Severus lay propped on his elbow, watching her sleep, more than a little overwhelmed by the events of the past several hours. What had possessed her to continue exploring him once the potion wore off? Or to initiate two more rounds of lovemaking? He started, realizing that he had referred to it as “lovemaking.” He had never been with a more affectionate or curious partner. Perhaps the potion had been made incorrectly and its effects were transformed? Lost in thought, tracing the edges of her body with his eyes, he didn’t notice that she had awakened and was watching him look at her, her chocolate eyes flooded with warmth. When he caught her eyes and was startled, she smiled and reached her hand up to caress his shoulder.

“Good morning,” she murmurred, and leaned forward to place a gentle kiss along the edge of his jaw.

“Indeed.” He smiled back at her, slipping his arm around her waist. “A most excellent morning, after an even more satisfying night.”

“Mmmm, I thought your voice was yummy in class, but it’s absolutely irresistable in the morning.” She squirmed a bit, wiggling closer to him and sliding her leg across his thigh. He let out a pleased noise and nuzzled her neck.

“Speaking of morning, I notice that you do not appear to hate either one of us.” He felt her shiver as the vibration of his voice rumbled against her skin.

“On the contrary,” she said. “I believe I may just like you better than I ever did before.” She rubbed her legs against his and clutched at his shoulder as he continued to nibble on her collarbone. “Your…demanding…side is much more appealing in a lover than it is in less…intense relationships.” Severus chuckled, dragging his mouth along her sternum, pressing her into the bed and pulling the sheet away to reveal her breasts. She gasped, moaning a little and burying her hands in his hair. “Severus…”
