Tainted Soul

Rose was holding her books in front of her as
she walked through the Slytherin’s common room.
“Look here guys the one and only Rose. I heard
that you ran away I thought that it was the right thing
to do. I mean being friends with Weasley was bad
enough but now you are in both Gryffindor and Slytherins.
You know the right one to choose and you better choose it and fast.”
She turned and looked at him. Then she smiled a sick
cold smile. “I remember what you and your friends did
to me and I will kill you for it. I will kill you for what you
did to my body and soul. You think I don’t know that it
was you three. You think I don’t remember how you used
me time and time again. Believe me I remember and I will
kill you before it is over.” She whispered to him before she
turned and walked away.
“We should have killed her when we had our chance.” Draco
hissed to the other two as she stepped out of the common room.
Harry and Ron were waiting for her and she turned and walked
away from them. “Can’t everyone just leave me the hell alone
just for a day? That is all I am asking for.”
“Sorry but we got orders that we got to watch you. Snape seems
to have gone crazy or something.” Ron said to her.
“Snape isn’t the one that I am worried about. Draco is the one
that I want to kill.” She whispered to them.
Harry looked at her in horror but she didn’t say anything more.
“Don’t ask because I am not ready to tell.”
They both nodded as they headed into the great hall. Hermione
was waiting by the door for them and she started to walk with them
to their table. “I can’t sit here until tomorrow. So I will see you guys
later after classes.”
She turned and walked to the great hall door. “Where do you think
you are going by yourself?”
“Fred if you don’t let me go I swear to god I am going to go off. This
is why I left THIS IS WHY I RAN AWAY FROM EVEYONE! I don’t need a
babysitter every fucking hour of every fucking day. I need to be alone
and if none of you understand that then I will be leaving again. Fuck
finishing school.” She shouted.
Everyone in the hall stopped and looked as she pulled away from Fred.
He was blood red and she didn’t care as she stomped away from everyone’s
glare. She knew what they were thinking and honestly she didn’t care what
they thought about her. They weren’t the reason she was back. All she knew
was if another person tried to watch her to day she was packing her things and
fucking leaving. There was nothing that she needed to worry about. Now she
really wanted to be in Krums arms and feeling safe. But she won’t feel that for
a long time. “Miss Geller can I speak with you for a moment?”
“No I don’t want to talk or speak to anyone at the moment. I just want to be left
alone damn it. I just want some time to myself without having to worry about
someone watching me all the time.” She said as she passed Dumbledore.
“Rose you have to understand that we are worried about you.” He said to her.
“Why worry about me I have done good so far so don’t worry about me now.
There is nothing about me that you need to worry about. The one you need
to worry about is Draco because he might just disappear sometime soon.”
She hissed before she walked away from him.
Dumbledore looked after her as she raced to the pond. “Draco had something
to do with what happened to her. He was in one it.”
Dumbledore turned around and looked at Snape. “I think that you might want
to stay away from her for awhile Snape. She is going through stuff that not
even we can help with.”
“Or I will sit back and wait but we will talk before it is all said and done.”
Snape said as they watched Rose sit down above the water.
“Did you know that she could do that?” Dumbledore asked him.
“No I didn’t know she could float above the water.” Snape said to him.
“There are many things that you two don’t know about her.” Lupin said to them.
“What are you talking about?” Dumbledore asked him.
“I mean she has powers that no one know about.” Lupin said to them.
“Then how do you know about them?” Snape asked him.
Lupin glared at him and growled. “She talks to me every night dumb arse.”
Snape looked at him in shock. “She use to talk to me all the time like that.
Now she is talking to you. I can’t stand this anymore. I am going to talk to her now.”
“NO you aren’t. She doesn’t need you to be jealous of all this and go after
her like that.” Dumbledore said to her.
Snape hissed and walked towards the pond. “Don’t make me take you off
the staff Snape.”
“Fine I will talk to her and none of you will be able to stop me when I do.
But I will let it go for now.” Snape said before he walked to the hall.
“He is becoming obsessed with her.” Lupin said to her.
“Well he is in love with her and she won’t even give him the time of day.”
Dumbledore said to her.
“Yeah and she loves him to but she also has another love in her heart.” Lupin said to him.
“Yes I know all about Viktor.” Dumbledore said to him.
Rose looked at the pond with sadness in her eyes. She missed Viktor and
she wanted to be with him at that instant. She wanted him to hold her and
tell her there was nothing to be afraid of but they both knew that it wasn’t
true. “Would you like to talk?”
“No Harry I don’t want to talk.” She whispered to him.
“I wish we were close like we use to be.” He said as he sat down.
“Remember the day we met?” She asked him suddenly.
“How can I forget it? I mean you walked into the hall and everyone
stopped talking. Hell Draco fell out of his chair from trying to get a
better look at you. Ron was actually so shocked that he stopped
eating and it takes a lot for him to stop eating. Believe me it was
amazing seeing you in those robes you wore. Dumbledore was the
one that stood and walked towards you. I still can’t believe that you
are actually a princess.” Harry said to her.
