Leaky Cauldron
Chapter Two: Leaky Cauldron
It has been a year now since the death of the famous Albus Dumbledore. And students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were still grieving over his death. And now two weeks into the school holidays the student’s parents were meeting at The Leaky Cauldron with The ministry to work out what would happen to the school and its students. Among the parents were a few students as well. Manly seventh years, and one of them was Albus Dumbledore’s granddaughter Buffy James Dumbledore.
But until last year, the students at Hogwarts didn’t know that Buffy was Dumbledore’s granddaughter. They just knew her as Buffy James. Before Dumbledore was murdered by Professor Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy. Snape let it slip about who Buffy really was when they were in yet another argument in Defence Against the Dark Arts.
Flash back
“Sit down Miss James” Snape snapped as he looked at a young brown eyed, brown haired girl who was standing in front of him. In front of the class. Her name was Buffy James.
“Who do you think you are?” Buffy asked, “you can’t talk to people like you were talking to Neville. His trying his best and you bring him down”
“Oh… Neville’s got himself a girlfriend” Draco Malfoy smirked as he looked at the beautiful girl standing beside him.
“Oh Blow it out your arse Malfoy” Buffy snarled as she turned and looked at him.
“That is ENOUGH Miss Dumbledore” Snape said without thinking.

At The Leaky Cauldron. Buffy was pushing for the school to remain open with Minerva McGonagall as the Headmistress. Professor Slughorn as Potion Master. And yet again, Remus Lupin as the Defence Against the Dark arts teacher. And also Slughorn, for the time begin, to be head of Slytherin until a replacement can be found.
The Ministry talked this over among themselves before they agreed with Buffy’s request. But there were a few constellations. Which were:
1. The heads of each house share a common room on the seventh floor.
2. Everyone who was in sixth year last year MUST return.
3. Hogsmeade trips, for the time begin, are only for sixth and seventh years.
AND
4. Draco Malfoy is allowed back in the school. No questions asked. And he will be Head boy of Slytherin house. Plus he was a full on bad boy death eater now and now one was to pressure him about it.
If these constellations were not agreed to then the school would not be reopening. So the Professor’s, parents and the student that were in the Cauldron talked it over and come to a conclusion that would be best for everyone. They agreed to the rules that the Ministry set down. Even though they weren’t happy about some of the rules, they still agreed.
Once the meeting was over and done with. Everyone left the Leaky Cauldron. All except Buffy and Professor McGonagall. They stayed behind and talked about what had just gone down and what they agreed to.
“I can’t believe we agreed to that” Buffy said as she sat down on a seat near her, “We just let that…that punk back into the school after what he did.”
“I know…But all we can do now is let people know that the school will be re opening…” Minerva said as she looked at Buffy as she placed a hand on her shoulder, “For now why don’t you enjoy your holidays as much as you can. And work on controlling that power of yours” She smiled then walked out of the Pub/Hotel. Closely followed by Buffy.
The power that McGonagall was talking about was Buffy’s power of telekinesis. To move things with her mind and make things appear out of thin air. With no spell and no wands. She had gotten the power from her mother. Who past away two years ago. Her mother was a powerful Auror who no-one knew was Dumbledore’s granddaughter. And Buffy found out that she had this power, again, last year during the Death eater battle at Hogwarts. When she was chasing Fenrir Greyback, after he attacked Bill Weasley.
As she was chasing him, all she was thinking about was that she needed a pure silver knife or something spare and silver. And with a blink of an eye a pure silver sharp knife appeared in her right hand. Not knowing what happened, Buffy hesitated before she threw it. But the knife only wounded Greyback as she waited to long before she threw it.
Back in London. Buffy walked into her small apartment, which was two streets away from the Cauldron, and sat down on the lounge after closing and locking the door. It was a typical muggle home. Filled with the latest electronics and furniture. Buffy wasn’t one who wasn’t proud to be a pure blood witch but she loved the muggle things, clothes and music. She was different to all the other girl’s at Hogwarts. Her skirts were shorter, pants were a arrange of tight and baggy. And she loved backless halter neck tops and tank tops. Plus Buffy was a skilled dancer, singer, gymnast and fighter. So she knew how to look after herself. Buffy also has her tongue and bellybutton pierced. Even though her granddaughter was against it. But hey like I said. She’s not like all the other Hogwarts girls.
