I hope you liked the story, I know that it was a poor story please do review, even if you have no good words to say I’d like to read them. I want to improve my story. Here is chapter 2 hope you like it.


CHAPTER 2: The Golden Orb.

“Harry you will have lie down so that I can perform the whole checkup on you.” Madam Pompfrey (hope the spelling is right.)
Harry lies down and the nurse does her magic.
“So is it what I thought it was?” Albus questioned the Nurse.
“So it seems Headmaster. Harry please try and keep your emotions in check so that you will be safer.”
“But Why?” Harry asked.
“I think the Headmaster will like to tell you that.” She informed him. And then she left the room to write up the notes for his student file.
“Headmaster….?”
“Harry, magic in a person is limited to his mental and physical limitations. So if one of these elements in a person is below par of what it should be then the body takes on itself to rid off the excess power.”
“And what does that have to do with me?”
“Well you see Harry, even though your mental ability is beyond par your physical limitations are way below of what it should be.”
“So you are telling me that because of the abu… I mean the treatment at my uncle’s place I am not physically capable of handling the amount of magical power I am supposed to handle now? Is that it?”
“Yes, but there is more. You see in the magical world at sixteen you start growing into all your power and this growth stops at seventeen when you become an adult, with all your magic. So your body is even rejecting the growth or the unbinding as some call it.”
“I see. Is there something that we can do to reverse this? I mean magical growth or using magical objects to hold the excess power that can be later transferred to me or something.”
“Yes there is something you can do to reverse it but not what you mentioned. Harry what do you now of soulmates?”
“What I learnt in class. That they complete the other person do soul and the number of soulmates varies depending on how many soulmates you have. They help in grounding the magic and elongating life years.”
“Good, there is more. Soulmates also help in storing and channeling magic. Like in your case the mate or mates would store the magic in them and you could channel it through them or use it and channel it through you using small amounts of it. And when you are ready for it physically you could claim it back.”
“I see.”
“But, there is a complication in your case, you already have a bond with Voldemort so he can claim your power and in the process kill you. You have till your birthday that is one week from now.”
“Perfect. How do you find your soulmate or mates?”
“Three ways: potions, spell or using your innate magic.”
“The easiest and the shortest way professor?”
“Innate magic. But this way can be slightly painful to all the parties involved.”
“What do you do?”
“You find your magical core inside you and then will it to bring your soulmates to you here. You will be in a coma till they come to claim you.”
“How can you be sure that I have more than one soulmate?”
“Harry you are very powerful, one person will not be enough to ground your magic.”
“I see and when do you want me to do it?”
“Now if it is fine with you, that way if these people are far away then; they have time to make it here before the end of our time limit.”
“Ok. Here I go.”

Harry lies back down on the bed, closes his eyes and will himself to find his core. He finds it. It looked like a crystal ball from which slowly rays of light were pushing themselves out. It was the most beautiful thing Harry had ever seen. He went close to it and touched it with his hand it was cool to touch. And willed it to find his soulmates and to bring them to him in his time of need. He saw two strands go out; then he sat down next to his core to wait.
