Thank you for all the wonderful reviews. *hugs and kisses you all*

And thanks to Morgeth for pointing out that Draco was in his fifth year when in fact the Triward Tournament and Yule Ball were in the fourth year. I went back and corrected it. So to warn you Draco is fourteen in this fic.

Now, on with the show! ^^

Lucius’ eyes slowly fluttered open. He nuzzled Draco...He felt around the bed.
Suddenly, he bolted upright, the sheets falling around his midriff. Where was Draco?

Draco burst into the room, wrapped in one of the bed sheets. Really it was quite unbecoming for a Malfoy to stroll about the house in nothing but a bed sheet.

“Father! Mother is gone!”

Lucius, having just woken up took a moment to ingest what his son was saying.

“All of her things, there gone too! She left us father!”

Draco climbed into his father’s lap on the oversized bed. He laid his head on his father’s warm chest and cried softly, as his father wrapped his arms around him. He loved his mother, although distant of his father, she was never so to him. She was not the best mother, being somewhat harsh, but she had been there for him when he felt lost or upset. She always managed to make him smile when he was feeling his worst, and now she was just…gone! He couldn’t help but feel rejected, even within his father’s solid embrace.

“Father, why did she leave?”

Lucius was a little unsure of what he could tell his sobbing son. Quite frankly he was glad that the cold bitch was gone.

“Shhh…it’s alright my dragon…shhh”

He comforted as he rubbed soothing circles on the small of his back, and leaned down for a kiss.

“She left Draco because she doesn’t approve of our union.”

Yes that was most likely the reason Lucius thought. After all not many people would be…happy if they found out about this, but Lucius did not care. He deeply loved Draco and that is all that mattered. As long as his son was alright nothing else mattered to him.

“Now,” Lucius said, in his usual sleek, self-assured tone, “calm yourself, it’s nearly time for brunch and Severus will be joining us.”
Draco tried to compose himself as he sat on the bed, rubbing his eyes. He wondered if he would see his mother again. Draco shivered slightly when he felt his father’s breath in his ear.

“Come, have a bath Draco…” His father leaned down and kissed his ear gently. “With me,” he said silkily, his hot breath tickling the sensitive hairs in Draco’s ear.
Draco looked at his father as he disappeared into the bathroom.

Draco sat in the hot water on his father’s lap reveling in the feel of his father scrubbing his back and washing his fine hair.
“So beautiful,” his father whispered in his delicate ear, giving it a light naughty lick. Draco turned his head around to meet his father’s lips as he kissed him deeply. Lucius smiled into the kissed before his dragon’s tongue probed his mouth, exploring his hot wet cavern. Lucius gave a soft groan as his son massaged his tongue with his own.
Draco reluctantly pulled away and gave his father foxy smile. Lucius, in return, gave a lecherous smile that promised most indecent things, and tackled his son’s lips. Draco gave a giddy squeal of excitement.

Draco, Lucius and Severus sat around their table enjoying a meal of scones, crapes and cantaloupe drink the Severus had brought.
They talked about various things such as the Triwizard Tournament and Hogwarts to name a few. It had been a while since Severus had paid them visit, of course Draco did not have much to tell his godfather since he saw him at school.

“Have you heard the rumors of the dark lord’s return?” asked Lucius.

“Yes I have,” said Snape reaching for the butter. “I heard he’s planning to abduct Potter during the last trial of the Triwizard Tournament.”

“Do you know how he’s plans to go about it?”

“Not yet.”

Just then a large grey owl came swooping into the room carrying an unmistakable red envelope.

“A screamer?” Snape asked.

“Who would be sending us screamer.” Draco asked, a little unnerved. He really despised getting screamers. The shrill cry made his ears want to bleed.

The envelope dropped in front of Lucius and he noticed it was addressed to him.
Calmly, he opened the red seal.

“LUCIUS!!!!” Narcissa’s voice shrieked.

“HOW IN MERLIN’S NAME COULD YOU!!!! YOU SICK BASTARD!!!!!”

“I HAVE A RIGHT MIND TO CUT OFF YOUR BOTH YOUR TESTICLES WITH A JAGGED AX AND FORCE FEED THEM TO YOU UNTILL YOU CHOKE!!!!!

Lucius sat back from the howling and hissing letter, his face growing paler.
Draco was as whiter than a ghost and Snape choked on his toast.

“YOU PERVERTED SNAKE, HOW DARE YOU DEFILE DRACO YOU SICK TWISTED ASS!!!!

“YOU BETTER PRAY TO EVERY DIVINE BEING YOU CAN THINK OF, AND HOPE FOR THE LOVE OF MERLIN THE DARK LORD GETS TO YOU BEFOR I DO.”

With that, the letter tore itself up in a vengeance.

“What the bloody hell was that about!?” Snape asked as he recovered from choking on his toast; thumping his fist against his chest.

Lucius sat there trying to calm himself. ‘How dare that vile banshee send me a screamer!’

“It’s nothing Severus, we are not on…good terms at the moment.”

“When have you ever been on good terms?” Severus snorted.

Draco couldn’t hear this any longer. He quickly excused himself and ran up to his room shutting the door.

Lucius stared after his son retreating form, he worried, although his expression remained placid.

Alone in his room, Draco laid quietly on his bed, staring out the window at the falling snow. He loved his father so deeply that it had angered his mother, and that’s why she had left. “Really it’s all, my fault.” He whispered quietly to himself. “Maybe I should just leave.” He shook his head. That would just upset his father and he didn’t want to hurt him, and really he didn’t want to, so Draco just lay there engulfed in sea of confusion. He then turned into his pillow and cried softly.

Well this was hard to write, Dialogue is Just plain hard to do. It’s a little short but I thought I would upload this while I collect my thoughts on how to go about the next chapter.

I am a little unsure as to how to continue it from here. I have ideas; I just have trouble formulating them. Anyway I hope you liked the second chapter and please Read and Review! I welcome criticism with open arms but please don’t be harsh.

Until the next chapter

Tissy.
