Meeting the Malfoys
Meeting the Malfoys
The summer at Malfoy Manner was moving along just at eventfully. Lucius’ sixteen year old cousin, Layla would be coming to live with them and go to school with Draco as her parents had just been killed in a house fire. Draco was ecstatic at her pending arrival, having barely any knowledge of his great aunt or uncle. He was determined to cheer her up and had a dozen ideas of what they could do. Draco had run around torturing the house elves to make sure her bedroom was perfect for when she arrived. He and Narcissa, Lucius having been imprisoned in Azkaban earlier that summer, anxiously awaited her arrival at the apparating station.
“Now, would that be my lil’ Drakeekins standin’ there before my very eyes?” Her American southern accent showing through her voice as the auburn witch sauntered over to her second cousin and his mother. Draco’s face lit up at the sight of her.
“Now Laylay, I thought I told you never to use that nickname again.” He chided as he hugged her.
“That’s cute Draco, very cute. Hello cousin Narcissa, how are you?”
“I’m quite well thank you Layla, are you doing okay?” The older blonde woman asked her voice full of concern.
“I’m dealing. I mean, it’s not as if they weren’t practically on their deathbeds already. I don’t know why they had me so late in their lives, but they said the smoke got them in their sleep, so they didn’t suffer. Besides, it would be pointless to try and stay depressed around Draco here, I’m sure his brain’s a bubbling with things for us to do before school starts.” She said as happily as she could muster at the moment.
Once at the manor, Draco immediately raced upstairs with Layla to lock them in her new room.
“Draco, it’s perfect.” She said as she looked around at the décor. The black metal four poster bed with black silk sheets, and a comforter with a wolf running across it, stood in the center of the room across from the door. Posters of her favorite bands on the wall with pictures of her and any member of her family, mainly of her and Draco, scattered around as well. It was the bed that Draco ran to and sprawled himself out on. Layla followed suit a moment later.
“So, what kinds of parties are we going to this summer Draco?” She asked remembering the previous times she had been to visit her cousin. Each time they hadn’t spent more than enough time to sleep and eat in the house itself.
“I don’t know.” Draco said, obviously lost in thought. His eyes glazed over a bit, it must have been a good daydream. Layla smirked at this.
“Draaaaco.” She sang. When she received no answer she proceeded to pounce on him, effectively knocking him out of his daydream and his breath.
“What?” He wheezed.
“I asked you what kinds of parties we were going to hit. But obviously some sexy boy has taken your attention away from me. What’s his name?” Draco sighed, she knew him all to well.
“There are quite a few parties on the agenda, all of them worthy of our attendance I assure you and as for his name, I won’t tell you, he doesn’t really like me much so there is no point.” Draco’s eyes fell.
“Someone not like you? I’m shocked!” She pretended to faint.
“Yes well, he’s hated me since first year, I don’t think he’s going to warm up to me that quickly.” Draco confirmed.
“Well suga’ that’s what cousin Layla is for. Alright, let’s see, we need to party, and get this nameless boy to fall madly in love with you, we need to get me some action too, as it’s only fair, anything else on the agenda?”
“While we’re making him fall in love with me, how about taking him shopping, his wardrobe is dreadful.” Layla started scribbling this down already cheering up in anticipation of their summer of mischief.
“Now, we have exactly three weeks until school starts, it will obviously take longer than that to make this boy fall for you, if he really is that dense to hate you, but I think we should get started almost immediately. Is there any chance he may be at one of these parties this summer?”
“No. He lives with muggle relatives, I never see him around unless he’s with that blasted Weasel and Granger. Mind you Granger’s not too bad, for a muggle-born, too smart for her own good, but not half bad, if she would clean up that hair. If he’s with the Weasel then he would have to come as well and that would be the end of my social standing as I know it, inviting a Weasley to a party, I shudder to think.”
“Drama Queen.”
“I don’t care what you say. Our first party on the list is an underground party in the back of a muggle store I know called Ravish, it’s tomorrow night, and so we have plenty of time to coordinate outfits.”
The following night Draco spent an hour in front of the mirror after he’d finished dressing, fussing with his appearance. His white blonde hair now fell just past his chin almost hiding his earrings. He’d got three done one day, two in his lower left and one his right cartilage. After those he got bolder and got his green and silver dragon tattoo on his back. His mother did not know about that one, nor did she know about the thundercloud he’d got while drunk one night on his right front hip, but she did know about the green snake he had on his left wrist. That evening he was wearing his favorite pair of black leather pants, that weren’t skin tight, but tight enough to show off what he wanted, he wore a pair of black combat boots, and a black wife beater under a silver button up shirt, left open. He had applied some makeup, mostly around his eyes to accentuate them more, some black eyeliner went a long a way.
