Severus woke the next day after a terrible night. He had a horrid hangover from the sleeping draught, which hadn’t had much of an effect, and exhausted from lack of sleep. His mind had started to play tricks on him. He had dreamt all night of a soft, curvaceous woman, sliding into his bed and curling her long legs around him, chestnut curls spread on the pillow as she whispered his name. Her skin had felt like velvet and her breasts been soft and warm against him. She had stroked at the dusting of hair on his chest and played with the trail that followed the middle of his torso down to his manhood. She had made him hard in an instant. Then she had started to play with him Long fingers wrapping themselves around his hardness and making him groan with pleasure, then just as he was reaching his climax she would disappear, only to leave him desperately trying to reach that climax over and over again. Severus’ body ached, he needed a wash and a pepper up potion.

A little while later he sat, deep in thought at his kitchen table, sipping at a strong black coffee. He needed someone to talk to, even if it were just as a friend. There were domestic tasks that he found extremely difficult to perform. After years of having a house elf, he struggled to perform even the most simple of ironing charms, and his stain removal charms were abominable. The only thing he could do with any degree of proficiency was a scourgify charm. He had perfected that during his years as a potions master. He sighed as he picked up a quill and started to write an advertisement for a housekeeper. It wasn’t exactly what he wanted, but it was a start.

She sat and curled a strand of chestnut hair through her fingers as she remembered the dreams she had given him the night before. It had been worth it staying up until way after midnight to share those visions with him. She had studied long and hard to become an accomplished Leglimens and it had been well worth it. She had worshipped this man from afar for almost ten years, and just as it had seemed as if he might start to open up, he disappeared. It had taken her a long time to track him down and now that she had she was going to enjoy it. She smiled as she remembered how he’d gasped as she’d slipped into his mind, and his bed, groaned as she’s writhed her body against him and moaned as she’d wrapped her fingers around his hard cock.

She rose and walked to the penseive on the other side of her cramped apartment above Diagon Alley. Holding her wand to the side of her head, she removed the strands of silvery memory of last night and placed them carefully into this brand new penseive. She treasured these memories just in case her plan went to pot. Her plan was intricate and it could fail at any point, but she certainly didn’t intend it to. She never failed. When she wanted something, she got it.

Severus had given up on his hunt for a housekeeper. No one was willing to move so far out into the middle of nowhere, so Severus decided to go back to his apartment in Diagon Alley. It was the middle of the wizarding world, and he had always loved the sheer magic that the place seemed to posess. He would be close to the bookshops, would have company if he desired and he might even find someone who actually wanted to spend time with him.

Even Severus had to admit that it felt good to be back in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the crowded street of shops and the small dark alleys running off it. His apartment was not spacious. It was one of four above Madam Malkins’ shop and had a good view of the busy crowds down below. He had only space for a few books, and a small potions bench. There was a small kitchen and a bedroom and bathroom and that was it. It had suited Severus extremely well while he had been a student, but he had almost forgotten about the place. He had kept the place, mainly because it was such a hassle to sell the place. Severus felt much better now that he was back in wizard’s robes. He had begun to tie his hair back, just as he had in his student days, before he had made his worst mistake. He felt like he had the rest of his life ahead of him.
