Chapter 2
Evan woke the next morning to the alarm going off at 8a.m. He turned it off and was about to go back to sleep, as he had only slept 4 hours, when Wyatt came out of the bathroom in just a towel.
“You better get up. We have to be at my parents in a few hour and you know we are going to have to go over and make sure Chris wakes up. Not to mention it is a forty- five minute drive from Chris’s to their house.”
“Alright, I’m up.”
An hour later they were outside Chris’s apartment waiting for Evan to unlock the door. Once inside Wyatt went to wake Chris while Evan made coffee for the three of them.
“Chris it’s time to get up.” He heard Wyatt say from the bedroom. He then heard Chris mumble something unintelligibly. “Chris come on we gotta be to mom’s in about an hour and if you don’t get up now I will have no choice but to drive the three of us there.”
That really could be considered a threat because they only let Wyatt drive when they were really late for something, he tended to have a bit of a lead foot, and wasn’t always the safest one to be on the road with.
Ten minutes later Chris and Wyatt walked out of the bedroom with Chris fully clothed. Chris looked over at Evan, “how can you be awake at this time, both of you, I know Harry didn’t get home till 3:30 and knowing you, you weren’t asleep yet.”
“My third cup of coffee in the last hour and your brother’s fourth.”
“Well I guess that answers that question. So where’s mine.” Evan handed out the coffee and soon the three were out the door.
Soon they were pulling up in front of Piper and Leo’s house and were making their way inside.
“Hello any one here?” Yelled Wyatt.
“I am in the kitchen and your dad is in the living room waiting for the others.”
Wyatt and Chris went into the living room to talk to their dad, as they were useless in the kitchen, and had actually found a way to burn water. Needless to say Piper forbid them to ever enter her kitchen unless they had to brew a potion, which they had no trouble with at all. Evan on the other hand usually helped Piper cook when the whole family came over, having had lots of practice at the Dursleys.
“Need any help?”
“Actually I am almost done here, but stick around and you can help he carry it out into the other room.”
Soon they had everything set up and were waiting for the others to show up.
“So mom who all is coming?” Asked Chris
Well, there is Phoebe and Cole, and Paige and Glenn, as well as Caleb, Colleen, and Cory (Phoebe and Cole’s children) and then there is Michelle (Paige and Glenn’s only child) and her boyfriend, or it’s fiancé now, Aaron. She also told Aaron about being a witch so he will be included in this.”

Evan was glad the two were engaged; he had met Aaron a couple of times and really liked him. Just then the door opened and everyone else walked in.
Once everyone was seated Cole asked, “Ok Piper, what was so important that you had to call us all here?”
“Well, we got this letter from someone named Albus Dumbledore asking for help.” Wyatt tightened his hold on Evan as Piper continued. “He is the headmaster at a school for wizards in Scotland, and it seems demons have found a way to enter the school and have been attacking the students. The wizards don’t know how to fight them and have asked for our assistance. Now I told him that Caleb and Colleen wouldn’t be able to come as they had classes at the University. He also said that he would find a way for Cory to finish High School. All we need to do is decide if we are going to go there and help.”
“I say we tell them to go screw themselves, they don’t deserve our help!” Exclaimed Chris. He would never forgive the people who treated his best friend like he has nothing.
Everyone was looking at Chris like he had grown an extra head. Usually he was the first to want to help. It was then Evan decided to come clean with the rest of the family and hope he could get them to agree to go. The children didn’t deserve to be attacked by demons when they would be able to help.
(I am not going to include the whole story, but you all know how it goes.)
When he finished telling his story the whole family just stared at him in shock and frankly it kinda unnerved him.
“Wait, you said you have a scar from this guy. How come we have known you for four years and never seen it?” Asked Cole. He had heard of Harry Potter a couple of times and knew he was powerful.
“After I killed Voldemort the connection between us and the scar faded, but it is still there if you look closely. With that he pulled up his bangs and the other’s were able to see there was a scar there, but so light you wouldn’t have seen it if you weren’t looking.
“Well not to sound stupid or anything, but I understand you all discussing this, but why are Evan, Glenn, and I here? You just said the Wizards can’t fight demons, so that mean Evan isn’t needed, and Glenn and I don’t have any powers so we won’t be of any use to you.” Aaron asked.
“Well you come with us so you will be protected.” Came Michelle’s calm voice.
“Yeah if your luck is anything like Ev’s you might just become a demon’s favorite bargaining tool. Well until Wyatt shows up pissed off.” Smirked Chris.
“Hey, I haven’t been kidnapped that many times. Only a couple.”
“Six is a few more than a couple, Ev.” Said Wyatt.
“Well it hasn’t happened lately.” Pouted Evan.
“That is because the demons prefer not to be on the wrong side of Wyatt when he is pissed off anymore. I have heard it is dangerous for a demon’s health.” Laughed Cole.
“Ok, Ev’s kidnappings, which are quite numerous, aside we need to get back to the matter at hand. Who thinks we should go and help?” Said Leo this time.
All but Chris raised their hands. “Well I need to find a way to get a letter to Dumbledore, Ev can you help me with that?” Evan nodded. “Can you all be ready to go in two weeks time?” They all nodded. “Good well we are all done here. Have some of the cookies on the table.” With that everyone settled into comfortable conversation about what would come in the next couple of weeks.