Layla laughed at him fussing, constantly telling him he looked perfect while she also fussed a bit while watching him. She had on thigh high pale pink stockings with white platform sneakers, a flirty white mini skirt with a baby pink off the shoulder top and white suspenders. She wore a pink ribbon around her neck and two more around her pigtails. If she rolled up her sleeves you could see the blood tipped ice crystal tattoos she had around her wrists. Her eyebrow piercing shining in the light as did the glitter she’d applied to her own eyes.
“I think we’re ready to go darlin’” She smiled.
“Fine. Let’s go before I change my outfit again.” Draco sneered at himself a little.
They strutted into the party as if they owned the place. Kaelyn, the hostess of the illegal party ran up to Draco and gave him hug.
“Who’s your friend?” She asked, clearly checking Layla out.
“My cousin, Layla, Layla meet Kaelyn, she’s throwing this party.”
“Nice to meet you.” Layla smiled at the girl.
“Yes it is. Ooh, before I forget, I hope you don’t mind, but there is this gorgeous guy I invited just for you Draco.”
“Kaelyn, you know I don’t want to be set up.”
“Yes Kaelyn, he’s got his sights set on someone else. Who is it again Draco?”
“Harry Potter.” Draco said quickly as he was caught in a vision of the other teen. Layla laughed.
“Even so, you’ll absolutely love him, even if only for tonight I swear, if only he’d get here.”

Hermione stood letting Harry fuss over her outfit after the tenth time she’d screwed it up.
“Harry, I swear, if you weren’t a flamer with fashion sense I’d have to kill myself.” Harry laughed at the description she used. He’d dressed her in her hot pink tights with knee high lace up black boots. Then he put her in a black and white polka dotted baby doll dress with dozens of rubber bracelets on her wrists. Her hair was up on top of her head in an extremely high ponytail that showed off the opalescent streaks she had in her hair and she had big dangling earrings in her ears. He let her do her own makeup and she came out wearing pink lipstick and black eye shadow with hot pink eyeliner.
“I told you I would make you gorgeous and you are. Not that you really couldn’t have done this yourself, but I was happy to have a dolly for a minute.” He ducked as she threw a pillow at him.
“Now, is it safe for me to dress myself?” He teased and she stuck her tongue out at him. He went to his side of the dresser and began rummaging through his choices. Finally he settled on a pair of skin tight leather pants with calf high lace up boots. Harry put on a black wife beater with a green fishnet long sleeve shirt over it. He also threw on his studded snake choker again as it was his favorite new piece. Sticking his newly pierced tongue, which had a snake head for a ball, out at Hermione he went into the bathroom to do his hair and makeup. He started with a little bit of gloss on his lips and then put a thick line of eye liner around his now vision corrected eyes. Then he took his now shoulder length and green tipped hair and tousled it a bit so it didn’t hang as flat. He kind of missed the craziness of his old hair. He also fussed with it until it covered his scar and effectively one of his eyes, however it did hide his new industrial piercing in his left ear which he wished it wouldn’t hide, but dealt with it.
“Tell me how pretty I look.” He teased as he came out of the bathroom.
“Gorgeous, simply gorgeous.” She teased right back as he swept her up and they started doing an exaggerated waltz. “Now, let’s go to this party!” She screamed.
They opened the doors to the party and made their entrance. Near everyone noticed their arrival, including Kaelyn and Layla.
“Who is the hottie?” Layla asked, staring with Kaelyn, not at Harry, but at Hermione.
“That is the girl I invited, and the guy she’s with; I want to set him up with Draco.” Kaelyn responded before the two made their way over to them.
“You made it!” Kaelyn hollered over the music.
“And why wouldn’t we?” Hermione answered.
“By the way, I’m Kaelyn and this is Layla.” The girl pointed to the auburn haired girl next to her.
“It’s a pleasure, I’m Hermione and this is Harry.” Hermione said staring at Layla. Harry laughed and took Kaelyn away.
“And with that we’ve lost her for a while.” Harry said. Kaelyn laughed.
“Harry, there’s someone I want you to meet.” Harry gave her a frightened look as she dragged him through the crowd.
