New Friends

Chapter 2: New Friends
Harry woke the next morning with the same smile on his face that he fell asleep with. Harry got out of bed and went to the bathroom connected to the sleeping quarters to take a shower. When he walked back out and into the bedroom he saw that everyone was gone and that no one had woken him for breakfast, which he was used to by now.
Harry walked over to his trunk and picked out a nice outfit for the day, he had gone and gotten a whole new wardrobe the summer before. Since it was Saturday he chose an emerald green shirt that brought out his now glassless eyes, he had also gotten them fixed during the summer, after losing them during the final fight with Voldemort. He also chose a pair of skin tight black jeans that hugged in all the right places. After getting dressed Harry walked down to the great hall and sat down at the end of the Gryffindor table, and started to eat breakfast while steeling glances at the Slytherin table.
Harry still couldn’t figure out what had happened last night with Draco, ‘wao when did I start to call him Draco?’ ‘When he kissed you last night’ his subconscious told him. After finishing eating and fighting with himself for a little while Harry left the great hall to go down to Hogsmeade.
While walking out the main doors Harry once again walked into none other than Draco Malfoy and couldn’t help but stare at him. Harry couldn’t for the life of him figure out why his legs had stop working and was contemplating if he should go to the hospital wing when Draco spoke.
“I thought you got your eyes fixed Potter, yet you still run into things all the time.” Draco said in a sneering voice.
Harry just looked up at the taller boy and stared for a minute, and then very dumbly said, “What?”
Malfoy smiled a very small smile that you would have to look closely to see and replied, “Are you going to stand there all day Potter or were you actually going somewhere?”
Harry smiled up at Draco with his best smile, looked him strait in the eyes and before he could think said, “I’m going to Hogsmeade, wanna go with me?”
Draco looked down into Harry’s eyes and couldn’t help think that he looked beautiful with his big green eyes, messy raven black hair, his small stature, and that big goofy grin on his face. Draco had started to care greatly for Harry after seeing how his so called friends had started to treat him at the beginning of the year.
Remembering where they were and that Harry had asked him a question Draco looked around to see if they were alone and then looked back at Harry and said, “What would your little friends think if they saw you in Hogsmeade with a Slytherin?”
A dark shadow fell over Harry’s eyes at the mention of his friends, but then he looked up and straight into Draco’s eyes and said, “What friends, and even if I still had friends I wouldn’t care what they would say, it’s my life I can spend my time with whoever I want to.”
Draco looked at Harry in a new light; Draco had just gained another new respected for Harry. One last night when he found out that Harry didn’t hate Severus or his father but that was probably because they helped him in the final battle, and now when he said that he wouldn’t care what his friends would think, if they were still his friends that is.
Draco smiled and held out his hand to Harry, “Hello I’m Draco Malfoy.”
Harry looked at the hand for a split millisecond then took it and smiled while saying, “Harry Potter, pleasure meeting you.”
Draco shook Harry hand and flashed another smile at him, “We going to Hogsmeade or not?”
Harry smiled again at Draco and fallowed him out the main doors and down the path leading to Hogsmeade.

Since I had a couple people tell me that I left to many things to question, I thought I would continue. I already answered why Harry doesn’t hate Lucius or Severus. I will also answer why Ron and Hermione turned on Harry. I will also answer why the whole of Gryffindor turned on him, all in later chapters.
