Azkaban
The barred door creaked open. Severus turned over on his moldy mattress just in time to see it being closed again. Lowering his gaze, he spied a small bowl of thick, greenish looking soup.
He sighed and sat up. That was the only time he had human contact, when the guards bought him food. They never spoke though.
Severus\' thin, tall form stood up, shaking and feeling dizzy. He tottered over to the slush he was expected to eat and picked it up in trembling hands.
He hated the state he was in, weak and powerless. His wand had been taken from him and because he could do wandless magic, he had been put in a highly warded cell.
Gods, how he wished that some one would find out the truth, he didn\'t want to die in this hell hole they called a prison. Gingerly, he dipped his finger into the mixture in the bowl and brought it to his out stretched tongue.
It tasted like shit, and he would dearly give up his life to have one more meal at Hogwarts.
It hurt to think about the school, because when he thought about his home for too long, he thought about the man he considered his father, and if he thought about his father for too long, he would cry.
And Severus Snape hadn\'t cried for over thirty years