“You’ll absolutely love him.” She continued excitedly. Harry pulled her to a stop.
“I’m not looking to be set up Kaelyn, thanks but no thanks.” Harry pulled away from her grasp and headed for the bar. Kaelyn followed him, determined.
“Sorry Harry, I didn’t mean to offend you, but you two seem perfect for each other.” Harry looked at her.
“Look, Kaelyn, you seem very nice, but I don’t know you nor do I know you’re friends, and like I said, I’m not looking to be set up, not in the slightest, so just drop it.” With that Harry downed the rest of his drink and walked towards the dance floor where he saw Hermione and Layla dancing together. Harry glided around taking it all in. The mass of bodies grinding together to the beat, the strobe lights strung up haphazardly around the room, the makeshift DJ with his second hand turntables. He danced his way through the crowd to seat himself in a corner watching it all. That’s where Hermione and Layla found him an hour later with a smirk on his face. Kaelyn had watched him, thinking it was a strange coincidence that this young man’s name was Harry while at the same time, Draco’s crush was named Harry as well. She decided to find out, so she stepped up behind the other two girls.
“There you are!” Hermione cried.
“We’ve been looking for you!” Layla smiled.
“Harry, what’s your last name?” Kaelyn questioned, gaining odd looks from the others.
“It’s Potter why?” Layla and Kaelyn both gasped and Layla practically jumped up and down with excitement. “Oh Gods, what?” Harry asked, fearful. Layla turned and waved her cousin over.
“Harry, I want to introduce you to my cousin.” She said as Draco appeared next to her. Draco’s eyes little slits trying to recognize the other boy, but when he saw two emerald eyes grow big his did the same as he realized who it was.
Harry looked up and immediately recognized the youngest Malfoy standing in front of him. His eyes grew wide as he stared into those silver orbs. He willed himself not to get aroused at the sight of Draco, but it was too late.
Draco could only stare at the other teen, frozen in place by the hardening he felt below his waist. He tried to will it away, but he couldn’t tear his eyes from Harry’s. The three girls noticed what was happening between the two and they couldn’t stifle their giggles quick enough. Suddenly Harry was standing.
“Malfoy.” He sneered, expecting Draco to become hateful. Instead, Draco looked slightly taken aback by Harry’s sneer.
“Potter.” He replied, his tone lacking his usual regal attitude.
“Now boys. Play nicely.” Hermione teased.
“Yes. If you don’t, I might have to reveal some secrets that Drakeekins doesn’t want me to.” Layla threatened. Draco glared at her.
“She’s right Malfoy, it’s about time we stopped this fighting shit. Besides, we’ll soon be members of the same house, so it would pointless to argue.” Harry smirked at him.
“What do you mean?” Draco queried.
“Hermione and I are going to be resorted, Dumbledore has no choice. She and I belong in Slytherin, always have.” Harry answered, Draco looked to Hermione for confirmation and he noticed the difference in her, she nodded at him. Kaelyn suddenly felt oddly out of place amongst these four and sauntered off to find herself a girl to make out with. Layla watched her go and then turned to the rest.
“Let’s get out of here.”
“And go where?” Hermione asked.
“Narcissa’s gone for the weekend; let’s go back to the manor.” Layla suggested. Draco thought about it for a moment.
“Yes, join us; will your muggle relatives miss you?” Draco asked.
“I doubt that. Hermione and I have been staying in a muggle hotel. It keeps us away from Dumbledore.” Draco raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed.
“How long have you been ‘missing’?” Draco asked.
“A little over a week, we left the day after my birthday.” Harry stated as they made their way towards the door.
“Then we’ll go fetch your things and the two of you will be staying with us for the rest of the summer.” Layla said pointedly.
“That’s not necessary, we can party some more there tonight, but we don’t have to stay the rest of the summer.” Harry offered.
“No, you’re staying, now let’s go.” Draco said and walked off. The girls noticed Harry’s eyes travel down to watch the blonde’s ass.
“So I see my Draco isn’t the only one in love.” Layla whispered in Hermione’s ear.
“He’s so far gone, it’s ridiculous. But, how to get them together.” Hermione whispered back.
“Lock them in a room and don’t let them out till they’ve fucked at least three times, if not more.” Layla said and Hermione erupted in laughter. Both boys turned to look at her. She shook her head at them and leaned on Layla. Harry smiled at her.
