus, Lucius and Michael were waiting out side the double doors leading into the great hall.

James informed Ron with a smile "Albus as placed a spell on Sirius, and I'm going to place the same one on you as well. It is a spell that will allow you and Sirius to be in the same room as each other, but you won't able to see each other, but everyone else with be able to see both of you."

James said one short word and with a wave of his hand Ron glowed purple before he went back to normal. They then followed James as he opened the double doors and entered with the others following him.

When they entered the hall they noticed people such as Neville, Colin and Denis Creavey. Seamus Finnegan, Dean Thomas, Oliver Wood, Alice spinet, Parvarti and her twin sister, Lavender Brown , Lee Jordon, and Many other Gryffindor's and Hufflepuff’s and Ravenclaw’s were there.

None of them could believe how different both men looked, it was clear to everyone that they were both more then eighteen and was no longer teenagers. They had all noticed that with Hermione and Ginny, they were clearly women not little girls.

And last time they had seen the quartet both Harry and Ron did not have long hair. And Hermione definitely wasn't a blond, or Ginny didn't have hair that was both red and Blond at the same time.

Harry made his way down to the make shift isle that had been made where the chairs had been split into two sections, friends to the right and family to the left. Ron followed Harry while James sat to the left and Lucius, Severus and Michael went to the right. Harry noticed Dumbledore was also in a muggle Tux and his hair had been tied with a ribbon, as had his beard as well.

Dumbledore went thought the formalities before asking "Remus Jerome Lupin do you take thee Harry James Potter to be you’re lawfully wedded husband?" Remus replied without a second thought "I do." Dumbledore turned to Harry "Do you Harry James Potter take thee Remus Jerome Lupin to be you’re lawfully wedded husband?" Harry replied " I do."

Harry, Remus and Dumbledore then took out their wands and raised them before they started to chant an incantation at the same time. it was the incantation to create their wedding rings, Dumbledore was just blessing the rings.

After a few moments of chanting a bright white light surrounded Harry and Remus like it had done when they had created their promise rings all those years ago. A moment later two plain pure platinum bands appeared floating in mid hair surround in a golden glow, before one of the rings each floated over to both Harry and Remus, Harry step forward as did Remus.

Dumbledore then turned back to Remus and asked "Repeat after me "I Remus Jerome Lupin" Remus repeated "I Remus Jerome Lupin, take thee Harry James Potter, take thee Harry James Potter. To be my lawfully wedded husband, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, to have and to hold, for better or worse, for better or worse, In sickness and health, in sickness and health, until death us do part, until death us do part." Remus then took the ring Harry had created for him and took Harry's left hand and placed it on top of his promise ring.

Dumbledore then turned to Harry and did the same “I Harry James Potter, I Harry James Potter, take thee Remus Jerome Lupin, take thee Remus Jerome Lupin, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, to have and to hold, for better or worse, for better or worse, in sickness and health, in sickness and health, until death us do part, until death us do part." Harry took Remus left hand and placed the wedding band on top of his promise ring.

Both Harry and Remus would later find out both of their rings would have the inscription engraved in gold, FOREVER YOURS. Remus’s ring would have the initials HJP and Harry’s ring would have the initials RJL.

Dumbledore then cast a spell and said an incantation, binding Remus and Harry's lives and magic together so they were one. He then announced "I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss."

Remus and Harry turned to face each other before they step closer, and Remus gently cup Harry's face in his hands and captured his lips with his own in a gentle and loving kiss. Harry gently ran his hands up the sides of Remus arms. They parted after a few moments. Everyone cheered and clapped when they turned to face everyone.

Dumbledore announced shocking Remus "It gives me great pleasure to introduce Mr Remus Jerome Lupin and Mr Harry James Potter- Lupin." Harry chuckled at the stunned expression on his husbands face.

Dumbledore announced " I will be conducting the ceremony of Ronald Weasley and Sirius Black in five minutes time, so do not move, you can congratulate both couples at the reception." Five minutes later both James and Dumbledore removed the spells, so both Sirius and Ron could finally see each other.

Sirius smirked and said loud enough for everyone to hear "Nice ribbon love." Everyone laughed when Ron replied bitterly "Yeah well you were the first to wear one, you really must love you silk ribbons, want me to get you a pink one honey for your birthday?" Sirius snorted "Nah I think I'll pass on the ribbons entirely if you don't mind" was Sirius reply.

Dumbledore had gone through the formalities once again and for the last time he hoped for at least another seventeen years. He had turned to Ron and asked "Do you Ronald Johnathan Weasley take thee Sirius Christian Black to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Ron smiled and replied "I do." Dumbledore turned to Sirius "And do you Sirius Christian Black take thee Ronald Johnathan Weasley to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Sirius instantly replied "I do."

Dumbledore then turned back to Ron and asked "Repeat after me. Ron then took the ring Sirius had created for him and took Sirius's left hand and placed it on top of his promise ring.

Dumbledore then turned to Sirius and did the same "I Sirius Christian Black, I Sirius Christian Black, take thee Ronald Johnathan Weasley, take thee Ronald Johnathan Weasley, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, to have and to hold, for better or worse, for better or worse, in sickness and health, in sickness and health, until death us do part, until death us do part." Sirius took Ron's left hand and placed the wedding band on top of his promise ring.

Sirius and Ron's wedding bands were engraved in gold with the inscription "FOREVER" Ron's band would have the initials SCB, and Sirius's would have the initials RJW.

Dumbledore then cast a spell and said an incantation that binds Sirius and Ron's lives and magic together as one. He then announced " I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss."

