Disclaimer: Covered in the first chapter
Author's Note: I forgot to thank my lovely beta Mad Hatter in the last
chappie, so I'm doing it now. You know I love ya baby. Also, I'll be
using the names of Emilie Autumn songs as chapter titles every once in a
while. Also, the name of the chapter is the name of the enclosed song.
Chapter 2: Swallow
August 6th, 2005. Kitee, Finland
CC was sitting in the living room listening to the band practice when
she heard the tell-tale pop of someone arriving by a Portkey. when she
turned around, she saw her mother standing there with a look on her face
that told CC that she was going to be getting a lecture.
"CC, we need you to come home immediately."
"What?!?! But you now I can't right now...Well, I can, but only if
Tuomas comes with me...There’s no telling how long I'll be gone and I
don't want him to be any kind of pain."
"Then go and get him...NOW!!!!"
CC ran into the rehearsal room and dragged Tuomas away from his
keyboards, a very difficult task since he had them arranged so the keyboards
trapped him in a corner.
"Babe...We need to go, now."
"Now?"
"Yes, my mom's here and I know that she wouldn't come here to pick us
up unless it was important."
"Well, let me grab some stuff and we can be on our way...Do you need
anything?"
"Nope, I've got plenty of clothes and I've been wanting to pick things
up from there in any case."
In a few minutes, they were in Portland. And CC needed to know why she
had been called back so quickly.
"Mom....What's going on here?"
"There's been a...problem. It seems that Tony is a wizard...And he's
starting to strike out at Muggles."
"Wait...Tony a wizard? That's not possible..."
"Actually, it is. Your Aunt Hermione did some research and found out
that there was a second family that are the heirs of Slytherin... Tony is
the last descendant of that family. It seems that they have ways to keep
their powers hidden away from everyone..."
"So this means..."
"That there is a good chance that your ex boyfriend will be the next
Dark Lord," Tuomas interjected.
"I'm sorry, but I need a few minutes to myself to figure everything
out....I'll be in my room."
When she got into her room, the first thing that she did was go through
her CD's until she found the one that she wanted.
"Emilie Autumn....How I've missed you," CC said to herself.
She turned on her stereo and found the track that she wanted to listen
to and started singing along.
"I will swallow

After the song was over, CC realized that her door was open and that
Tuomas was looking at her.
"You know, you have an amazing voice...Have you ever considered
singing professionally?"
"At times, but then real life tends to kick me in the ass."
They both laughed at the thought. Then Tuomas wrapped his arms around
her and just sat them both on the bed.
"Tuomas.." CC started, "Why? I mean, he treated me like shit the entire
time that he and I were together...But I know that I could never even
try to kill him....I just can't do it."
"Darling, it's not like you’re the only person that's going to be facing
him...In fact, everyone is showing up as we speak. We're going to put a
plan together and we're going to get this done and over with as soon as
possible. But I think everyone wants to start planning right now."
"Tell them I'm sorry...I just can't right now. I hate being
empathic...I can still feel everything that he can. And now it's nothing...He's
cold...Shallow. I just need sleep..."
With that, CC laid down on the bed and fell asleep. And there were
several reunions going on in the rest of the house.
"Hello Severus."
"Hello Remus."
"Are we really going to keep up this facade? It's been years since
we've truly hated each other, Severus. We could even call each other
friends at this point."
"Don't count on us being friends, Remus. I still think that you’re a mangy
creature that should have been put to death years ago. I just brew that
potion for you so you don't kill any innocents. Now, I'm sure that we
have other matters to attend to. So I'll be seeing you later."
A few feet away, Andi and Niki pulled off Harry's Invisibility Cloak
after they were sure it was safe.
"Andi..."
"Niki...Their old enough to be our grandfathers!!"
"I know that you think that Lupin is hot...And I'd fuck the snarky
bastard any day...Are you in?"
"Eh...I don't know...What the hell. It's not like we're going to be
hurting anyone any way. Plus, they are hot for their age."
"Well, we need to make a plan...Don't we?"
