Chapter Two

He sat on the couch looking into the fire taking a sip of his whisky on the rocks. There was a small tap at the door and he swung his head around to find Hermione wearing nothing but a pink see- though lacy negligee and silver heels. “A little nervous” She squeaked. Draco smiled and put his hand on her elbow “What happened to all that Gryffindor courage? He really isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be.” Draco said trying to comfort her.
Hermione managed a small smile back at him “Yeah ill be fine” she finished as they stopped in front of two quite large mahogany doors. Hermione noticed the gold tile on the middle of the door it read ‘Jeffery Stallion’. Draco opened the door and motioned for her to go in. She took a deep breath and walked through the doors.
Jeffery’s office was amazing it was almost the size of a small house. The walls were cream with a dark red feature wall behind his large mahogany desk. There were two black leather chairs sitting in front of his desk. Draco walked towards them and sat down motioning Hermione to do the same.
“He should be here soon.” Draco leaned over and whispered. He grazed her exposed arm and she felt the all too familiar throbbing return to her middle that she felt whenever Draco was around her.
About 10 minutes later Jeffery walked through the door, he was tall with dark brown hair and tanned skin. He had brilliant big blue eyes and looked around the age of 30. In Hermione’s opinion he was very good looking. Draco stood up and shook Jeffery’s hand “Hello Jeff how are you?” he said with a smile.
“Not to bad Draco how about yourself?” He smiled. Hermione also was standing at this point and Jeff caught sight of her.
“This must be Hermione, the newest member to our team.” He said enthusiastically putting his hand out for her to shake. She took his hand and lightly shook.
Jeff motioned them both to sit back down as he moved around his table and sat in his own chair. “Alright well let’s get down to business shall we.” His warm demeanor suddenly diminished and replaced by and icy one. “There is a new company opening up in Thailand called ‘Yin proprieties’ I want their business. That’s why I want both of you to go over there and make a proposition to them. Reel their business in.” He exclaimed making a motion with his hand pretending to reel in a fishing line.
Draco cleared his throat “Sir, why us two you have plenty of sales staff that are free to go?” Jeffery’s expression changed back to warmth.
“Draco, no matter how much you want to deny it I know it was you who closed the deal with National Corp. I had all my sales staff working on that client and in the end it came down to you. You have that special touch Draco and I know you will get ‘Yin Properties’ they have proved to be quite tough so far. He finished.
“Why many thanks to you sir but with all do respect Hermione has only been in the company for a week. Her product knowledge and training is not up to sales standards yet. If they asked her any questions she would seem incompetent because she wouldn’t know the foundations that support out business.” Draco replied
Hermione was momentarily stunned she had no idea Draco was so literate and quite frankly it was turning her on. She turned to face him raking in his image as he continued talking to Jeff.
“Well I to think Hermione is very capable of learning about our product in a fast rate but you are expecting us to leave in three days. If you want both of us to go, give me more time to teach her.” Draco huffed
Jeffery looked like he was taking into consideration the points that Draco had brought up. His thumb and forefinger massaged his chin whilst his eyes were absently looking out his large window.
He turned back to them.
“No you will both be going in three days. That does all now leave my office I have work to do. Oh Draco talk to Cathleen about flight and accommodation arrangements.” Jeff stated
Draco got up from his seat and scowled at Hermione as he stalked to the door.