“I am not a princess anymore. I will never be a princess again.” She said to him.
“Remember when Bill invited you to stay with us that summer so you
didn’t have to go home and be alone?” He asked her.
“How can I not. It was great. I had the best time of my life that summer.
I went so many places that summer I thought I was always on the move.
It was great fun until Dad showed up and tried to force me to come home.
I still can’t believe that Bill beat the crap out of my father for hitting me in
front of him.” She said with a laugh.
“Tell me about it. I didn’t even know that he could fight until then.
He beat the shit out of him. And you stayed with us every summer
after that until you were taken.” Harry said to her.
“Yeah and they were the best times in my life. Why can’t I forget all
this and why can’t we just go back?” She asked him.
He looked at her and sighed. “I always wondered what it would be like
if my parents weren’t killed. What my life would be like now if they were
still here. But I know that my life wouldn’t be the same. I wouldn’t have
the great friends I have and I wouldn’t have you in my life. You may not
know it but we do love you. We all do. And we miss you. We are here to
go through this pain with you if only you allow us to. We need to be there
for you. We need you to trust us enough to let us in.”
She looked him in the eyes and the tears started to fall. “Oh Harry I am
sorry I didn’t mean to make you guys feel like I don’t trust you. I trust
you all with my life. I will talk to you all when I am ready. I still have to
sort through all these things.”
Harry wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him. “Why don’t
we skip classes today?”
“I would like that a lot.” She said to him as she leaned into him.
He smiled into her hair and she closed her eyes. “I missed this.”
“I did too Rose.” He whispered as he leaned into the rock behind them.
She snuggled into him and sighed. He ran his fingers through her hair
until he realized she was sleep.
~~Dream~~
“Tie her up on the table.” The man in the mask said to the two that were holding
her.
She was limp and not fighting as they placed her on the table. When they let go
of her to tie her up she didn’t move. She just lay there and waited for what they
were going to do. The man in the mask walked over to her and looked down into
her face. “You have stopped screaming and our Lord doesn’t like that very much
so he gave us permission to give you lessons on screaming and if you still don’t
scream then it will be death.”
“I won’t scream. I will never allow you to hear my screams ever again.” She hissed
up at him.
“Oh you will scream and I will be the one to make you scream.” He said as he slapped
her across the face.
She didn’t scream. “I will die before you hear me scream again.”
“Then your death will be long slow and painful. So get ready for the last time you
will ever be able to move. Because tonight you will die.” He said as he took off the
mask.
She looked up into the face of her father. “You sick fucking bastard.”
“Yes I am and this fucking bastard is going to fuck you.” He growled into
her ear before he bit it hard enough to bleed.
She closed her eyes and held in the scream that wanted to come out. She
wasn’t going to allow him to hear the anger and hurt in her voice. He
sneered at her and ripped the rags off her body. It was bruised and battered
from all the others. “Bet they hurt.”
She didn’t say anything as he slammed a paddle down on her legs. She
wanted to scream but she didn’t even let it come out. He slammed it down
in the same place again and again. But still she didn’t scream. He moved
up her legs and did it over and over again until he realized that she wasn’t
going to scream. He threw it and it hit the wall across the room. He grabbed
her by her hair and glared down at her. “I will hear you scream. Malfoy bring
the chains.”
Draco’s father handed him the chains and walked back and sat down in the
seat he had been watching from. He wrapped the chains around his hand
and slammed it into her stomach. It knockedthe wind out
of her but she didn’t make a sound. He did it again and again.
Still she didn’t scream. “YOU BITCH! YOU WILL SCREAM!”
Suddenly there was a crash and four people appeared in the doorway.
They ran in followed by six others. “Leave her alone!”
~~End Dream~~
“Rose sweetie are you ok?” Harry asked her.
“Yes I am ok.” She said as she sat up. The sun was high in the sky and she was hungry.
“I think we need to head to the kitchen and get something to eat and then
we will go to our spot. You haven’t been there in along time.” Harry said as he stood up.
He helped her up and they walked towards the castle. “Don’t you think that
Dumbledore is going to be mad because we missed classes?”
“Don’t worry Rose it is Friday and it was his idea for us to miss classes.” Harry said to her.
“I should have known.” She said with a laugh.
She stopped and looked at him. “Does that mean he asked you to come and talk to me?”
“No I was heading out here to make sure you were ok. I am worried about you.
He stopped me and told me that he will excuse us from classes today so we can
spend some missed time together.
He doesn’t have to tell me to talk to you. I want to talk to you.” Harry said to her.
She looked at him and smiled. “That means a lot.”
He smiled and grabbed her hand. Then he pulled her into the castle.
“So what do you want to eat?”
“I would like a cheeseburger!’ She said as she jumped up and down.
He looked at her and laughed. “Now that wasn’t something that I expected from you.
I thought you didn’t eat meat?”
“I didn’t for a long time. Then it was the only thing I could get so I ate it.
I love meat now.” She said as they walked towards the kitchen.