Both Sirius and Ron leaned forward and met half way catching each others lips in a deep loving kiss. Sirius reached behind him and gently pulled the silk ribbon out of Ron's hair, before pulling away and grinning as he twirled the ribbon around his fingers.

Everyone Laughed and clapped when they turned to face everyone and Dumbledore announced. "It gives me great pleasure to introduce Mr Sirius Christian Black and Mr Ronald Johnathan Weasley- Black" Sirius head quickly turned so he was facing Ron, he smiled at Ron lovingly, Ron merely chuckled at his husbands reaction to the little surprise he had asked no one to reveal, as had Harry with Remus.

Sirius had replaced the ribbon in the back of Ron's hair, before he and Ron joined the others. During the reception Harry asked "So who's idea was it to have all of us worn the muggle Tux and silk hair ribbons from the valentine’s ball back in 1979?"

Snape smirked "I do believe that would be me." Michael glared disgustedly and hissed irritably through clenched teeth. Harry let out a bark of laughter "Oh my God, you’re a sadistic bastard. I love it" Harry said between his laughter. Snape looked smug and smirked at his son, who was currently sending death threats with a mere glance.

An hour later after Christmas dinner Harry, James, Sirius, Lily, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Peter hid behind a suit of armour and transformed into their Animagus forms. They waited a few moments until people noticed they couldn't find either of them before they came out of hiding and startled many of the guests.

They each ran around or flew in Hermione's case. Ron had startled Neville by making him yelp, but he didn't wet himself like Malfoy had. Hermione landed on Michael’s shoulder and hooted when he stroked her feathers. Michael asked "When did Hedwig get here?"

Lily jumped up on Snape, who almost had a heart attack at the unexpected move. Severus looked into the bright green eyes, frowned before his eyes almost bugged out of his head and he whispered "Lily?" The she wolf let out a bark in answer.

Severus mumbled "If you’re an Animagus which is news to me by the way. That means that the other animals are all Animagi as well, namely our missing members." Severus snorted at the other bark he received confirming he was correct. Lily got down and sat at his feet.


Sirius barked at Bellatrix and sniffed at her hand at her side. Bellatrix had looked at the dog in amusement and scratched it behind the ear. Peter had ran up his wife’s back and onto her shoulder, making her let out a startled scream.

Petunia turned her head to one side and came face to face with her husbands Animagus form Wormtail. Petunia swore the rat looked like it was laughing at her.

James stood in front of his younger sister Cordelia who had never seen her big brother in his Animagus form, sure she knew he was an Animagus, but she was not aware of what he actually turned into.

James sniffed at her hand and nuzzled it, when she had rubbed the side of his nose, he realised his baby sister smelted of lavender and vanilla. A very pleasant combination James thought.

Ginny went to her favourite victim Albus Dumbledore, knowing he would have a lemon drop for her. She had missed having them tossed to her by Dumbledore. Ginny meowed at Dumbledore and stared up at him with knowing chocolate brown eyes. Her ginger fur was currently streaked with blond tints.

She purred when Dumbledore gave her a knowing chuckle and scratched her behind one of her ears. He then reached into his pocket of his tux and brought out a lemon drop and un-wrapped it and tossed it to the ginger blond streaked cat, which jumped up like always and caught it in her mouth.

Harry rubbed up against his husband’s side before jumping up into his arms and licking his cheek, making Remus chuckle at his husband’s antics as flames. Remus said "Now get down." Flames shook his head and let out a whine. Remus laughed and shook his head as he affectionately kissed flames on the nose. Remus said "Geez I married an Animagus, whose form is a fox." Flame’s eyes were a light with amusement.

Before the unexpected victims knew what had hit them, they were face to face with the human forms of the animals they had just been interacting with. Severus snorted when the she wolf disappeared to reveal Lily Potter.

Bellatrix had nearly shit herself when the dog disappeared and she came face to face with her cousin, the one and only Sirius black. She had glared at him, while Narcissa giggled at the way her sister had handled that.

Hermione had flew off Michael’s shoulder and transformed right in front of him and looked smugly at the dark haired man when he nearly jumped a foot in the air.

Ginny transformed back into her human form and suckled on the lemon drop, as she smirked at her brothers who were gaping at her. Ron had been sitting in front of Neville making him feel uneasy as he just stared at him. Neville had nearly jumped out of his skin when the large panther reveal it's self to be Ron Weasley- Black, who grinned evilly.

Peter ran back down his wife’s back and stood behind her as he transformed and wrapped his now human arms around her. She let out a startled yelp and smacked her husband on the arm as he chuckled into her neck and placed a gentle kiss behind her ear.

Cordelia had let out a startled shriek when she found her hand on her brothers nose instead of the stags, she starting whacking him, as he laughed and tried to fend her off at the same time "James Landon Potter, you rotten evil git. You just petrified twenty or more years of my life" Cordelia growled at him. Everyone who had seen what had happened was laughing.

Harry got down out of Remus's arms and transformed into his human form and cuddled into his husbands warm and inviting arms. He laughed as he watched his father finally escaped his aunt’s reach and went into one of the safest places, his wife’s arms. Cordelia complained to their parents but they were far too amused to do anything about it.

After Harry and Remus shared their first dance together as a married couple, Sirius and Ron followed suit. After an other hour or so it was around three thirty in the afternoon and the reception ended, and everyone either went back to their common rooms or their own personal rooms, like Fred and George had with their husbands Oliver and Michael.

They along with the others went into the room of requirement to open their Christmas gifts. After everyone had finished opening their gifts, Harry and Remus and Sirius and Ron went back to their own rooms until the next morning.
