Manipulation
Hermione was tearing her hair out. As much as she loved her daughter, she wished Eileen would stop showing Slytherin signs and be less sneaky. For a seven year old, she sure knew how to play people; she had Severus twisted around her little finger.
Lucius, however, was more of a mummy\'s boy, although he would probably leave the country if she told any one that. He didn\'t call Hermione \'mum\', but she could tell her felt that way. He seemed to feel a bit uncomfortable with Severus when they were alone, so he tended to stick with her.
Hermione could not say that in their seven years together, Severus had changed very much. He was still jealous and he still got angry quickly, though he refrained from doing it in front of any one, especially Eileen.
For all his faults, he was a brilliant father. While Eileen ran Hermione ragged, she seemed had more respect for her dad. According to her, what Severus said was law; she could tell when her father thought enough was enough. Although, she only had to bat her eyelids and Severus would give her anything she wanted.
After finding her hair brush, Hermione continued to pack Eileen’s things. They were leaving for Hogwarts and the start of the new school year; Lucius\' last year, incidentally.
She folded Eileen’s last dress and put it into the fifth bag full of her daughters’ things. She tapped each box in turn and they disappeared to their rooms at Hogwarts.
Hermione heard the door bell ring and then some one coming up the stairs. A moment later, Minerva was standing in the bedroom door way.
\"Hermione,\" She smiled, \"I\'m here for the children.\"
Hermione nodded and led her back down stairs. Eileen and Lucius were in the living room.
\"Ready to go, you two?\" She asked.
\"Yes!\" They chorused.
\"Come on, then.\" Hermione smiled, pointing to Minerva. Eileen ran over and hugged Hermione around the waist. She kissed her daughter on the top of the head; this was why she could never stay angry for long.
Hermione hugged Lucius quickly, before Minerva led them to the fire and flooed them to the school. Hermione dragged her hands over her face when the green flames died. Two familiar arms encircled her waist and lips rested on her neck.
\"You\'re not getting around me that way.\" She told him flatly, \"That girl is a menace and you encourage it.\"
\"I do no such thing,\" He murmured against her skin.
\"Not working!\" Hermione told him, as she tugged at his arms and tried to move away. Finally, she broke out of his grasp, but Severus caught her by the wrist and pulled her closer again, this time smashing his lips into her.

Hermione kept telling Severus that he spoiled his daughter rotten, but he couldn\'t help it. Eileen knew how to manipulate him and he let her... within reason, of course.
Hermione was as brilliant and beautiful as ever, and he loved her more than ever. He often wonder what she was still doing with him, but then either she or Eileen would come along and he would worship which ever God was smiling down upon him.
Severus had become used to Lucius being around. He didn\'t exactly like him that much, but he could tolerate him. The blonde realized this and kept his head down.
Severus let go of his wife and smirked as she glared at him. She was gorgeous when she was annoyed.
